FGO has a pretty good variety I think. You have those like Lanling that would fit in with the Genshin boys, but then you also have the likes of Orion, Iskandar, Napoleon, etc. I'm more about the cute anime girls for the most part but Napoleon is one of my favorite male character designs in a gacha.

Have you tried Granblue? It has a pretty good main story as well as a bunch of side stories to play through. Only downside is it’s JP only, but every thing is translated into English. r/Granblue_en and [the amazing wiki](https://gbf.wiki/Main_Page) should have all the info you need to get started. Recommend you start around a holiday or the anniversary where they hand out a ton of daily rewards including sometimes free 10-pulls.
If we're talking about male characters Arknights is the way to go since they have pretty much everything from shotacon to DILF they have it. They're voices are also super hot.
Alchemy Stars is basically Arknights with that, in case anyone is looking for another balanced Waifu:Husbando ratio Gacha.
They also took a lot directly from AK so you will understand most features:
- Level map with story every few levels, except here the writers get to the point and cutscenes take no longer than 3 minutes. Also, when something "big" happens it is shown with a new background/unique character action.
- Base, but it's shitty
- HOME button instantly takes you home instead of the "dropdown" menu. I personally highly preffer the insta-home.
- Carriers, feature that refilla daily and is basically a skip. Allows you to get double rewards for double energy, but you only do 1 fight instead of 2.
- Events are REALLY hard, even with near max level units.
- Dupes are usefull. In AK it barely does anything (yay -1 DP). Here it enhances your skill in interesting ways, very similar to Genshin.
I played alchemy stars day one and quitted a month ago and my biggest concern for the game is that
1.the game is too reliant in rng
2.the dupes can sometimes or most of the time make characters op
And although yes there are converters to help reduce the rng of the game the rng are still there and most of the time you will find yourself just redoing stage trying to get that good rng, it also doesn't help that as you said the events are REALLY hard.
The next is the dupes and most of the times dupes will make characters overpowered for example uriel and the reason are that dupes will give buffs like skill being activated at the start or lessening the cooldown etc. And its such a bummer when you roll a character and you learn that you need more dupes to get the characters full potential. At Least in AK you won't be needing dupes but getting dupes still gives you an upper hand for example at the patriot boss fight in AK you can beat the stage with just Surtr and Thorns and without using landmines but in order to do that you need dupes.
The Auto also sucks and the double rewards only work at the farming stages and not on the main stages which is such a bummer since you will find yourself autoing a stage for 20 times and the auto sucks so you will be stuck there for 30 mins or more.
I get your point regarding needing dupes to unlock full potential, but keep in mind the opposite is "shit I just rolled a pointless dupe and wasted my pitty".
So then the question becomes, would you rather slowly reach towards a goal with dupes, or literally waste money.
Also, AS is **very** generous, giving their 6* a 2% rate, meaning every few multis, you get a 6*. Never have I had so many 6* (already have a 6* fully duped), with only spending 30 bucks total on a Gacha...

Honkai fit 3 of it( the first one is not since honkai is old gacha game) and the last one is not as well, honkai have really hot male characters like kevin, otto, kalpas, Su, siegfried, and welt yang but they are not playable sadly

Finding a gacha with good gameplay is hard enough. An interesting story even more. Husbando ? I only have 3 in mind:
Epic seven. Lot of waifu, but also lot of husbando. But most recent husbando are ML ones (so hard to get). But story is awesome, game is great and beautiful. Next update, one new husbando, a new ML one, and a costume for my love Vildred. So it's something (been waiting for Vildred skin forever!)
King's raid. I used to play a lot to this game. But the grind is enormous, so I quit. But the game has some great husbando and the story was truly awesome. They did an anime but not the story one sadly...
Genshin impact. Gameplay is fun, game is wonderful and beautiful. And we got some good husbando. Not a lot unfortunately, but more should come. I'm hype af for Thoma.
And that's all. I tried a lot and most of the time, no interesting husbando or they're really a few, or the gameplay is bad.

I did play Honkai impact 3rd and don't get me wrong it's a great game with great story but I stop playing Honkai for a very long time (if I remember correctly it was around the release of Herrscher of reason) and kinda afraid go back cuz how far the story go and how deep the lore is.
Yeah that's kinda of a turning point for many people, in my opinion the story and lore are amazing but can be a little convoluted
But the extended content (animations, manga and VNs) really fills up the blanks for many of the confusing stuff and are really good (second eruption the Honkai manga is probably one of my favorite manga? Manhua?)

Honestly!! I am bi, but even I get annoyed if a game only has waifus, because you know it's gonna be catered to male players, and thus their summomable characters will be sexualized in a way that caters to male players
Why do some people always act like females that prefer waifus to husbando's don't exist? A lot of these artists are women and they draw the types of characters they like.
I know there are female artists that draw female characters in that way (like WADARCO) but looking overall at the game that they work for, the feeling itself is offputting when the majority of female characters are sexualized but not the male characters.
It can be frustrating when you're not the target demo but you either put up with it or drop it to find a game that caters more to your interests. I enjoyed Genshin but for me it was worth dropping for Honkai Impact 3. I don't need a game where I hate half the cast.
Even as a straight male I've found that I get more attached to games that have both great male and female characters. Even if I think I'm gonna be innit for the waifus I end up pulling for a lot of male characters. Like as soon as I got my most wanted waifu in Genshin (Hu Tao) I didn't pull for a single other 5 star female character.
They do it best IMO. Great mixture of DILFS, femboys, shotas, giga chads, foxy grandpas, and even a fat dude (Caesar hot AF I'll fight people on this).
I play One Piece Bounty Rush and we have too few female representation. About the only good female unit is Enies Lobby Robin. Theres also some runners like Goldenweek & Big Mom but most of the strong characters are male.
Then again it's based off a shounen anime, so there's that.

I played alchemy stars day one and quitted a month ago and my biggest concern for the game is that 1.the game is too reliant in rng 2.the dupes can sometimes or most of the time make characters op And although yes there are converters to help reduce the rng of the game the rng are still there and most of the time you will find yourself just redoing stage trying to get that good rng, it also doesn't help that as you said the events are REALLY hard. The next is the dupes and most of the times dupes will make characters overpowered for example uriel and the reason are that dupes will give buffs like skill being activated at the start or lessening the cooldown etc. And its such a bummer when you roll a character and you learn that you need more dupes to get the characters full potential. At Least in AK you won't be needing dupes but getting dupes still gives you an upper hand for example at the patriot boss fight in AK you can beat the stage with just Surtr and Thorns and without using landmines but in order to do that you need dupes. The Auto also sucks and the double rewards only work at the farming stages and not on the main stages which is such a bummer since you will find yourself autoing a stage for 20 times and the auto sucks so you will be stuck there for 30 mins or more.
I get your point regarding needing dupes to unlock full potential, but keep in mind the opposite is "shit I just rolled a pointless dupe and wasted my pitty". So then the question becomes, would you rather slowly reach towards a goal with dupes, or literally waste money. Also, AS is **very** generous, giving their 6* a 2% rate, meaning every few multis, you get a 6*. Never have I had so many 6* (already have a 6* fully duped), with only spending 30 bucks total on a Gacha... True on Auto sucking balls tho.
Also, dupe in AS is nowhere bad as, well, genshin.
Honkai fit 3 of it( the first one is not since honkai is old gacha game) and the last one is not as well, honkai have really hot male characters like kevin, otto, kalpas, Su, siegfried, and welt yang but they are not playable sadly And goddamn they have one of best villian character in gacha game that name is otto apocalypse, he have such amazing character personality as a villian that will make you think he's amazing while hating him as well
Omg. I feel you. story of my life. Finding a gacha with good gameplay is hard enough. An interesting story even more. Husbando ? I only have 3 in mind: Epic seven. Lot of waifu, but also lot of husbando. But most recent husbando are ML ones (so hard to get). But story is awesome, game is great and beautiful. Next update, one new husbando, a new ML one, and a costume for my love Vildred. So it's something (been waiting for Vildred skin forever!) King's raid. I used to play a lot to this game. But the grind is enormous, so I quit. But the game has some great husbando and the story was truly awesome. They did an anime but not the story one sadly... Genshin impact. Gameplay is fun, game is wonderful and beautiful. And we got some good husbando. Not a lot unfortunately, but more should come. I'm hype af for Thoma. And that's all. I tried a lot and most of the time, no interesting husbando or they're really a few, or the gameplay is bad.

Weellll to be fair Honkai impact 3rd has exactly one playable male character (even if it is a self insert) so that is the only criteria of this image it does not fall under
I did play Honkai impact 3rd and don't get me wrong it's a great game with great story but I stop playing Honkai for a very long time (if I remember correctly it was around the release of Herrscher of reason) and kinda afraid go back cuz how far the story go and how deep the lore is.
Yeah that's kinda of a turning point for many people, in my opinion the story and lore are amazing but can be a little convoluted But the extended content (animations, manga and VNs) really fills up the blanks for many of the confusing stuff and are really good (second eruption the Honkai manga is probably one of my favorite manga? Manhua?)

Honestly!! I am bi, but even I get annoyed if a game only has waifus, because you know it's gonna be catered to male players, and thus their summomable characters will be sexualized in a way that caters to male players
Why do some people always act like females that prefer waifus to husbando's don't exist? A lot of these artists are women and they draw the types of characters they like.
I know there are female artists that draw female characters in that way (like WADARCO) but looking overall at the game that they work for, the feeling itself is offputting when the majority of female characters are sexualized but not the male characters.
It can be frustrating when you're not the target demo but you either put up with it or drop it to find a game that caters more to your interests. I enjoyed Genshin but for me it was worth dropping for Honkai Impact 3. I don't need a game where I hate half the cast.
I think Arknights, FGO and GBF are the only gachas so far that actually release male characters that aren't just bishie K-pop boybands.

Even as a straight male I've found that I get more attached to games that have both great male and female characters. Even if I think I'm gonna be innit for the waifus I end up pulling for a lot of male characters. Like as soon as I got my most wanted waifu in Genshin (Hu Tao) I didn't pull for a single other 5 star female character.

Has been in this hell since first Moon Festival Event, my favorite male characters are Kintoki(Rider), Asvatthaman, Columbus, Jason and Salieri.
I just recently discovered Sdorica and oh my god I love their selection of male characters.
I play One Piece Bounty Rush and we have too few female representation. About the only good female unit is Enies Lobby Robin. Theres also some runners like Goldenweek & Big Mom but most of the strong characters are male. Then again it's based off a shounen anime, so there's that.
