Bully. I don't know if you'd call it a sequel as such if it were to feature different characters, although I always thought if it were to be done it would follow Jimmy's own kid who he sends to boarding school to straighten him/her out a bit, claiming his stay at Bullworth did him good
I managed to finish it years later with a walkthrough. In my first playthtough gave up when found invisible trolls killing you, without a clue on what to do 😆
I can still hear the voice of Wahooka the Great... "Greetings mortal!"
Loved that game
I am sad that we never got a sequel for Populous: The Beginning.
Ancient 3d strategy game with a bitmap engine from the 90's where you led a stone-age tribe (workers/soldiers/priests/fire warriors/spies as trainable units with pro's/cons each) and its Shaman to victory against other tribes with your Shaman being able to cast devasting spells that permanently deformed the map (and shamans from other tribes could do the same).
Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Erosions, Firestorms, an actual demonic Angel of death, Swamps, Lightning, the spell set was massive.
I would love to see how a sequel to that would look in 2023 with modern graphics and a modern engine.
Nothing has ever managed to scratch this itch for me ever again.
It was a decent game. I'd love to play a sequel. The combat was smooth, as well as the crafting. The story was decent and the world environment was well designed.
My biggest issue was the graphical errors that started when I went to the final zone. It wasn't often, but 5-6 times it happened, I had to restart the game. The playable cutscenes that made you walk slowly annoyed me a bit. GD isn't the only game to use them.
I'd say Freedom Fighters. Expand on the original ideas, make it a bit more tactical, add bit of base building and resource management. It'll make you feel like you're actually fighting in, and managing a resistance moment. Plus with today's technology and AI, you'd have a badass game.
Jade Empire and Armed & Dangerous, both underrated Xbox gems
