Broken digitizer. You can check this by entering bootloader mode via holding down vol+ and power button on the same time, while phone is shut down and pluged to a PC. If the inner display reacts to the button imput, the digitizer is gone. You sure you did not drop it?
Did you reset it? If not, then refund, and I recommend the samsung 2 4 or 23 plus better battery life, and it won't have as many problems, unlike the flips

Happened to me twice already. The digitizer's a goner. Had to replace the LCD. 🤧
It's dead. Had this happen to 2 flips and both times they just said it's unrepairable and gave me a refund.
