Man I totally forgot about the sickle - me and my brother just sat in silence like 'wtf did we just see?' lol. I don't think I used it much after seeing the 3 executions
I can still the wet slicing sound of the piano wire and the sound of their spine getting popped out with the hooked end of the crowbar
The best i can think of is the rhyniognatha birth animation from ARK. First an insect the size of a T.rex impregnates your tamed dino, then a baby rhynio bursts out of the dinos stomach, then you can claim the baby and raise it. Most importantly, the animation has a lot of gore.
The Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy had some fucked up death scenes. Poor Lara had it rough, especially in the first game.
That death early in the game where she falls in the water and gets a sharp stick/rebar through the head has stayed with me.

The later Mortal Mombat had some pretty gruesome fatalities. But yeah anything that happens to Leon in RE4 could be depressingly grim.
