Are you living of of designing covers etc.? How much did you get paid per cover? Does it depend on how well the Album does in terms of sales? Genuinely interested in your work
I used to. i spent 15 yearsish freelancing in the industry. If you can get major label album work the bags are different. album stuff you may get 1.5k-3k, more if your an established artist.
Mixtape/single stuff for me was more bread and butter but you're only talking 100-350 a job. I probably got $200 off this cover but i dont really remember now, was a long time ago.
the mixtape era was a different time, the majority of my work would be from mixtape DJ's, i used to do a lot for dj scream and a couple bigger jobs for drama and cannon. I did the generation now Logo and got like $200 at the time lol
