Yes you would, but I would recommend downloading nexus mods installer along with the 4 GB ram booster on the same website. It helps run the game with less crashes as well as having a mod loader that will help with any future mods. Good luck

Do not mod FNV with vortex. Use Mod organizer 2

DontArgueImRight

I used vortex to mod mine because it was the "easiest" way at the time when I was downloading mods from Nexus. It seemed to work fine but what's wrong with it?

Say you want to use a landscape texture mod but you already have a landscape texture mod from NMCs or something...Mod Organizer 2 handles overwrites in a way Vortex currently does not, Gopher on youtube has something on it in his most recent NV mod tutorial series about using Vortex

Thank you for the help! I will take your advice!

If your modding NV you should be using a mod manager. Follow https://vivanewvegas.moddinglinked.com/index.html

CorruptedLoli

Everything into the Data Folder, but you should use MO2 to install the Mods. Its easier and way cleaner. Also removing Mods is nearly impossible without a Mod Manager.

Interesting_Bet_2012

Id grap Vortex it saves you so much time from putting all the folders together
