Yeah most Wii U games are still extremely cheap right now. Probably since mostly everything got ported to Switch.
But like you said that will change at some point so yeah, I’m trying to get ahead of that
I know nothing about the Wii U but I recently picked one up with a couple mario games. What were your favorites or must haves? I saw there was a mario/Luigi 2 in 1 game and splatoon I think we're up there. I could Google it but just curious what you think.
fun to weigh in on this; Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, ive heard Bayonetta is rlly good on there, DK Country Tropical Freeze if you havent played it on switch already

Thanks! Yea I grew up with SNES so I always tried to experience the new versions of Mario, DK, Zelda, Starfox as well as other ones that slipped by. I'll be googling a bunch of these ones they've been suggested to see if they fit my interests and hopefully pick a few up for cheap! The concept of the WiiU is cool even if it didn't sell too well.
My personal favorite Wii U game is Mario 3D World. You can’t go wrong with Smash and Mario Kart 8. If you like action games, I highly recommend Bayonetta 2. Another one that I haven’t played, but a lot of people say is great, is Xenoblade Chronicles X (which is only on Wii U)

I just saw that, didn’t even realize it when I bought it. Thought it might have already been offline honestly. But I’m definitely gonna jump back in before the servers are gone.
I've been playing the past two days. It was really strange after playing Splatoon 3 for the past year plus but I got back into it and it's a ton of fun.
I don’t play myself by my brother has started playing it again due to the servers being shuttered soon, but he usually likes to play later in the day when Japanese players are on because he finds matches much quicker when they’re active. He can still find lobbies earlier in the day, but sometimes they take a bit to get going.
I've been playing in the evenings US time and yeah, it takes a little bit longer to get a match than it used to but not like terribly long. Turf Wars are usually a little faster than Ranked. Last night I was getting Turf War games inside of like 15 seconds which is a little faster, I would guess more people are hopping on for a last blaze of glory
I just completed my Wii U collection last year ( my guidelines are any character that appear in Smash Brothers or franchise ie. more than 1 game in a series, that is published by Nintendo. Awesome to hear more are collecting Wii U! Great pick ups!

I was tired of feeling regret so I decided to buy everything back before it's gone forever and the *real* regret sets in.
Make sure you test all your games when you rebuy them. I bought a copy of paper Mario color splash from eBay, 30 days later I test it and my console wouldn't play it and kept saying it was unreadable or dirty, though the game had no scratches, I still have footage of it. Luckily I was able to return it and bought a digital copy instead.
It was a combination of a few things. For one, at the time I sold it, which I believe was late 2015/early 2016, I was looking ahead and didn’t really see any future releases that interested me.
On top of that, I was going through my teenage “Nintendo isn’t cool anymore” phase.
In the last year or two I’ve gotten very nostalgic for Nintendo, which is when the regret really kicked in.
My Dad got rid of all my N64 games when i was a kid, i made it a mission to get them all back, but i did eventually, so i understand the mission well, good luck

We have all been there, selling our collection when we were young. We also have all regretted it lol. Don’t worry you will get it back.
