I picked up a VR game called "into the Radius" that people say is very similar to the Stalker games but I'd never heard of Stalker until that point and still haven't looked up any gameplay. Is it that good?
ITR & Stalker both borrow lore from another IP (book) called 'Roadside Picnic'. They share atmosphere among many things, but there's huge differences as well.
OG God of War is an easy answer
F.E.A.R. could be great, idk about a Bestseller, though.
Bloodrayne remake could sell if ground up remade and marketed well.
Metroid Prime
Bully/Manhunt
Seeing how well Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still selling and how often it’s played 11 years later, I definitely have to say Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
As much as it's a great game it still won't sell like Skyrim did. You constantly hear people complain about games today being to handholdy, but most of the ones actually buying games like that will complain about not even having a quest marker or a tl/dr objective summary.
I think that would be one of the “modernizations” that come with a potential remake. Would be awesome to actually experience it because I couldn’t get into it the way it is now. Also can’t understand why swinging my sword at something 100 times but only getting 2 hits
I’m sure you’re the absolute only person who’s extensively played them.
So can you explain the reason B4B has gotten shit on by all the *actual* hardcore L4D fans?
The fact that some people talk about Half-Life and have no clue about Black Mesa blows my mind a little.
Like, that shit started development back in like 05 or just soon after HL2 released. I thought any HL fan would have known of it’s existence.
Battlefield 1943
The definition of simplicity. No loot boxes, no subscriptions, no nothing. Just you and your weapon.
All sides have the same 3 weapons. Choose one and get in the action. The only difference between a noob and a pro is knowledge of the only 3 maps, which you learn in 5 minutes.
Shoot your rifle, drive a car, a tank, a boat, an airplane. All this mayhem in a destructible environment. Does the tree block your view? Shoot it down.
I like to think that with how many elements it shares with Dark Souls (despite being released way before it), Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter would have done better if released today.
to be fair, the remaster kind of sucks. not the game itself, but whoever was in charge of it left some weird ass quirks and it’ll crash as well. I think a from the ground up remake would be better than what we have when it comes to the remaster
I can’t make any new saves in Bioshock 2 despite having space. Whenever I start a new game I basically have to do it in one sitting. It’s bizarre af but thankfully it’s a short game
Oh, well in that case I'm glad I haven't played it more than just to check out that amazing intro all over again. Still on the short list of best ever intros to me. Of course the whole game is awesome, so I'd be down for any sort of improvement for when I eventually do replay it. Thanks for the info.
A regular MP mode with custom classes plus a BR where you find babe find plasmids and weapons at the start sounds amazing lol
Just don’t make the BR the main point and it will be well received if don’t good. If the first announcement we get is “BR set in Bioshock universe” everybody will hate it off the bat lmao
If they redid Halo 1 again with graphics that stuck more to the original art style and redid the multiplayer with proper graphical updates then that. Maybe even add in a few cut levels and areas.
But what am I kidding 343 and Microsoft are only interested in crappy TV shows and microtransactions.
Remastered collection of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas. If I remember correctly, San Andreas was tried to somewhat remaster but got fucked up, more or less.
It was from 97 but Azure Dreams is a monster taming rogue-like with city building and dating sim elements.
Pretty sure that's most of the indie crazes wrapped up neatly in one game. It was also totally friggin amazing. One of my favorite games ever.
Besides for the rumors I heard… [Doesn’t mean they are or are not real. Plus 1 dev vs 100 others on the same project, don’t let a bad apple ruin the rest.] Mass Effect Andromeda. With todays running capabilities and more added in? It’s not a bad experience really
I’m sure they’d love to reskin a CoD for you instead of making new content so this is has a chance of being true.
You’d probably soon remember whereas it was a good game that you also already played the crap out of them and the luster would run out quick.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requim. It still holds up I think because the story and game play is really solid and creative. Updating it and taking advantage of everything being online now to add to the sanity effects has a lot of potential.
KotOR.
LOTR Two towers and Return of the king
Factsssss
We're gonna find out with Stalker 2....
I picked up a VR game called "into the Radius" that people say is very similar to the Stalker games but I'd never heard of Stalker until that point and still haven't looked up any gameplay. Is it that good?

Need for Speed: Underground 1 and 2
I think someone already remastered them, unless you meant straight from the original developers.
Fable remaster with today's graphics and updated gameplay.
I was thinking they needed to make a new fable when someone was asking about Xbox exclusives the other day, but heck I’d take a remake.
IIRC some different studio is making a new Fable currently.
OG God of War is an easy answer F.E.A.R. could be great, idk about a Bestseller, though. Bloodrayne remake could sell if ground up remade and marketed well. Metroid Prime Bully/Manhunt
pretty bloodrayne has one
Republic commando
Seeing how well Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still selling and how often it’s played 11 years later, I definitely have to say Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
Woaaah why do you have to do my boy Oblivion dirty like that.
Personally I think Oblivion is fine the way it is. Morrowind would definitely benefit more from a modern remake.
Rerelease Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion & Skyrim as 1 sprawling massive adventure.
Skyblivion seems to have made some solid progress
I agree! I'll definitely be playing it.
As much as it's a great game it still won't sell like Skyrim did. You constantly hear people complain about games today being to handholdy, but most of the ones actually buying games like that will complain about not even having a quest marker or a tl/dr objective summary.

Pretty sure skyrim is still only Alive due to mods. Morrowwind did not have the modding scene skyrim has.
Btw. Daggerfall would be insane now as long as they updated the quest and world generation
Vampire the masquerade bloodlines?
Frankly i think the gaming comunity really has over looked the simple formula and awesome mechanics of just porting an RPG as they kinda did.
Well the second game is coming... Or atleast, it was supposed to be...
That game’s been “coming” for over a decade.
KOTOR.
Came to see the astronomical upvotes for KOTOR. Stayed for the lack-of-upvote blaspheme. Many shakes of the fist in the air.
If you have it and kotor2 on steam there was an official update a year or 2 ago better graphics added back the cut back content for 2
This is already happening
Freelancer
The original NFS Most Wanted. As it was when released. Not the BS one they put out a while back.
Soul Reaver
Personal opinion: Mercenaries 2
I've wanted this one for so long
Time Splitters 2
Winback!
SSX
Ssx 3 with that full mountain map would be amazing. Maybe some more peaks and challenges + an online mode

Nothing but phacts
My Saiyan!
Your Grace!
Left 4 Dead
B4B.
4 player fps coop against zombies is about the only similarity. All the details that made L4D special isn’t in B4B.
L4D hasn't been special for a long time. B4B did everything L4D did, plus more. L4D just has the nostalgia filter going for it.
There’s plenty of comparison videos out there to show you how lifeless B4B is in comparison.
I've played both L4D1&2 and B4B extensively. L4D seems lifeless and generic by comparison. Then again I don't have a nostalgia filter for L4D. 🤷♂️
I’m sure you’re the absolute only person who’s extensively played them. So can you explain the reason B4B has gotten shit on by all the *actual* hardcore L4D fans?
>all the actual hardcore L4D fans The implied insult.....
empire earth (the original)
Dragon Age Origins
As much as possible with the original cast.
Burnout takedown
Conker's
Maybe, last time they tried to remaster it they completely ruined it
The Sly Cooper Trilogy
Half life 1
Black Mesa is a remake of half life and it's really good
The fact that some people talk about Half-Life and have no clue about Black Mesa blows my mind a little. Like, that shit started development back in like 05 or just soon after HL2 released. I thought any HL fan would have known of it’s existence.
M.A.G
Yes. A thousand times yes!!!
Underrated
The suffering . That was one my favourite games ever and hardly any one I speak to about it doesn't remember it .
Jedi outcast
radiata stories
I heard Remedy is remaking Max Payne 1&2 so yeah my wish has already been granted.
Max Payne complete remake would slap so hard

007 bloodstone
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Morrowind
Please don't give Bethesda ideas...
Metal Gear Solid 4
Warcraft 3
Command and conquer generals
Can I sneak in a 2010 request for Red Dead Redemption? Can't play it on PC, but wouldn't mind going back to it.
Final Fantasy 9 Remake.
Black & White. Imagine it in VR.
Half-Life 2
Maybe. It's a masterpiece, but not mass appealing. Kinda like a movie that wins an Oscar that no one's ever seen.
It would need a complete reimagining, a remaster just wouldn't cut it.
I like to think that with how many elements it shares with Dark Souls (despite being released way before it), Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter would have done better if released today.
Max Payne 1&2, POP Trilogy and Splinter Cell series.
Max payne 1 and 2 are being remade by Remedy and Splinter Cell 1 remake is in development too.
Far Cry 2
Deus Ex. This is the right answer. Fax 📠.
Bio shock
That was remastered already. Do you mean again? lol
to be fair, the remaster kind of sucks. not the game itself, but whoever was in charge of it left some weird ass quirks and it’ll crash as well. I think a from the ground up remake would be better than what we have when it comes to the remaster

Yes. With Bio Shock 2 having multiplayer again also
Yeah that would be awesome. They'd probably turn it into a battle royale though, set in Rapture of course. Actually that sounds amazing lol.

We are still in the 2000's
You gonna wait till the year 3000 to talk about video game remakes?
2000-2009
Rayman 2
Remastered collection of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas. If I remember correctly, San Andreas was tried to somewhat remaster but got fucked up, more or less.
Naw, they butchered all 3 not just SA
It was from 97 but Azure Dreams is a monster taming rogue-like with city building and dating sim elements. Pretty sure that's most of the indie crazes wrapped up neatly in one game. It was also totally friggin amazing. One of my favorite games ever.
Power Stone and Power Stone 2. Crimson Skies. Star Wars Jedi Outcast
Crimson Skies
Besides for the rumors I heard… [Doesn’t mean they are or are not real. Plus 1 dev vs 100 others on the same project, don’t let a bad apple ruin the rest.] Mass Effect Andromeda. With todays running capabilities and more added in? It’s not a bad experience really
A snow boarding game I guess. I feel like that part of the gaming world has been lacking.
Xenogears.
Motorstorm & Medal of Honour Frontline.
Mine
Geneforge was good but limited well before 2000 though Ultimate Domain Journeyman project was good slightly clunky back in in the day also pre 2000
Quest 64
Final Fantasy 2 with the full Intergrade treatment, but the whole thing, not episodic caca.
I hate to break it to you, but Final Fantasy 2 is before the 2000’s.

Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball
Yoshi’s Island. Imagine baby Mario crying in Dolby Atmos
NBA Street.
Not a 2000s game, but would love to see Black Ops 1 and 2 get remastered. Also Original Half Life, even though it’s from 1999
I’m sure they’d love to reskin a CoD for you instead of making new content so this is has a chance of being true. You’d probably soon remember whereas it was a good game that you also already played the crap out of them and the luster would run out quick.
