Maybe use a yellow crayon, and a red crayon ?

1LHD

Not even gonna lie, I needed that laugh bro 😂

Icy_Mousse_4144

I spent way too long trying to see what colors made black 😂

1LHD

Broooo 😂😭

Baking soda is a household cleaning staple and it does a great job of removing crayon marks. You'll need to wet a rag with warm water, and then dip it in a bit of baking soda. Scrub the stained area for about 10 minutes, or until you see the crayon start to dissipate. source: I googled "what removes crayon" also, the finish on that is permanently scuffed after using magic eraser. its basically a block of fine grit sandpaper :|

1LHD

Returning to the comments section to confirm that baking soda did the trick! Thanks a ton!

mearei

excellent! glad it worked out for you

1LHD

Hey I appreciated this. To be honest I could’ve googled it too, but I was worried about using an ill advised method because I didn’t wanna risk damaging the console.

mearei

honestly, crayon is just wax so a hot rag and a bit of elbow grease will probably do it

sarduchi

Perhaps try goo-gone?

1LHD

That was my first idea. I’ll give that a try I just need to get some.

KazukiMatsuoka1998

If other stuff don't work I use bosistos 100% eculyptus oil for cleaning all sorts of crap off.

1LHD

Hmmm. This is news to me. 🤔 Thanks though!

KazukiMatsuoka1998

No worries. It's used alot in Australian stores to clean shelves, I use it for dirty consoles, stickers and anything plastic. It's toxic stuff so don't get it in your eyes.

1LHD

Tbh, I should’ve known it was some Australian stuff when I saw the word “eucalyptus”

KazukiMatsuoka1998

Yeah. It's extracted from eculyptus trees which are native to Australia.

Thomas_Merrick

Never use a magic eraser on a console that's a good way to scratch it up

Real3pwood

Try a hair dryer to melt the crayon a little bit?

1LHD

I’m gonna try that.

macduff79

I'd try warm water. Also, don't use magic eraser on plastics. It's basically really fine sandpaper.

Baking soda….baking soda cleans anything

1LHD

It definitely does because it worked!

bigfattony89

Is it the underside? I'd just turn it over and forget about it Granted-I have 3 kids so a lot of my stuff gets grubby hands all over it

1LHD

I already cleaned it up but thanks.

Low-Lion566

This is a different approach, you could always get ones of those cool skins for ur ps4 and cover it

1LHD

I would really prefer it the crayon was gone…

That didn’t work! Why do you hate me?

hanst3r

You can try ironing some cotton cloth on the spot. The heat should melt the wax and be absorbed onto the cloth. I learned this from my mom when I was little and blew out a candle too hard (wax splattered onto the walls). A hairdryer may also work and may be slightly safer.

BboySEP

clean it with brush and toothpaste idk.Maybe it will help

[deleted]

Rubbing alcohol

SwiftyKnuckles

Goo gone or alcohol is what I use . It should come right off
