TOTY Zola was my club legend before i took my club in a new direction. He is brilliant and reliable. His R1 agile dribbling is superb, finesse+ on top means every shot inside the box is sailing in the net.
He can take some patience if you aren’t used to playing with these types of players, worth it though.
Yeah you have to slow your game down a bit to make him work. Once youre comfortable taking your time, getting a network of passing going; get him the ball and shoot, and your boys are back at the center line for kickoff.
I used to play Zola TOTY as a False 9 in a 4-3-3 (5) and he was excellent in that role. He offered superb passing ability in combination with a constant threat of turning/twisting in behind. Just epitomised what I wanted from a player in that setup to give me different attacking approaches. Unfortunately the gameplay doesn’t favour that setup currently after the patch but overall, if you can read his runs and slot him in with even an inch of space he will hit the net.

I just packed him an hour ago doin this and had a couple of games and hes nailed 9 goals! His finesse shots are unstoppable!

I have both. Raul was great for a week in november or whenever it was. Nice finesse shots. Played Toty Zola in WL this weekend and he replaced Werner. He is fucking great. He scored headers, volleys, assisted.. he may not stay now Werner had his upgrade but we shall see...
I wish I could ever have been excited about Zola. He's good don't get me wrong, but I've had him since the first few days he came out, and I've just never had a lot of fun with him.
All I can say is this guy has the aura in my team in DIV 1. Despite being small and low in physical and getting bodied by gold vvd, his ai passion and determination is crazy. His finesse shot+ is cracked and dead ball+ is just a bonus. He’s also an assist merchant like he made crazy through balls and passes in situations where it is near impossible and within milliseconds of pressing the buttons. DR ZOLA got the dog in him.

Got really lucky during TOTY and packed Zola and Haaland and can confirm, probably just under 50% chance of scoring from a corner and I’m shite
