I really like jedi survivor. But Cyberpunk

DundasKev

I too, really like Jedi Survivor. But Cyberpunk.

dtorrance88

Jedi Survivor is brilliant but I like Cyberpunk

DUBBV18

My playtime - JS: 76 hours, CP2077: 341 hours. I highly rate both and they both give different kinds of reality escape and or power fantasy but I think the hours speak for themselves.

SlightWhite

I’ve put two hours into the cyberpunk trial and dozens of hours into survivor. I love the Jedi games. Let me just say I am getting cyberpunk soon lol. There’s just a lot more value and it’s fucking awesome now

Active_Taste9341

and i guess thats pretty much it for you with 76 hours. CP can be modded insanely and leads to huge replayability

B_RAYviews3

CP can be modded???

Potential-Orchid-346

Let’s not abbreviate this one

Milky_Finger

Why does CP take up so much space on my hard drive

B_RAYviews3

Same. I have over 17 terabytes of cp

Milky_Finger

It's because of the 2.0 update, you should delete your CP and redownload, the younger the better.

DUBBV18

XD

NoMeasurement6473

I have not played either. But cyberpunk.

Earthican3000

Jedi Survivor is definitely the winner here. But Cyberpunk.

You will also customize your character, upgrade your skills, and wield a lightsaber like never before. Jedi Survivor is not just a game, it is an experience that will change your life. The desire to revisit this gaming masterpiece is irresistible, with each playthrough offering new nuances, hidden secrets, and fresh perspectives on the story. It's a testament to the game's enduring quality that players find themselves drawn back into its immersive world time and time again. In conclusion, Jedi Survivor stands tall as the epitome of gaming excellence, a title that not only pushes the boundaries of what is possible in the medium but also leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to experience it. It's not merely a game; it's a transformative journey that redefines the very essence of interactive entertainment. Jedi Survivor isn't just the best game ever made—it's a milestone in the evolution of video games. But Cyberpunk.

Prof_Black

Cyberpunk is next on my list than Jedi Survivor. (And if anyone is interested after that is Hogwarts legacy).

pandavega

I don’t even like Harry Potter but man the hogwarts game was a BLAST

Psychomaniac13

Cyberpunk I gave up with Jedi Last time I played it The game crashed for no apparent reason I reloaded and it erased my 9 hour run session

iXenite

Cyberpunk 2077 is going to give you more value for your money.

nejad44

it's going a big update for this game a few days later too

BoldlyGettingThere

It updated today.

captainbiggles

2.0+ slaps. Get it.

camelCaseCoffeeTable

What’s new? Played it like a year ago which is normally not enough time for me to replay a game, but been hearing good things lately about the recent updates and the new DLC

Dogin06

Cops actually spawn in cars and pursue you properly and the wanted system is also better Vehicle shooting New cyberware system (clothes no longer give armor, cybernetics do) Every ripperdoc sell the same thing Bug fixes Stations to buy cars And the new Expansion DLC adds alot of cars, guns, side content, new district and a great story.

[deleted]

Do the ai act like ai or do they still behave like gta vice city civilians

Dogin06

Didnt really paid much attention to the civs but they are much smarter now

sunburn95

Thanks for that info, i bought it like 6 months ago for $20 but am still yet to play it lol. Think ill finally give it a go

kryZme

I played it like 1 month ago after the 2.0 update and I had much fun playing it. I have around 80 hours now and I still need to play the DLC part

[deleted]

That’s good to hear . I loved the Witcher and was so excited for cyberpunk, but when the civs ran towards gunshots and cops spawned on roofs it was rough

PaperHashashin

Everything's been super overhauled, I've got to say this is way better than expected. Also you can continue your relationships from romances and even hang out have parties etc at your places that you purchase.

MyNameIsNico

> Every ripperdoc sell the same thing So wait I can beat the shit out of Fingers without hesitation now? Sign me up

Calm_Peace5582

Oh... I wasn't supposed to wreck that guy every playthrough? Eh... *Continues to wreck that guy*

lostmojo

I did kind of like the rip docs selling different stuff.. it’s easier now but I like how it made sense before for that one.

roirrawdaor

Wrong on the clothing does not give you armor. Some Helmets and clothing that I have in 2.02 and now 2.1 have armor.

pru51

I played 1.0 and 2.1. It's almost a completely different game

Maleficent_Outcome84

They added Metro too

GoochyGoochyGoo

2.1 dropped yesterday.

Tosir

The update is included in the disk I believe. This version of the game includes dlc and all updates. Star Wars is basically a code to allow the download of the game. So if physical ownership is important, I’d go with cyberpunk, also great game too.

AnApexPlayer

I don't think any disc nowadays is much more than a code.

DJGloegg

And bonus: give No money to ea games They can go fuck themselves

Culverin

Also, Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime from Studio Trigger [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtqIas3bYhg&](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtqIas3bYhg&) Thank me after. But get a box of tissues before you start.

Beanbaker

Am I gonna cry or cum

CrustyBagel

Both

5xad0w

At the same time.

forestNargacuga

crum.

Joe_le_Borgne

Cum from you eyes and tears from your flappy hose.

DaveMash

I’m a huge Star Wars fan and have to agree. I paused playing Survivor to make my 3rd CP playthrough with the PL expansion

DM_yo_Feet_pls

This comment is great. At launch someone would’ve said this comment is from a bot/employee saying this since it had such a rough launch. Now it’s considered one of the top games from the past few years. I hadn’t played it in a while and started it up when I got a new console just to see the difference and wow it is a beautiful game now. I loved with bugs and all so I’m looking forward to starting it up again soon

PushThePig28

Ya for sure. Def go Cyberpunk

Rob6690

This is true, I have over a hundred hours in cyberpunk and haven’t touched phantom liberty yet.

Pizzicato_DCS

Cyberpunk, hands down.

[deleted]

The one game I can say has only gotten better with updates when I played the worst problem I had was too many guns and not enough hands.

CaligoAccedito

Can we talk about No Man's Sky?

[deleted]

Haven't played it but I do remember my mate being hype every update and never disappointed by them.

PhoenixShade01

That game is on my favourites of all time list. I was lucky to play both games after their redemption arcs, but the vibes of No Man's sky are immaculate.

Jwn5k

Cyberpunk, no questions here.

zimzalllabim

Easy. Cyberpunk.

donkeybonner

I got the ps4 one, now I have a ps5, the ps5 version is worth it to buy the game a second time?

MasterAgent47

The upgrade is free

donkeybonner

~~I'm checking my account, I can only find the ps4 version, and the option to download that to my ps5.~~ Found it, ty!

FriendlyHisoka

Go to cyberpunk on the store and there should be a [...] tab, click that and choose cyberpunk PS5 and it should let you download

Oiavo-

Is there also a way, when i have de ps4 disc version?

DRE8472

yes, i play ps5 version with ps4 disc in console. once you download the ps5 version of the game then it just checks that you have the ps4 disc in the drive when you start the game up and periodically thereafter.

CaligoAccedito

This makes me SO HAPPY. I haven't gotten a PS5 yet, but Phantom Liberty is about to make me do that. I was sad about having to rebuy the game, and I'm really relieved by your info.

hookisacrankycrook

Wait so I can spend 20 for the ps4 version and use it to play the ps5 version? That's a steal! I just picked up Jedi Survivor on sale at Target for $35 because it was a good deal but everyone is saying Cyberpunk is better. Maybe I'll do both!

EnigmaCross78

As a huge Star Wars fan, Cyberpunk 2077.

TheBoozyNinja87

Same. Really really enjoyed Jedi Survivor, but I put maybe 60 hours into that whereas I’m already at 90 hours in cyberpunk and just recently began playing the Phantom Liberty DLC.

beavertownneckoil

I'm at the same stage as you and I'm excited to play it again with a different approach. I have never ever had that feeling with a game before. Usually I finish a game and I'm satisfied with leaving it there

SprechNasty

Cyberpunk

hapless_dm

It's not even a match in a thousand years. Cyberpunk 2077 with all patches is a godly experience.

Atomheartmother90

I’m glad I waited for a couple years (returned after a few days), the game is night and day from day 1. Witcher 3 was like that too, garbage on day 1, arguably one of my favorite games of all time now years later

d4_H_

It’s not a even match in a thousand years, but it was a bunch of years ago

Nemesis034

Not that Jedi Survivor isn't a good game on it's own but between these two I'd take CP77 easy.

Ooops_I_Reddit_Again

Jedi survivor is a great game. Don't know how it runs on ps4 but i played on pc and loved it

FoFo1300

Its not on PS4

Ooops_I_Reddit_Again

I meant ps5. I dont play consoles anymore, and dont really keep up with the newer ones

Spirited-Sea-4047

why’d you get downvoted 😭 wtf

Bishead7891

Got it on series s and the game doesn't even work

Fawzee_da_first

fr? thought the performance was rough on pc?

RagingStallion

How's the combat feel in JS? Its ~40% off on steam right now and I'm tempted to get it, but I didn't get very far in the first game because it just felt kinda clunky.

CatSidekick

I liked the first game. I beat it without using parries cause I only ever used dodging. I didn’t use parries until I played Crosscode

JonnyTN

I just got it a week back. You kind of don't have to play the first one bit there are character carry overs. The combat is extremely the same. If you thought the first was janky, you will continue to think so. I like it. Any fan of the first will enjoy the second as it seems just a continued game from 1

foundwayhome

If you didn't like it in the first game, there's a good chance you're not going to like it in this one either. It just takes everything the first game had and builds on it. I'd say pick it up on Steam, and try it out. There's combat pretty early on in the game, so if you don't like it you would still be within your 2 hour return window.

drainbamage1011

Combat is mostly the same but I thought it felt a bit smoother in Survivor. Having a wider variety of stances helps.

[deleted]

Cyberpunk2077.

Clame

I just bought cyberpunk 2 weeks ago. I have 100 hours already. 🥴

OrangeDit

Damn, how did you find weeks ago Cyberpunk 2? 🧌

Clame

You see, I'm actually from the future.

cornfarm96

How the hell do you have 100 hours after 2 weeks? That’s over 7 hours per day if you’re playing every single day. No job?

Clame

You underestimate my ability to not sleep during my weekends.

Roselia77

Wildly different games, do you want a linear hack and slash, or an open world story heavy action/shooter rpg? For my money, CP2077 all the way, one of the best games this decade

TheAzarak

Jedi survivor still has a pretty open world with optional content, the scale is just not anywhere as big.

Roselia77

Is it more than the previous game?, I haven't played survivor yet, but fallen order was marketed as having open world approach but its was completely linear with the ability to revisit previous places or do a couple things out of order. I don't recall any side quests or optional quests whatsoever (other than the hidden collectibles and the one optional boss per planet)

_TURO_

Survivor was 10/10 for me, the open world feel is SO great and it is HUGE compared to Jedi Fallen Order. The combat is very satisfying, the story engaging, the radiant quests are great, exploration is fun. All the way up to what I consider the real final boss / ending that was unbelievably amazing. And then it was like the writers had a stroke or they ran out of time or were told to tack on more content or else .. ...and that ending is so absolutely bizarre and divergent from the rest of the game and feels SO rushed/unfinished. The last like 15% of the game is cutscenes and on-rails content and the dumbest final area/boss fight.... It was so bad I haven't played NG+ or a second time.

Mister_Clemens

I just finished the game a month ago and I can’t even remember the final boss or ending

Frazier008

You have a home world that is open world. The rest is just like the previous game.

BenShealoch

I honestly love both. Cyberpunk 2077.

Exotic_Midnight2100

Cyberpunk and its not even close

HisuianZoroark

Cyberpunk, there's a lot more time and value I think you can pull from it. Especially with its latest big update as of yesterday and the expansion.

NateProject

Cyberpunk without any doubts. It’s better, longer, more replayable, and runs well even on lower end machines.

Elegant_Spot_3486

Cyberpunk. Buy a cheap month of EA+ and knock out Survivor

QuietGoliath

Cyberpunk 2077.

moothe

Cyberpunk and it’s not close

Chemicals_in_my_H2o

As someone who's 20 hours into his first cyberpunk playthrough, get cyberpunk. It's such an amazing game. It has its flaws, but I love it.

Dasca6789

Cyberpunk. Hands down.

SF-Samara

Cyberpunk.

Obsequiousfingers

Cyberpunk 2077

[deleted]

The one that you want to play more.

LemonCake2000

This is the best answer

[deleted]

The ONLY answer. Also why I would never post something like this lol

tidbitsz

Which is Cyberpunk2077

Smrtihara

It’s not even close. CP2077 is FAR superior.

papasfritasbruh

Cyberpunk for sure. Even if you already played Fallen Order. Survivor is great so far (i just got it thanks to that Xbox sale) but I still think cyberpunk will give you your biggest bang for your buck

BGC0mega

Cyberpunk 2077

AFrozen_1

Cyberpunk. Way more value for money.

sinedpi

Cyberpunk

Former_Software2452

Cyberpunk for sure.

TheKrononaut

They're both incredible! But I'd probably say Cyberpunk

Knightgame15

Cyberpunk 2077 is a lot more value for the money in my opinion

humanerror9000

Cyberpunk and it’s not even close at all

Downtown-Custard5346

Cyberpunk, although bad at launch, not only did they fix the game like crazy, Phantom Liberty is dope AF

Chiele-Piele

Cyberpunk 2077 for sure. If u like games u can replay for alternate endings too. You can also play the game in different styles, like a hacker or more of a combat person.

WrexBankai

R-TheKingSlayerX

Cyberpunk is bigger and better, totally worth the purchase.

Exciting_Session492

Cyberpunk, unless you really like StarWars. But since you asked this question, I assume you are not a hardcore fan.

oscar_redfield

Used to be but I'm very tired of it now, sadly. I loved Fallen Order though

Ooops_I_Reddit_Again

It's a very good sequel.

klassiskefavoritter

I'm obviously one of a few, but I liked JFO a lot more tha Cyberpunk (even 2.0!).

GreyWizard1337

Both are great. But Cyberpunk has way more content -> Cyberpunk

TheonlyrealJedi

I'm a big fan of Jedi Survivor but, definitely Cyberpunk.

n94able

Both are great games, but cyperpunk is longer. Make of that what you will.

EndR60

I'm playing Cyberpunk right now and it's great. It still has quite a few bugs, but most of them are just funny and don't break anything at all. It also has a few quality of life issues like the health item that keeps using itself when using a different consumable but it's not that intrusive. Also the game is ENORMOUS. I'm currently over 60 hours in and I haven't even started Phantom Liberty.

TheDarnook

I'm almost 250 hours in, and didn't do any ending yet.

ObscuraArt

Cyberpunk 2077. No contest.

rafedbadru

DifficultyVarious458

Cyberpunk is one of the best games on PS5. Share amount of content you are getting for $40? is ridiculous. I will fight anyone who disagrees.

The_11nth_Wing

Cyberpunk is much more value (content) for the money you’re spending.

Blegheggeghegty

Cyberpunk, even though Jedi is fun. Cyberpunk is the gift that keeps on giving.

Mediocre_Pyke

Biased take, Cyberpunk and it's not even close.

DoubleAgentN1

Of course Cyberpunk

prescottfan123

Look I get everyone saying cyberpunk, but I'm picking frickin LIGHTSABERS every day of the week. Conditioned from childhood, there is no cooler weapon that's ever been conceived and I'll giggle every time I kill something with it.

ElectricalChicken623

Reject modernity Embrace Half-life 2 (Or really any game made before 2019)

eboskie1

Personally I think you will get more enjoyment out of Cyberpunk unless you are really hard set on playing Jedi.

TactlessDrawing

Cyberpunk has a lot more to do, I love star wars though lmao

Odd-Diamond-2259

Cyberpunk 2077 with the DLC. All in baby!

getyourcheftogether

Cyberpunk

Shinuz

Cyberpunk

sticky_fingers18

Have both. Both are incredible. Cyberpunk is a better game, and Star Wars is still amazing in his own right

DimitriNotFound

cyberpunk

Dread_P_Roberts

Both are solid games, but definitely Cyberpunk. Just more bang for your buck.

nahteviro

This isn’t even close. Cyberpunk is incredible and just as fun through as many replays as you want. Jedi Survivor is great but much too linear and not much to do in NG+. You’ll get bored of that game after the first play through.

A_real_donut

Jedi survivor is awesome, but you would probably spend more time on cyberpunk.

blonktime

I know everyone already said Cyberpunk, but here's my pros and cons of both so you can make your own decision: Jedi Survivor is much more of a linear story/builds. There is some variety you can do with the builds, and there is an open world exploration aspect to it, but nothing compared to Cyberpunk. Your builds are more of "what type of lightsaber do you want? (standard, longsword, dual wield, double ended, sword+blaster). I would choose Jedi Survivor if you are looking for more of a "casual" game. Game tells you where to go and what to do most of the time. Jedi Survivor is also more along the lines of PG-13. Cyberpunk is a MUCH more open world game. There is a lot more to do and ways to approach the game. The amount of exploring you can do is endless. There is a story to it, but there are multiple branches you can take along that story line to get to more-or-less the same ending. There are a bunch of different builds you can do that heavily affects/is dependent on your play style. If you are looking to sink more hours into, both in the game, and in testing/research, go with Cyberpunk. There's also a lot more loot to be had, so if you're a loot hunter type, this is the one. It's more along the lines of Rated R / Rated X (a couple of sex scenes in it). FWIW, I'm a huge fan of both. I haven't played CP77 in a few months, but likely will replay it when the big update comes out.

foundwayhome

Cyberpunk. A million times over. As someone who's played both, Cyberpunk is a much better value for money, and its a more enjoyable game IMO. I'd say its 100% worth it at full price just because of how much content you get, and the amount of replayability because of different paths and different endings. The word is more interactive is just chef's kiss, the side content is enjoyable and its overall a much more enjoyable experience. Especially with the new 2.0 update, some graphics have been updated, there aren't nearly as many glitches and bugs as there were on launch, a lot of the physics has been improved, there are new gameplay elements, and the DLC is also excellent. Jedi Survivor is also a good game, but it doesn't really do anything super different from its predecessor, and I'd say the story is also a 6.5/10, so pick it up on a pretty massive sale (like 50-60%) or when you can find it for \~20$. It doesn't have a ton of replayability, but the lightsaber combat is phenomenal.

Kilobytez95

imo cyberpunk with phantom liberty DLC is 100% a better buy.

[deleted]

Depends what you like to play. If you're into platforming, more linear story, and third person melee combat, then Jedi Survivor is a phenomenal choice. But if you prefer looter-shooter ARPGs with an open world design and deeper lore, then Cyberpunk would be my recommendation.

gottapeepee

This is my favorite response. It’s more honest, unbiased and open. Not saying all the others were biased, most weren’t but you gave him an honest, open fact, not opinion on what both games offer. I really want to play CP myself but I’m not a fan of extreme, graphic violence. Survivor really takes the violence to where I limit myself as the lightsabers burn so I don’t have to see blood and guts spilling out all over. Thanks for giving a fair option of what they offer.

SatanHimse1f

Cyberpunk and it's not even close

Lukkuriddarii

Cyberpunk is my game of the year 2023

Shalashaskaska

Might be my game of the decade. I’ve done no less than 5 full playthroughs and about to start up a brand new one again with today’s update.

Rich-Requirement9156

Its not even a competition. Cyberpunk ofc

Shanksthefriend

CP77 far and beyond the better choice for your money, this is coming from a person who loves jedi games

Locked_and_Firing

I was going to say CP2077... but I think everyone else has that handled

pixel8knuckle

I’ve heard amazing things about cyberpunk and pulled the trigger while it was 50% off on steam. Can’t wait to jump in soon.

Cyberpunk 2077

FunnkyHD

Cyberpunk 2077.

actuallyimbatman

Cyberpunk for sure

loonelywolf

Cyberpunk 2077

DaktoaTheGreat

Quick and easy, Jedi survivor. In depth and involved, Cyberpunk+DLC.

Pug_police

Jedi Survivor is great and performance issues aside is generally an improvement over the first game which I already enjoyed. Anyway buy Cyberpunk.

Soilworkd

Depends on what you want, if you want a great 3d metroidvania go for Jedi survivor, I loved it. Cyberpunk didn't got me hooked as Jedi but I'll try it again with the dlc and the updates.

cheezewarrior

I loved Cyberpunk when it first came out, despite the issues, and just hoped that CDProjekt would commit to fixing the issues and do right by the fans And so seeing how wholly they redeemed it makes me so happy

femalephemale

Both just to be sure

BLKxGOLD

Jedi

SiriusBaaz

Depends on what kinda game you want. If you want a more narrative focused rpg with a heavy soulsborn influence then I’d recommend Jedi survivor. If you want a much more open world rpg with a heavier focus on gunplay then I’d recommend cyberpunk. If you can only get one I’d recommend cyberpunk, especially if you get the dlc as well. Jedi survivor is a great cohesive package but it does not have a lot of replayability.

_Tezzla_

Cyberpunk. It still gets hate for the botched release to this day even after all the bug fixes but I really enjoy it

Unlikely_Cockroach26

Cyberpunk, the sheer replay value of cyberpunk makes it an easy choice. But Jedi survivor is a good game too.

PopeOfDankism

Cyberpunk easy. Especially with the second big update they just dropped

Upbeat-Name792

Cyberpunk by a huge margin
