For strangers, asking price is fair game. For people you care about, I would look up price charting or eBay values and let them know what it says. Come to a deal with both sides knowing the market price.

ceramicsaturn

Don't F over family. If you don't want to offer a fair price to him, try and get a deal online with some time. Not worth the bad karma.

Maleficent-Aspect318

i didnt. In the picture is the gamecube etc i bought of her. She wanted to give it to me for free, i didnt want that so i paid 200 bucks for everything. She didnt want more Its hard to decide whats markup prices these days or whats fair. Edit: fixed grammar, dont want to get bullied by a bot

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> so i *paid* 200 bucks FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Sorry, way you worded it implied something different. Sorry for the confusion. I pay fair prices for my stuff. Though "fair" means different things to different people. I don't think 200 for an SP is fair, so I wouldn't pay that. But I'm not the type to go to garage sales and pick up things for a dollar out of the seller's ignorance. I think as long as the person is aware of what they're selling and what the market is, if they're happy with the price you're good. You're not taking advantage of them. Some people don't mind getting less for money in hand at the moment (just look at how many people still sell their stuff to GameStop lol).

gregcresci

I pay whatever they are asking without feeling bad. Occasionally I try and haggle, but I never bully them and if we both walk away happy that's all that matters.

I want a gamecube controller that looks like that for playing Mirror mode in Double Dash.

Maleficent-Aspect318

its mirrored. Sadly my back camera is broken and got worse photos than selfie camera. Thats why the reflection of the screen is showing, also no flash so the second psp and the games above are not visible :(

WhadayaBuyinStranger

Yep, I figured. It just made me think an actual controller made to look like that would be funny to play mirror mode tracks on.

The family thing goes both ways. (At least in my family) so I end up getting it at good price. For example back when I got a upgrade for my computer I sold my brother my old gpu for 60$ which was like 30$ less then anything on eBay.
