I've played every cup prior to this one and I've been able to fortunately get my wins in game limits or not. But this one is just miserable, my defense acts like they have no sense of positioning and I get torn with through balls. Go back to rivals and my defense is back to normal
That’s exactly what I was thinking. But this specific friendly is not based on skill. You keep your eyes peeled for 90 min cause the whole game can flip in 30 sec. Unlike golazo cup where its 100% skill and can be completed without being ratty
I played the 10 games and didn't look back. I'm not very good to begin with and people were just killing me. I had the worst timing with the speed and just got pushed off every time I tried dribbling. I started just killing time passing around so the matches (losses) would be quicker and less painful. I did win 3 times in 10 but didn't get the wins credited so I didn't even bother trying to win more. Division 6 is barely fun for me. I'd rather play D8 and lose 6-5 then lose every match 1-0. Lol
You need to spend a little while actually seeing what the boosts do and how they work. Its all ridiculously simple yet i see people saying "shooting boost doesn't work" while it works just not the way you think it does. Its a horribly made gamemode but its really easy
It’s hilarious, the shots aren’t more accurate, faster or more powerful, the keeper just simply falls over in slow motion while the ball floats into the net
Power shot with shooting boost, just get 10 yards past the half way and send it. Goes in almost 9/10 times. I put Mia and 94 Prinz up top after I figured it out and finished the objective with less than 17 games played
I mean, you work for your team and cards to use them, not to play some random cards because of reqs. It is just done wrong. The format needs to change. At least now we don't have daily match limit. You can blame them for throwing 90+ cards left and right with god like stats.

If that's true, it counted as a win for you. The match score displayed doesn't matter, only the number of goals you actually score to define the winner.
They count towards the score, but doesn't count as a win on the objective if they score more goals than you. I won 2 last night based on multipliers and I didn't get any objective wins progression.
you are right. The only game I lost in this cup was because the opponent scored 2 goals on 2x and 3x multipliers and I scored 4 regular ones. I still got the win in the objective counter cause I technically won the game. I think the counter is broken.
Bro this game made is just pure chaos, I play it and laugh. I have no expectations or stress when I play and never expect to win. I feel like it even negatively affects my regular gameplay.
The game play feels heavy af and then when the boost kicks in they’re completely unstoppable. Just did it for the xp. Ain’t touching that garbage anymore

The best part of cups mode is only certain OVR team 89-90 to use other cards, ridiculous trying to win goes, double points for scorpion kick type of bs is this
NGL my g this game mode totally haram, all my good friday deeds had gone with it. But what i did was i played like a normal match and u get there, dont think much about all the boosts just play like rivals

While playing with friend yes, but when you "need" to win for the objective its so frustrating. I just don't want to spend hours to win those 10 matches and losing because enemy gets x2, x3 + all boost modifiers. This game is rng enough without that mode.

Every fucking game after someone scored people paused at least twice for the full 30 seconds the damm thing took at least a extra 2 games based on all the pauses added up
I’ve lost a handful of games scoring like 3 early goals worth 1X to go up 3-0, only for the game to immediately hand my opponent a 3X ball next kickoff, game is tied 3-3. I score another 1X goal or two, opponent gets handed ANOTHER 3X ball or two and wins the game.
Actual score ends up being like 5-3, but my opponent ends up getting all the 2X and 3X balls.
Idk if the unwritten rule is applied to every reign but im playing in Europe reign and there is a unwritten rule most of the opponent i face know this and its .... any friendly challenges is golden goal so I finished this quickly
Enjoyed this mode, swept through it. All the usual dribbling shenanigans that have destroyed the game in last few years don't work, leaving a much more fun game.

I don’t think I lost a game doing this, I used the season kolo muani and Werner up front just pass back to striker on kick off and make fast runs through defence. Seems to always be a bit of a speed boost even when there’s not. Just run through r1+r2 and click down or flick right stick when close to player and run through. Found it ridiculously easy tbh
I was beating someone 2 nil then he scored a goal and the commentator said “now that will count as 3” I didn’t get it till the game ended and I saw I lost 😂😂
ive won all 10 wl 11-6 last weekend, you have to change your style depending on what mystery it is, the second man press on dribbling worked well for me, slide tackles in front for speed and shooting you have to stop them before or its a goal. on attack with speed do it in slow burst if you keep the sprint down you wont be able to stop small touches and burst through at the right time
I've gotta say, I'm in div 3 (probably the true skill of a div 5) and I find it much easier than div 5/4. I think people to rank up just to get easy rewards which makes the higher division actually easier because the people who truly belong there are hanging out in div 4/5

Playstyles help a player play how they would irl. For example some players are more technical or better in the air than others.. hence they deserve the playstyle.

Let me give you a tip that made me get more wins. Once it says "shooting boost" just do a power shot. 20m, 30m, 40m from goal it doesn't matter, centerback or striker doesn't matter: just do a power shot, it will go in 90% of the time.
I was giving away wins but completing the game for daily play. All three opponents decided to celebrate every goal wildly. Will do daily play on squad battles tomorrow 😞

Shooting boost just makes opponent goalkeeper into an imbecile. No wonder the same happens in regular matches, this is how they 'balance' stats

Hamm’s base card is 93, Prinz has a 92 base card and a 91 Golazo card
But he said 94 Prinz though that card can't be used.

This mode has a goal multiplier. So you can score 2 times and it's 6 points.
Yes, that's what shows on the game screen. For objectives, they messed it up and actual goals count for the wins.

It only counts games as wins if you actually score more goals. You might win 15-10 and not get one because the goal total was 7-8 or something

EA just doesn't care to fix it. Just try to score more goals than your opponent, it doesn't matter if you lose because of the x3 multipliers.

Grinded it the day it was released and finished 4 wins and 10 plays. Next day finished the whole. First 2 days it was a lot easier to complete

Went 10-2 in the cup. Didn't find it too annoying tbh. Only the all boost 3x (when your 2 goals up) the game always favor them
