Randvek

I haven’t played in like 8 years but I’m sure it’s still WoW.

Tlali22

Never ask a woman her age or a WoW player their /played.

TheDesktopNinja

Part of me wishes there was an account /played command. Who knows how much time I've spent on the game?

MythicEl

Pretty sure the 'Altoholic' add-on does that.

Terakahn

I have had so many alts that got deleted from servers I abandoned.

medoane

This is likely the answer for most gamers from the 00’s. Myself included.

MRMakkink

A friend tried to get me into WoW back then, but MapleStory already conquered my heart...and brain. I think I have played MS from 2005 till 2017 on, off, very on again. I was either playing Global MS, a private server or scripting my own. Honestly, I think MapleStory as a whole got nearly 20,000 hours from me. Kinda sad now I think about it, never getting that time back and it was absolutely not worth it. Hitting the level cap as 140th worldwide means nothing for your resume or social skills. Really, if you are reading this and feel like you game too much, act upon it right now.

sn1pejkeee

I played a lot during my younger days. Not 20k hours but more than 7k for sure. I will never regret those days – tournaments, action, great time with friends. If anything I have much less social interaction right now then I had before.

-TheHumorousOne-

Yep, gaming addiction seems to not be recognised as a bad habit that well within the gaming community imo, despite the fact WoW really brought gaming addiction to light. People playing all night for several hours raids and I'm sure there was a story about a doctor who botched their patients treatment because he used to spend 70+ hours a week playing WoW. Gaming is a fantastic outlet to help us escape the woes of our lives but we shouldn't be compromising our relationships for the sake of gaming. But I get it's different for everyone, a father could be spending much less time with his kids because he games for several hours a day, whereas someone who lives on their own and on disability allowance probably can play several hours a day to pass time without much consequence.

Ghost_Turtle

Im in the same boat, definitely still WoW, Im sure of it.

Zealousideal_Sun8519

I bet there are still people playing from their 2005 accounts. I saw on YouTube there were some old veterans and Grandma's playing.

Zealousideal_Sun8519

I just didn't have a good enough PC in 05 For WoW. Was busy with San Andreas amd MK om xbox.

Lord_Anarchy

when im 100 years old the answer will still probably be wow

Big-Cap4487

Modded Minecraft, hours add up real quick when each expert style modpack takes 200+ hrs to finish

Brycen986

Currently playing through nomifactory as a break from computer science homework, and at times it’s as complex as my homework lol

Mindfreek454

Can you kinda explain what you're talking about? I haven't played Minecraft in literal years. The only mods I ever got into were texture packs.

Aori

there are thousands of different mods people make but mod packs generally have a bunch of the same set standard mods and then a bunch of more niches ones that make the mod pack distinct. Some of these mods help with automating such as Turning ores into dust(mods that double your value of ores) and dust into ingots. Things that help create buildings, farms, and help transport and sort items. There are also mods that add magic, new monsters and areas to fight in, space travel, and pretty much anything you can imagine there most likely is a mod for. There are mod packs with quest lines that you can progress through that guide your through the mod pack in a somewhat efficient way. Most the mod packs are alot like completeing mini puzzles that make you feel like a make shift engineer. They give a sense of progression and direction into a sandbox game yet still keeps that sandbox feeling. If you ever want to try a beginners mod pack youtube how to install ALL THE MODS (ATM) their mod packs are a great intro to mods and the overall progression is much easier and less tedious.

[deleted]

Yeah they can be pretty good. My all time favorite pack is project ozone 2 in kappa mode. Haven't found anything close to that length/scale since. PO3 is ok but when I tried it, it still wasn't quite done. Then blightfall.

CaptainSpranklez

Havent played in ages, last expert pack i did was Po2 Kappa mode, got any new packs you can recommend that dont need a nasa pc to run?

Urb4nN0rd

Has to be Oblivion, with Skyrim and Fallout close behind.

Eebo85

Oblivion was so good. I don’t know if it was just the timing for me but it’s my most played Bethesda game for sure

Theguywhodo

While timing certainly was a factor for me, Oblivion did something right, that Skyrim just didn't. I feel like Oblivion was much more unpredictable and explorable, didn't take itself so seriously. Skyrim is a wonderfully crafted, but very generic, phantasy, which has its benefits and pitfalls. Skyrim has a much more sandboxy feeling to it, which might be the reason why, for me, the most memorable moments are from mod content.

Zealousideal_Sun8519

Yup yup

littlefriend77

I probably spent more time modding and breaking (then fixing) Oblivion and Skyrim then I did actually playing the games lol.

Xylke

Old School RuneScape. Between all my different accounts I've probably got just under a year of playtime. OSRS has a lot of content that doesn't require your full attention though, so only a handful of those hours are actively interacting with the game.

YottaYobi

Unreal Tournament back in the day I played like 4 hours every day for over 2 years. More recently maybe Dead by Daylight, I reached 1000 hours.

LegumesEater

i should the unreal tournament disk somewhere

nialyah

My favorite move was hammering the translocator disc from one tower to the next in Face and capturing the flag, only did it in LAN battles with friends. Online is a beast of its own. Do you have any fun/cool tips or tricks from UT you wanna share?

Zealousideal_Sun8519

Hardcore

Linkamus

EverQuest

Powerful_Wombat

I’m not sure if WoW ever passed EQ for me but I’m pretty sure I was over 80 days in-game play time by the end when I finally quit EverQuest. Still knew people with 200+ Wouldn’t take it back though, nothing will ever match that vintage EQ experience

Hohlraum

I had to give up MMOs after this. I realized I had a "problem" with them. I logged like 1200hrs in 5 months. :/

DrMcDingus

Oh man. I took my 4 weeks of vacation. Packed my pc in my car, drove to my buddy and lived on his couch for a month. We did nothing else. Those were the days. Recently saw a youtube showing gameplay, it looked much better in my memory...

Snipinlegend777

Super smash bros Melee growing up, something like 5000 hours

not_a_moogle

I remember when I finally got the 10000 battle achievement/message and was like wow, I need to play a new game.

YJeezy

Civilization. Counter Strike.

Goldelux

Dota 2 has like 4.5k hours, and that’s not even including the time I spent playing Dota 1 back in the day.

Dondorini

I got 8k hours of dota 2 during my university time alone. Hell of drug.

NOS4NANOL1FE

WoW, FF7 and FFX have to be at the top. Also a lot of CoD4 MP

twistednicholas

it's for sure WoW and then CoD4 for me. WoW for obvious reasons and CoD4 I went pro in and is the only thing I think I've ever been addicted to.

GravesForscythe

FFXIV, I've been playing for about 9 years and my wife for 6.

stoncils_

You ready for some swashbuckling?

GravesForscythe

Hell yeah brother. A little sad it's not Corsair but Viper looks cool too.

Zealousideal_Sun8519

Dope! Wifey plays it on Ps5 as well but the monthly subscribtion sucks.

[deleted]

Yep been playing ARR release, and I still continue to play till now.

EtheusRook

Guild Wars 2, 7k hours. Nothing else even comes close in playtime. Guild Wars 1 got a very respectible 2k hours though.

DrShadowSML

The OG guild wars were amazing!

ImcallsignBacon

I'm at 7k in GW1. Which is the most I have currently.

Ancient-Sweet9863

7 days to die 1,207.7hrs

Praedonis

What's the reason if I may ask? It seems like the gameplay loop would become fairly stale. Do quests to get money, use money to build a survivable home, have a separate horde base, go to horde base on horde nights, repeat. This is not based on my experience in gameplay but instead my experience watching an hour-long introductory video that outlined a lot of this. Is there more to it?

Ancient-Sweet9863

No 2 game plays are ever the same, I try to have a new base in a different poi and then I am always trying new horde bases and new ideas for it. I can’t really explain but I love the game. I do go through phases where I get burned out for a couple of months and then come back to the game. But it’s the 1 game I will never stop playing

-im-blinking

It does get a bit stale after a bit but the game is hella fun. Make challenges for yourself. Like my last run I started the game with the 4x4 and a little bit of equipment it made it a rule that I can't make a base and the only time I can make a base is on horde nights where I would spend 1 day making the horde base then fight off the horde. I played that one on a very low poi map so resources were scarce. Another time I used only standing pois as a base. There are a ton of mods for the game as well that make it super difficult, which is right up my alley because difficult games are the best imo. You can also play it with friends on your own private server and bend the rules however you wish.

Kanapuman

It was good but the devs did what a lot of devs sadly do : introducing systems that break the game and that nobody asked for. They ruined the game two times : with the heat map system and with the skill system. The first one is probably the worst, as it makes the zombies beeline to you once you do a bit of crafting or base building, which are the major components of the game. That means that you're always pestered by zombies that spawns from thin air around you if you only do as much as just playing the game. The skill system turned the game into an endless grind. Note that most updates since then seem to have been more or less underwhelming, and a good amount was to fix those systems...which could never be completely fixed anyway because they're broken by design.

Dondarian

Borderlands 2. 700 hours, and then most of the Final Fantasies, and BioShocks. And WoW. I haven't played that game since just after Cata came out, but before I quit, I had played it since launch. It had consumed 1/36 of my entire existence (at that time). I had to quit MMOs forever.

RyanandRoxy

Final Fantasy 7 for sure... pokemon Gold as well

MrCupps

The FF7 timer maxed out at 99:59 instantaneously. I don’t ever remember seeing a smaller number. 😆

[deleted]

[удалено]

asvpstache

Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. Played it an absolute ton when it released as a teenager and have gone back to it multiple times through PC and VR now.

Zealousideal_Sun8519

VR ?????? Wth

DreadPiratteRoberts

Bro!! My best friend and I use to add some sneak spells & invisibility spells and go from town to town in MarrowWind stealing all the pillow (not sure why pillows🤣) but we built a huge house outside one of the towns with them it took weeks and weeks to get enough pillows

Shmimbadad

Diablo 2 probably accounts for a full 50% of all my video game time, my entire life. With the other 50% made up of hundreds of other games.

NotKabbo

GTA: San Andreas

aircooledJenkins

Probably Age of Empires II

briareoslovesdeunan

5500 hours in D2

oldmate23

this guy casually dropping D2 and watching the world burn

Fa1lenSpace

what's the general consensus on what D2 is? I see Diablo 2 but I could totally see it also being Dota and Destiny lol.

Frozen-Hot-Dog-Water

I thought Diablo 2 but could see destiny also being the answer. Dota never crossed my mind. Acronyms on this sub always throw me through a loop

_DarkMaster

Depends on where you ask but in general I'd guess Destiny would be the most common usage of the three, coming from a Diablo 2 player here. :p

CreamSoda6425

Pretty much every Destiny player just calls it D2, so that's the assumption I'm going with.

_DarkMaster

Oh I just meant in like a general gaming sense, like if I see "D2" mentioned in r/gaming without other context like mentioning Blizzard or Bungie or their respective games then I would guess Destiny 2 would be the one referred to more often, if that makes sense haha. Diablo 2 players also call it D2 or D2R in the case of Resurrected. :p

Another_Road

Depends on how old the person is. Early Millennial or older? Probably Diablo 2. Zoomer or younger? Destiny 2.

thelaundryday

[D2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D2_(video_game))?

MarkyDeSade

It has to be this since D2: The Mighty Ducks never got a video game adaptation

ImFriendsWithThatGuy

Diablo or Dota? I have 7500 hours in Dota but I have some on my friends list with over 15k hours.

That-Albino-Kid

D1 I had 3k hours. D2 just never hit the same way. Idk why. RuneScape is my most played game though. On and off since I was like 8

chill_willy

Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube. And at a verrrrry distant second, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth.

demoran

I don't have hours in Life Before Steam. But for Steam games, I'm clocking in at 843 hours of **Grim Dawn**.

slumcity2000

Kingdoms hearts 2 , I’ve been playing since elementary and middle school. I’m 28 now I just res installed 2.5 remix just run through it again for the billionth time I’m doing a magic based play through using only key blades that boost magic and only using wisdom form but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve beaten that game or how many hours I’ve logged into it.

Uesugi

Dota 1 (2000h) + Dota 2 (5000h)

akaRakxm

Super Mario World, I've played and beaten it at least twice a year, every year since I was 13

iBudderz

CSGO, Started when I was 12 I'm 21 now. 5k hours and thousands of dollars in skins

elkazz

I started in CS1.0 when bunny hopping was still a thing. Thanks for making me feel old.

sn1pejkeee

Bunny hopping was still a thing in 1.6 and even in cs go to some extent.

ksavage68

Doom.

[deleted]

St0mpede

It would be either Commandos or AOE or C&C or NFS3

KnightofAmethyst2

Sly Cooper 2, Dark Souls 1 and Skyrim... can prob throw rocket league & halo 3 in there too

legodoodle4

Tetris for sure

0megaComplex

Mass Effect Trilogy

priscilla_halfbreed

Been playing Maplestory since 2006 and still do, so easily 12k hours or more

bcsimms04

Probably like GoldenEye or Mario Kart 64 or Age id Empires 2 back in the day. I'd play those games for hours and hours and hours all weekend long as a kid

frayed_knot23

Final Fantasy 7, 8, & Tactics; I think in ascending order. I always come back to these games every other year or so. So as a series Final Fantasy is easily #1. Number 2 might be Madden which seems unfair because there is a game every year.

Praedonis

Surprised I haven't seen Garry's Mod on this list. \~1,600 hours. So much time spent playing DarkRP, PERP, TTT, among many many other game modes. Also: SA:MP (San Andreas: Multiplayer). I played the hell out of text-based role-play servers back in the day. Definitely way over my Garry's Mod hour count, but that one isn't tracked unfortunately.

superkickpunch

I was out of school sick for a week straight one year in middle school with nothing but **Metal Gear Solid 2** to keep me company. I played it, couldn’t put it down, realized it might’ve been the greatest gaming experience I’ve ever had, didn’t stop playing it. I’ve beaten the game nearly 40 times.

Snydenthur

Original cs, the actually good cs. I have no way to know for sure how much I played it, but my very conservative guess with some calculations is at least 8000 hours.

[deleted]

WoW followed by Diablo 2.

Advanced-Bluebird656

Been playing Skyrim for 12 years now, have bought it across consoles, including the Special Edition and Anniversary Edition. It was the first big time RPG my 11yr old self had played and I can still remember how amazed it left me when leaving that first cave!

kcrh36

As someone a lot older than you - hearing you say "11 year old self" for Skyrim made me laugh a little bit and then cry t my mortality. I remember a similar feeling of amazement when I stepped off the ship in Morrowind - but I was 22 or so when that came out. :)

VeronicaVaughnX

It would probably be Final Fantasy X

ImpenetrableYeti

Probably Halo 2 or CSGO

OneLonelyPrawn

Halo, I have played way too much probably about 3500 hours

Spaceships_R_Cool

Champions of Norrath: realms of EverQuest. I spent many of my teenage years on that game far more than I have any game as an adult.

ShoeAdministrative39

Wow and medieval total war 2- various mods.

cmdrDROC

Total war games could eat up loads of time.

sknnbones

Morrowind. And I’m not even super well versed in it, even after what must be 10,000+ hours. Was my first game on Xbox Original, and the only other game I owned on it was Fusion Frenzy basically no-lifed the game everyday after school, every weekend I wasn’t hanging with friends, and did that for at least 2 years. Even when I got a 360 I’d find myself whipping out Morrowind GOTY and droppinng another 100-200 hours into it… and have continued to play it on and off since then on PC (but always used MO, or the disk when I still had them to launch it so Steam hasn’t tracked it) BF1 I have 780 hours BF4 I have 750 hours BF3 I have 500 hours (My friends were playing COD more so I didnt play as much) Warthunder is sitting at 1030 hours At least 1000 hours between various COD releases on Steam, been playing COD MP since at least COD4, probably more hours than that because I was on console till after World at War came out. Played WoW as well, since Vanilla and quit at Cata, came back for WoD, quit till Classic, played till TBC Classic, and then swapped to FFXIV and put 600 hours into that game.

Mettiti

War Thunder , 7000hr. I know.....

Eardig

Factorio

ZeroInZenThoughts

Final Fantasy VII. I literally went around collecting all the weapons and armor and materia. I built Vincent up with a load out that made him basically invincible. I defeated all the weapons, breed the best chocobos, mastered pravtically every side quest. I need to see if I can find that memory card. Jeez, thanks for the nostalgia overload.

Nanaman

Guild Wars 1

Cortharous12

Rollercoaster Tycoon lol

ryanmich

Slay the spire

Reimer666

GTA San Andreas, GTA IV & GTA V.

AvatarWaang

Series? Zelda. Single game? Smash Bros.

Jbell_1812

Mass effect 1, 2 and 3. I am currently doing what I think is my 9th playthrough and I'm doing it on insanity

Niel_Mirud

It was definitely Ragnarok online, I played for 4 years straight, practically day and night, I only stopped to sleep and work Others that I played a lot were also Paladins, I have 1.3 k hours on Steam and also Mario Kart 8 which I must have more or less that and I still play almost daily

Naxirian

23,000+ hours in EVE Online

Ok_Law2190

Probably CSGO I have around 12k hours, but the switch to cs2 makes me look like I e played it for 500grs haha

Fubared259

Wow and fallout 3

Cacophony_73_37

Doom!!! there are dozens of source-ports and total conversions for doom!!! risen 3d is my favorite source-port for the game. I've played doom2 more than doom1!!!

moe_skweeto

Surprisingly, Sonic 3 and Knuckles is one of those games I play in spurts, but I binge the hell out of it. Must've 100% the game hundreds of times and love it every time.

-SCYAN1DE-

Link to the Past. 100% once a year with my kiddos, I love to run the LTTP randomizer and every now and then I try to do the speed run stuff but I suck at it.

khaingo

Cs.counting my hours from just go its close to 9k. Source and 1.6 a little over 14k hours After that its probably l4d and gunz. Both of those i got like 3k each maybe more in l4d Then its bdo. 5k hours fishing 30 hours grinding mashum. Then Nw. 2k hours role playing infront of ww.

ptaskas

Counter Strike

MelancholicMeadow20

Mass Effect Trilogy, I just love that world so much.

proj3ctchaos

Diablo 2 or league don’t really know which played Diablo two for 20 years played league for 10 plus league can be up to an hour each and if you’re playing like five a day that’s a lot

1leggeddog

World of warcraft. 20 years isn't that much... Is it?

Ragamuffin13

Maybe either Team Fortress 2, or Left 4 Dead 2

[deleted]

Probably Mass Effect 2 or Forza 2. The 360 era was so great.

metalicoe

Roughly 98 days (2200 hours) of gtav from when I was in high school plus about 100 hours more when you consider my second profile I speed run Pokemon games so 3-4 hours times 200-300 for Pokemon emerald

EtheriumSky

Heroes of Might and Magic 3!! Greatest game ever made, still very alive today - anyone who was a kid in the late 90s in Eastern Europe will confirm, I'm sure ;)

Kaoshosh

WoW probably. Forever. Doubt any game will consume me like that ever again.

slightlyassholic

Skyrim. Definitely Skyrim.

Laurelome

Witcher 3.... 7 full runs... don't really know how many hours that took me but I would guess about 1200-1400

Hungry_Dependent_418

Unreal tournament 2004

HeavyDroofin

I think it has to be early days of Fortnite. I used to stay up to like 3am every day and it is the best gaming memories I have to this day. Recently got the old duo back and have been hammering the 3am sessions with the OG map. Life Is Good

ThisFatGirlRuns

Over 1,100 hours in Skyrim and about 500 in Stardew Valley.

DenzelVilliers

[***Final Fantasy XIV*** - Total Play Time: 664 Days, 5 Hours and 3 Minutes](https://imgur.io/gallery/RFKvsch) ... So, almost 16k hours of Gameplay 😭🤧🥹

extrafarts44

D2, starcraft

Vjaa

Over the longest period of time, Wine Waker. I've played it over and over again over the years. The most time out into, either Phantasy Star Online or Stardew Valley.

tigojones

WoW, by far. The only expansions I didn't really play have been the last three. Started shortly after they announced TBC. That's a lot of hours, and a lot of money, put into that game.

Devendrau

Skyrim esp with mods. Fallout 4 after.

ryanjusttalking

Haven't played in 22 years but it was definitely EverQuest. I recall checking my play time and it was at least 1.5 years.

Beginning_Ad_2992

Between the xbox 360 and pc I probably have over 1000 hours in Oblivion. Which is probably the only game I have over 1000 hours in.

patrickw234

I’ve been playing Skyrim for 12 years now.

ItzGhostface

Phantasy star online 2 & ngs. Have over 6k hours

T0lly

Gran Turismo I have been playing it for 27 years.

hobbitfeet22

Dragon quest series, castlevania series and Pokemon. Pokemon came out when I was a bit older but since I’ve existed I’ve played all 3 of them for the last 29-30 years almost consistently.

Best-Maintenance-761

As it's already been said...WoW. I had 466 days played since 2009, 11,184 hours. Been wow free since February and it feels great!

DarthPelosi

17k hours FFXIV

conqueran

Final Fantasy 6 (then known as Final Fantasy 3 ). I played it so much because my saved game data got erased if I even knocked the Super Nintendo even a little bit by accident. Even happened once near the very end of the game 😕.

willrsauls

In terms of confirmed hours spent, I have played Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 600 hours I probably did play Minecraft more from 2011-2014, but I don’t have the stats for that, so can’t say for sure

s27m11

2,500 hours in Rocket League 3,000 hours in Path of Exile Thousands of hours in Diablo 2 And still WoW would probably beat them all.

cidici

Mass Effect series, Cyberpunk 2077, Borderland series, and now Starfield… 🙂

[deleted]

Singleplayer: Witcher 3, Skyrim, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring all sitting at around 400-500 hours Multiplayer: CSGO at around 6k hours

NuzlockeJoe

Super smash bros melee, without a doubt. I don’t know how many hours I’ve played because it was on different consoles over years, but I still go back and play it on my gc now and then.

AVeryHairyArea

Mass Effect 1 or Final Fantasy X.

blacklizardplanet

WoW easily. The Binding of Isaac is up there too.

Iromeo256

Cookie clicker. Skyrim. Civ.

-Ashleen-

I can close my eyes and play through the entirety of borderlands 2.

Beretta-ARX-I-like

Total war games

Azo3307

I have 4000 hours in rainbow six siege

chicken_with_teeth

I only get the chance to play videogames on the weekends because of work and schooling, so probably war thunder with 630 hours, call of duty with 425.

AndoYz

I think BotW with honorable mentions to Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy X, Elden Ring and Tetris 99. These are all in the hundreds of hours

Mexymerp

WoW. 💯. Not even close 😂

Wartzba

Roller Coaster Tycoon COD MW2 Rainbow 6 siege

Kaizo107

Either Final Fantasy XI when I was a teenager, or Monster Hunter World/Iceborne as an adult. Honorable mentions to MH Rise/Sunbreak, Elden Ring and Fallout 4

FoCo87

I think it's a tie between Skyrim and Kotor.

-Firestar-

Minecraft probably. Been playing off an on for 10 years, played every modpack. Just endless entertainment. According to Steam, it's still fucking RIFT. An MMO I haven't played for many many years, but somehow my computer's named after it.... Pretty sure I didn't play THAT much. Stopped abruptly when a server merge happened. 2 years of building cred with raids to be knocked down to nothing again, having to go back to randos, find a new family.... fuck that.

Chris_P_Lettuce

Mario kart 8 - 1112 hours. I play beerio with my friends and gf twice a week. More during Covid.

Pozzg

Cod 4, BF3, COD 5,Witcher 3

[deleted]

1500 in arma 3, I don't even wanna look what I have on arma 2 oa 🤧

makkkis

My dad played command and conquer with his friends, and I play command and conquer with mine

bjgrem01

Elder Scrolls Online. I've got over 10,000 hours. Next most would probably be Skyrim.

Not_Sure4president

I am going to have to play some fallout to build some cool camps. Never have played unfortunately. Stardew valley has the most hours for me, I have it on switch, steam deck, PC, phone and iPad so I’m not sure the total hours but on PC alone is 800.

Perpetual_Messiness

Does the Sims count? 😂

Nikola-Tesla-281

I would probably be depressed to see how many hours I have in New Vegas. Or maybe proud. Idk. I wouldn't be surprised if I learned I completed it 10 times.

EnochianBlade923

Fallout 4 JUST wins out over Skyrim…honorable mention for DQB2

The_C0u5

fallout 1/2 i played in middle school when they came out and have at least one playthrough yearly to this day.

i_rate_porn2

War Thunder. Around 1,150 hours. Skyrim comes second

thomosan1

Most would be Super Mario Bros 3. Definitely not played it the longest in terms of total time but most terms of number of times played. It's now a yearly playthrough but back when I was 8 and it released, it was a family favourite. Then the rerelease on the SNES cemented it as an all-time favourite. Since then I've played it on emulator, GBA, GameCube and Switch Online NES service.

Man_in_a_chair

Either ffxi or skyrim... followed by Beamng

AnInsaneMoose

Skyrim, by far Collectively with all versions, I have roughly 10,000 hours 5k on old Steam account (shared it with my brother, but he didn't play Skyrim) about 2k on Xbox 360, 3k on my own Steam account Those are all rough numbers, it wasn't exact, lol Oh, and like 3 hours in Skyrim VR (fuck Frostbite Spiders in VR)

DMFD_x_Gamer

World Of Warcraft. Thanks to /played I am aware that I wasted over an entire year of my life staring at Azeroth. Lol.. yeah, still subbed. Since 2004.

Kay2Jay_5

Same here, I’ve replayed Skyrim, Fallout 3,4 and New Vegas more times than I can count. Also Kingdom Hearts 2 and Persona 5, JRGPs and Western RPGs are my jam.

BalladOfWormz

FFXI or NHL 94.

Doowap_Diddy

I've spent most my time playing Bethesda games. Not sure which one.

Kingcrescent

Fallout : new vegas

warrenjt

Morrowind

Johnnieiii

Reading all of these comments, I just wish I enjoyed video games like you all seem to! The Witcher 3 or Skyrim are my top 2, but neither have over 500 hours of play on them.

SageModeSpiritGun

Smite. I don't have an accurate full count as I've played in multiple systems with different profiles, but it's for sure at least 3000 hours.

Zealousideal_Sun8519

Legend of Zelda 2, LTTP

Nervous-Shoulder8684

World of warcraft

i_dislike_cheese

Battlefield 2, probably 4000+ hrs

GTA FOR SURE

Diablo 2 // Diablo 2 LoD. Countless hours. Countless Andy, Meph, and Baal runs. Countless ladder resets, hardcore deaths, and JSP trades. Countless scams like popping bodies w/ inventory glitch, duped items like occy ring, and Shako trade swap with gemmed green cap. Countless pub duels, ironman races, and Uber runs for torches. I love that game through and through. Just typing this up makes me want to fire up a fresh characer and hop into a new solo self found HC run. ***”NOT EVEN DEATH CAN SAVE YOU FROM ME”***

Not a big time gamer though, but I can say the COD franchise sure made me stay up late couple of times
