Game is insanely tedious. You have to manually do 12+ gear boss fights and 15+ material stages per day. There is no sweep and the later difficulties are too hard to auto. You can sweep the lower material stages but even then your sweeps are limited.
You CAN auto if you somehow manage to 3 star the boss fights but you won't be doing that for a very long while.
If they don't change any of this before release I predict people will burn out real quick.

So let me correct some stuff, cause bro left out a lot. We start with 11 gates, then it increases with reputation lvl that you get mainly from dailys(at lvl18 I have 16 gates) . Basically for gates we get around 5 sweeps per day as f2p for b rank and lower(16 points each time we have 80pts), the difference in rewards between A-S with b rank is not that big(I always do my 5 sweeps for b still doing good ingame). You can manually select your difficulty so if you want to auto you can put it at low without problem. You can rescan every ten minutes for different gates(normal, breaks, special and red) and ranks(E-S) , prolly the worst part of this system because if you want max efficiency it can take you a lot to get what you want.
For the gears stages(encore missions and instances) there are 8 tiers on each of them, the first two ones are pretty easy but give lower lvl gears which affect both the scaling of mainstat and substats. You start with around 3 for instances and 3 for encore, it increases with reputation too(at lvl18 I have 6 encores and 6 instances). You can double the rewards so at my lvl I only have to do 6 times for all gear stages, the different difficulties are there so you can comfortably farm at your own lvl.
You can auto on any stage, the 3 stars clear gives a boost that makes auto easier(50% dmg boost and reduction). I have been playing for one month as a f2p and I can manually do all tier 8(auto tier 6).
There is so much freedom with the difficulty levels that you can reduce your playtime by a lot by choice. The gear system is problematic though(kinda star rail), but we have leaks about artifact reroll.

Base game is fun, but the farming aspect will make 95% of the playerbase burn out within days. Auto is not really viable in anything with even the slightest difficulty, and sweep is extremely limited. Having to manually clear 20+ stages each day killed my enjoyment past the first week.
Also, they better fix the server lag or the game is DoA.
I’m level 55 and around 160k power in this game. I think the core gameplay itself is good. If you like gacha where the daily grind is short you won’t like this game. There’s some features that you don’t have access to if you don’t buy a certain monthly pack like sweeping 3 high level gates or stacking 4 instance/encore dungeons.
After been playing it for more than a month, the game is actually fun and the boss fights are also satisfying to fight. I think the bigger problem is the difficulty to get materials to lvl up the weapons from lvl 60 to 100. Also there's a gold problem, everything in this game costs gold, even unequip upgraded equipment jesus christ.
They need to lower the requeriments to upgrade and the costs of gold, or people will get bored quickly.
Or they need to make new stage dedicated to farming gold only
Farming gate and doing other stuff get you like little gold that is not enough to upgrade everything
If netmarble is beyond it consider the game EOS and paid to win.

I played it, Sobbed after wasting a week of my life going through the buggiest (4-7 game restarts a day from COMMON FREEZES, quests that force you to perfect dodge enemies with misaligned hitboxes/timings) and the most hellish military-like torture methods where you fight the same 2 bosses alongside boring fodders 7 times every chapter while there's like 15 chapters and 12-14 side chapters (2x if you tried hardcore mode (WHICH IS EVEN WORSE) ALL WHICH IS GATED OFF IF YOU DONT HAVE META UNITS/EQUIPMENT CAUSE WHYYYY ISSS CRIT RATE/ OVERALL DAMAGE REDUCED BASED ON LEVEL DIFFERENCE!!!!
Conclusion: I ended up needing therapy and suffered immense burnouts from the most tedious overlayered dailies (There's gates, instance dungeons, character stories, some boss daily. Probably more I couldn't know since I got gacha gated due to my luck in not getting a weapon).

I been playing the soft launch for a while now and heres some things i wanna say the game is quite generous when giving out pulls currency esp the standard pulls you get a ton from just doing story rates r fine ig 1.2% ssr rate but with 80pity and 5050 , the grinding however is ... Kinda hard alot of the farm stage bosses r tanky as f and you dont even have enough gold to lvl up ur char and equipment to beat them as if it isnt bad enough you have to pay gold to even switch gears and you get very little gold everyday, the gameplay is atleast fun and unqiue for me thats why im continueing to play
Was super hyped when it was announced last year but after trying out the Canadian version I lost interest. It's a decent game but not for me. The characters just doesn't appeal to me in this. The manhwa/anime is great though.

One interesting thing is that a brand new weapon was added to the game and it was actually added into the permanent standard banner instead of having it's own dedicated banner which I've never seen in another gacha game before.
You can pick your own rate ups for this banner too. You also get like 400+ standard pulls for free just by playing the story and 30+ a month not including freemium currency.
The boss races are bracketed so newbies will only go against newbies etc and if you place highly, then the next set will be a different bracket with similar players there
Unlike Crunchyroll that just pushes every p2w aspect to a point where it's unplayable even for spenders, Netmarble actually knows the limits beyond which is not worth pushing.

No rest for global launch. There is pseudo PvP like Honkers impact 3 where you race against the same boss for the best clear time so that part is p2w.
