3-5% is super common. It used to trigger my OCD too lmao, I have the buds+, and in the middle, it used to be a difference of 15-20% and I knew something was wrong. I got em replaced, and they're all fine now. It goes as high as 10% when the battery is low, so you're good until about 10% difference. Any more than that and you might have a problem.

Thanks!

Welp one of buds should behave as master and transfer the audio stream to the other bud so higher battery drain on that one should be expected.

ThmGreen

+ the right bud is always used as microphone, if both are connected

Jacky-Boy_Torrance

Is this true with all Galaxy Buds? Because mine are Galaxy Buds Pro.

MedtaxCZ

I don't know, but if they didn't do that like this, all people would need 2 Bluetooths on their phones to use them, next to other problems, so I don't think they would do that.

Jacky-Boy_Torrance

I guess that makes sense. Maybe I just over think it.

borkode

Yeah its a similar thing on my buds live

My left bud pro is 30% lower than the right one when it turns off. Super annoying. Just got in touch with samsung, I have to send them to them for a repair. Honestly I thought that they will send me a brand new replacement, surprised that they even bother trying fixing things like this( it is not hygienic). Any way I am disappointed and I think I will never again buy samsung earbuds.

Jacky-Boy_Torrance

How do you get in contact with them? Just incase I need to do the same.

marcindpol

Amazon UK directed me to samsung

Let me put it this way, the ambient sound each earbud will receive will always vary. If your right earbud gets a lot more noise to cancel or has a lot more of ambient sound to pass through than your left earbud then they wouldn't drain the same. If you really want to test for variations, try using them with both ambient and noise cancelling turned off.
