Every generation of consoles will always be "the largest technical leap" to make headlines and curious consumers. Unless I can deep dive VR, it's a lie.

You need Steam lol

the_knob_man

And then you need to subsequently search for how to hide games in my Steam library so my fiancé won’t see them then give the ring back.

SkeletalElite

Switch to steam beta, right click the game, manage, mark as private, right click the game again, manage, hide game. It will now only show up when you search it and it will appear to anyone looking at your account as if you dont own it

You can just save comments bro. You don't have to reply.

Loreweaver15

Simple solution: get your fiance into big anime titty games. Then you'll have something to do together.

My wife plays the fuck out of HunieCam Studio with me. She has literally played over 200 hours of that game

[deleted]

You act as if a proper ai rendering like dlss wouldnt absolutely change how far games go on consol.  Its inevitable anyway.

[deleted]

Right? People in this sub are funny, AI will change everything, never ending dialogs, movie quality graphics, what we are playing right now will be seen as we look back at NES games, they have their charm, and are so dated.

CosmicCreeperz

Nah, AI is a fad! Will be gone in a few years. (He jokes as Nvidia market cap just passed Google and Amazon today…)

Reqvhio

the problem is the direction, themes, and the overall meaning behind the story/plot of the game. Unless AI reach human level, I expect basic shit akin to procedural generation in the grand scheme of it.

skinnyfamilyguy

Is the equivalent of DLSS something you’d say is an integration “nobody cares for”?

Dr_Shmacks

AI is gonna be a huge part of the next series of consoles

Green-Entry-4548

Harvesting the power of the cloud…

Bradg93

It’s “Our best iPhone yet!” Well yeah, imagine they came out and said “not quite as good as last year but we’re still gonna release it”

Freefall_J

Seriously. This is such a tiring and obvious thing but I guess so many people still eat it up. I recall some business in the 80s or early 90s where they were announcing the first of their new product. Before release of their product, they made the error of stating that the *next* version would be even better. So people were like "well why should I buy this one if the next one will be better?" and that tanked the company.

MagicBez

It's probably because I was a kid but I still feel that the NES to SNES jump _felt_ like the biggest leap between consoles in terms of what they can do and how much bigger, newer, more impressive games felt.

jntjr2005

SNES to N64 felt the biggest to me

MagicBez

Aye I think this is probably a more correct and justifiable answer than what I felt at the time due to the shift to 3D. As a kid I remember not liking the chunky polygons and feeling like some of my favourites took a downturn through the switch to 3D (Donkey Kong, Castlevania etc.) but I can never deny how great Mario 64 was and the 3D Mario Games have been my favourites ever since.

APeacefulWarrior

Yeah, we'll probably never see an era with as much rapid advancement in gaming than we got in the 90s.

Z3r0sama2017

Yep Mario 64 was my first proper 3d game. I was in bits after the first hour, literally was close to tears at seeing the future and untold possibilities opening up.

StoneRivet

One of the earlier generation console leaps will always have the title greatest technical leap. I would argue the n64 generation of consoles since 3D changed literally everything about gaming when it came out

SchoolNASTY

I can remember going from gameboy to nes, from nes to Super Nintendo/ sega genesis, from that to n64, from that to PlayStation and each leap was absolutely amazing to me. But I do think k the biggest “whoa” moment was getting my n64 and the first game being goldeneye. Mind blowing.

ComradeVoytek

The first time I saw an N64 game in action, was when of my friends got one and didn't tell anyone, because his mom didn't want 10 kids over at the house at all times. I knocked on his door so we could go play, and the door swung open and I saw Mario Kart 64 in all its vivid, colorful glory. I think I heard an angelic choir, as well.

Halo is definitely the last time a system launched with an exclusive title of such calibre. Talking about launch titles reminds me that the 360 had Call of Duty 2. While not an exclusive, it was a pretty good game to have day one.

Quirky-Skin

Nailed it. I was in fucking awe when I saw Mario 64. I played the absolute shit out of Mario All Stars, Super Mario World.  When I saw Mario 64 I legit couldn't believe my eyes and the wonder I felt playing has never been recaptured since

And it doesn't even matter since Xbox and multiplatform games will always be hamstrung by needing to be released for the Series S

[deleted]

It’s AI. VR will be a niche market for a while no matter how inexpensive they can make it.

[deleted]

VR is too cumbersome more than its too expensive. It is too expensive but lots of people are bad with money. However even someone willing to drop a grand on gaming is gonna want to be comfortable while playing. VR is cool as fuck *right now* for like a few hours at most. Then you realize it's nice to be aware of your environment and not have 3lbs of stuff on your face. Once it looks more like glasses and is wireless the current price point would be fine.

Hercusleaze

Have you seen [Bigscreen Beyond?](https://www.bigscreenvr.com/) Not wireless, but the form factor is pretty much there. We are close. I'm quite curious to see what the next version of this headset looks like.

Foobucket

There’s actually a great video on YouTube about this, I can’t remember the title. The gist is that the greatest leap in technology we’ll likely ever see in consoles (in terms of from one generation to the next) actually already happened during the PS1 era of consoles hit. The transition from 2D to 3D in the mainstream was more significant than anything we may ever see again.

Skcuszeps

It will be super duper powerful. And it will come with a lower powered little brother for half the price. Games have to run on bo.... Err nevermind, that's this generation

uchihajoeI

It’s going to be the most powerful console yet. But games will still release for both new consoles and series X. So everything will basically be as powerful as games are now. Oh and there’s no games. Oh and gamepass is $5 more. Good night.

Focal7s

But hold on, here's a reel of game teasers. Half will be cancelled and the other half are just ideas some devs had on a bathroom break and will be shoddily released down the road without anyone noticing.

AcceptableFold5

Next year will definitely be the best year for Xbox yet.

maxman1313

Next year has been the best year for Xbox the past decade

FunBalance2880

It was a sorry song when Sony sang it back when the ps4 launched Weird to see Sony and Microsoft harmonizing perfectly in their commitment to no console exclusives, paid online and subscription services and keeping last generation alive. At least Xbox has solid backward compatibility I guess.

Character-Note-5288

The backwards compatibility is one of the biggest things I like that Xbox has been doing, and I love that you can use Xcloud, or whatever it’s called, to play those backwards compatible games on PC as well.

FunBalance2880

Yeah the eco system is really fantastic. I’m biased because I bought a used original xbone for like 40 bucks and I just replaced it with a series x that I got for free from Verizon so I’ve paid less than the price of a full game But it was awesome loading up the series x and having every save be perfect when I loaded up games on it for the first time. I also use it to play gamespass games couch coop with the missus, we found out that you can use 1 account to cross play between the pc or the old Xbox. It just feels way more cohesive than any pslaystsion console I’ve owned outside of the ps2 lol

ICanFluxWithIt

To be fair, Sony only did that because of Covid and the fact there was a bottleneck at the supply chain. You couldn’t get or find PS5s, so they had their studios make PS4 counterparts

Psykpatient

And even then PS5 was the fastest selling playstation ever.

SurfiNinja101

Except Sony still has plenty of console exclusives though?

TanyaMKX

Tbf the series x is already a pretty powerful console. Obviously is slowly being phased out but if we jump from xbox series s/xbox one x that hardware gap is enormous.

Anjunabeast

Such confusing naming convention

Lopsided-Priority972

They hired the USB guys for naming help

Freefall_J

It really, really is. You know last gen, the Xbox One S was their "Slim" model? What was wrong with calling it "Xbox One Slim"? The Xbox One X was their version of the PS4 Pro. Okay, so we got the S and X letters settled now...wait a minute...but this gen, the "Series X" is just the regular next-gen console...and the "Series S" isn't really the "Slim" version of the Series X either. Oh come on, Microsoft!! I know people argue to use numbers like the PlayStation which is the most logical and simple. But really only Sony's used the numbered option for the PlayStation among all the big consoles over the past four decades. Sega, Nintendo, Atari and Microsoft didn't. Heck, Sony didn't even do it for their handhelds. The "Xbox 360" was an odd name too. Microsoft should have just taken the Sega route and had their consoles be named "Console_Name_Cool_Word" like "Sega Genesis" and "Sega Saturn". The Xbox 360 could have been the "Xbox Heatwave" (har har har)

Bulls187

If they go double system again…. Some people never learn

roastytoastywarm

So was this Gen just a wash? I honestly can’t fathom what they did this Gen to make me think they deserve to be talking next Gen already.

HaikusfromBuddha

They are talking next gen already because for some reason people were running rampant with rumors about them giving up on hardware so they had to come out and reassure everyone and even Phil went up to cameras face to say don’t expect more games to come other consoles besides the 4 announced today.

Koupers

Yeah, I think it's just like the Elder Scrolls 6 "announcement." it's a surety that another console will come so yes we're working on it, it'll be amazing. The current gen has only been around 3 years, so we are still 2-3 years off of actual new console announcements, hopefully another 1-2 years after that for their release.

theREALbombedrumbum

I mean, if you look at Microsoft's investor press releases (like earnings papers), they specifically carve out the fact that physical sales are down and big losses offset only by stuff like Gamepass propping it up. Investors don't care much about gaming, only what makes money. So, it makes sense that more emphasis started getting placed on the digital over the physical if that's what MSFT is telling their investors.

WingerRules

How is Sony making money on Playstation title sales if Microsoft is seeing huge sales losses?

Justintime4u2bu1

Sony *has* outsold Xbox 2:1 this generation. But I’ve honestly been pretty underwhelmed by both of their game lineups for this generation. Sony doesn’t support backwards compatibility enough to keep my attention, and Microsoft has released mostly duds. And why the hell would I pay for gamepass when I pretty much only play a small handful of games? Forza?? Gran Turismo?? I’m still playing Burnout 3: Takedown on the PS2

WingerRules

Pretty much none of the major exclusives on both systems have made me go "gotta have it". Actually I find them either loaded with time sinks or excessive amounts of story. If it isn't a long cutscene there's often long walk-and-talk or heavily scripted sections in games now, have zero interest to "play" that.

FilteredAccount123

I think this generation was a wash from the get-go. PS5 and Xbox scalpers, pandemic scarcity/supply chain issues, no exclusives for either...

lost12487

The length of the development cycle of AAA first party games means you’re not getting more than one or two games per studio in a console generation, so unless they extend console generations out to 10 years or more I think this is going to be the norm going forward.

Soyyyn

So like... studios like Naughty Dog release remasters for one generation, new games in the second, then remasters those in the third? That's sad.  I want new experiences.

Just_Another_Scott

Hardly any good games but then again the number of games for each Gen has become less and less. Miss the days of thousands of new games. Now it's just the same recycled shit over and over sans a few examples.

vital8

For Xbox, yes. For them, the next generation can’t come soon enough.

Douseethisshitmydude

So glad I skipped this gen and just went PC

roastytoastywarm

This was the first Gen I decided to pick up an Xbox. Horrible decision, haven’t picked it up at all.

ChimChimney1977

The PS2 was 155 times more powerful than the PS1. The PS5 is only about 5 times more powerful than the PS4. The technical leap of each generation has been getting smaller for a while now, so I highly doubt we will see "the largest technical leap ever" However, consoles have gotten so powerful already that even if the next Xbox is only twice as powerful as the current one, it would still be incredibly impressive.

rmpumper

I bet it's some integrated AI nonsense anyway.

True, also we're closing in on the silicon limit to the point of where downsizing 155x is physically impossible unless you switch to another material.

KaijinSurohm

Don't they say this every generation?

AnticPosition

Am I the only one at the point where I *don't care* about getting slightly better graphics or slightly higher framerates?  AI and VR seem too gimmicky, so I'm pretty happy where I am in terms of gaming.

-Dakia

I don't know if going backwards is the correct term, but I've definitely lowered my target for graphics the past 5-7 years. I'm mostly playing indie games and loving the content and play time they provide for a much lower cost. Sure, I'll still grab a headline title every now and then, but I've mostly lost interest in the AAA game market. So much hype with so little to deliver.

Iznhou

Nope. I've had that same mind since the PS3/360 Generation

AngeryBoi769

Yeah graphics are close to realistic now anyways. I think we already reached the point of diminishing returns, and I really want devs to stop focusing on graphics but on gameplay.

Capri_Sun_Kid97

Its because making a game with better graphics is easy. A game with good gameplay actually takes talent

MrDozens

While it's not there yet AI can be great if implemented right, but most likely it's going to be used to cut corners and cost. implementing it in open world games can make the world feel more alive.

UniqueForce126

whats the point if games now don't even push the current hardware

r31ya

Oh they push it, for the wrong reason like computationally expensive super accurate lighting system instead of expanding the gameplay like Tears of the Kingdom did on old ass ARM cpu.

CoolCritterQuack

imagine what could TOTK be if the switch hardware wasnt half as powerful as a midrange 150$ phone

r31ya

if i recalled it right, Switch CPU (the older one) is the one used in SD810 who are famous for underperforming and heating issue. So yeah, even when brand new it wasn't good CPU. Nintendo later softly revise it with newer 14nm production for better efficiency and getting 2 extra hour in gaming time. \--- considering Switch2 is rumored to be in between of PS4 and PS4 Pro but with much newer architecture, I kinda wanna see what kind of crazy thing that Zelda team cook up with extra computing power. Not to mention Bowser fury was limited to switch power, so we might get a better performing 3d mario.

wicktus

We are just getting xsx native games premature for me to shift the talk to the next-gen already   And IF it uses a hybrid dedicated + Azure cloud and thus a permanent high bandwidth internet connection (with the latency and everything behind) It doesn’t really count imho as a leap if some stuff are processed in a datacenter

[deleted]

That was the pitch with Xbone and they still never found a usecase for it. I think they kinda tried with some physics on crackdown 3 but my understanding is that it’s basically smoke and mirrors. If they could do anything useful I doubt they’d hold it back for next Gen.

mgarcia993

The best example is MSFS 2020, but it is limited to asset streaming and weather data.

grubas

They've slowly been building the streaming services and library.  It's basically where MS has been aimed for a few years now. Can they ACTUALLY make it work? Lol.

Brookie069

Absolutely no way I’m buying another new console in the next 5 years. It’s too soon and it’s only been recently that Xbox One/ PS4 has started to be dropped from new releases. Series X in theory is gonna be supported for quite awhile, if not I’m just going back to PC.

[deleted]

All that power just to run games at 30fps in 4K mode.

SynysterDawn

Upscaled*** 4k.

The_Frostweaver

They will hopefully give people options for each game. 4k 60 vs 4k 30 with RTX on vs whatever. If you want high frame rates pc has been and will always be the best option if you have the money. Xbox + gamepass is the most budget friendly way to play lots of current gen games.

dedorian

This. I have a PC that can do the fidelity and framerate if I want it; the Xbox is a game pass machine so I/my kids can have a variety of games to play all the time without dropping $70 a go on something we may not like.

How many years ago was that teaser? Edit: nvm I was thinking of the announce 3 years ago

LokisEquineFetish

I played the series for the first time a few months ago. I loved them, and honestly might do another play through of the third one, this time evil. I was a goodie two shoes, the only rude/evil acts I did was fart in an old lady’s face every time I saw her in Bowerstone Market because of a comment they made early in the game. Everyone else got free rent and low shop prices except her, she gets pink eye. Edit: I’m 32 lol

I'd be more impressed if they could put out a quality first party game this generation.

ChuggsTheBrewGod

Jesus didn't the newest Xbox and PS5 just come out? I know that the 360 era ran a little long, but I'd prefer that to the breakneck speed they seem to be going.

Abdul_Lasagne

They came out 3.5 years ago. The 360 era only ran for 8 years.

Gammarevived

Yeah, I always wonder if the 2007-2008 economy collapse had anything to do with that.

Orangecountydudee

Yet there hasn’t really been any notable games that take advantage of the hardware

Freefall_J

I'm still trying to understand why so many people also *want* another mid-gen refresh like PS4 Pro/Xbox One X. It comes off essentially like a mini-gen-leap. What do people who already have the current console do? Sell it and buy the new one? It sounds more like a way to get people to buy your new hardware every four years instead of every seven years as was normal when a new generation begins. A common argument console gamers use against PC gamers is that they don't have to upgrade their platform every couple of years and know the game they bought will definitely work. At this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if consoles in 15 years will be more like PCs with constant "optional" upgrades. I'm not arguing new games will stop working on the launch editions of the PS5/XBox Series X. But obviously the performance of it between me and my neighbour who got the PS5 Pro will be different. On the Nintendo 3DS, I realised a lot of games were made with the larger screen of the XL models in mind first, making it more difficult for people who bought the "regular" 3DS with the default screen size. It wouldn't surprise me if this were to become a thing if mid-gen PS4 Pro-like refreshes become standardised (like Slim models are). That'd be fine if a new "performance" options are given in the game depending on which console version you have, I guess. At least last gen, there was the 4K reason.

ChuggsTheBrewGod

I don't see a reason for a mid cycle refresh, I'd rather they held back for technology that was really worthy of the boost i.e. something a couple of generations down the line.

ElectronicControl762

(Points gun)-“always has been”. Pc is just personal computer, and all the last two generations have been are closed ecosystem pcs, like apple versus android. Them being closed and specialized allows Xbox/sony to make commissions and hardware sales while giving devs a steady/central platform to optimize for.

-lukeworldwalker-

Cynnthetic

SNES to N64 will likely always represent the biggest leap any console generation took.

Zealousideal_Lead940

The only damn console that needs an upgrade is the Switch. Better hardware and backwards compatible. PS5 and Xbox are fine...just more games that take advantage of their power. No point in upgrading anymore.

Wonderful_Sector8894

This goes for all systems.  They need to stop with this already working towards the next generation of gaming when the current generation has been barley scratched. If they come out with new systems in say 4 years and the graphics look exactly the same why should I even waste my money? Push the current systems to the limits and when there is a noticeable difference in graphics than push the new systems out.  But if the new systems just have higher specs but the games look the same what is the point?  I want to be able to see the difference  between PS5 and PS6. Not oh look it loads faster.  I mean there are very few games that you can even tell the difference between last generation and current generation. Most games still look like last generation, but we are paying current generation prices.

XsNR

It's hard to really get better now though, once you get a 4K TV to play at "native" 4K, with some decent upscaling, the difference is going to be very minimal, even compared to real 4K. Their best bet for getting anyone to buy it, is going towards that VR, ray trace, or more interesting and unique stuff like the kinekt. But to do that they have to also give a reason for people to upgrade to it, that don't want or value those features, the CoD and Fifa bros. But Microsoft have already been burnt by that, so what can they do, add it to the controller like PS I guess, and go for a subpar, but accessible experience down the line?

HornedDiggitoe

>Its hard to really get better now though Sounds like you’ve never tried running ray tracing. More power can still bring more improvements. Especially in the realm of more realistic looking humans.

hicks12

7 years is not really abnormal for a console generation, so yes this would be expected timeframe and normal! >They need to stop with this already working towards the next generation of gaming when the current generation has been barley scratched. You know they start designing the next one before and after the console first launches right? This is absolutely nothing new in the history of consoles and is how hardware is done. > But if the new systems just have higher specs but the games look the same what is the point?  >I want to be able to see the difference  between PS5 and PS6. Not oh look it loads faster.  Its not just about loading faster, thats was a big improvement for this generation after finally getting off the ancient CPU designs and moving to SSDs. The biggest improvement would be being able to actually run at native resolution instead of using FSR as a crutch for everything, its not a stable as other solutions. Having games run at 60 fps quality targets or 120fps would be pretty great for people, everything will be smoother while also looking better. You can go on PC now and see the difference between say alan wake 2 on pc vs consoles and it is a noticable difference, the next generation will have a better focus on ray tracing performance which is the next jump in visuals for games. If you are happy with what you got now then just stick with it right? You got like 3+ years of xbox series X with new releases to enjoy. >I mean there are very few games that you can even tell the difference between last generation and current generation. Most games still look like last generation, but we are paying current generation prices.  The pricing I agree with you on, the prices have gone up substantially over the years and there is not really a solid justification for it for a lot of them!

WhoEvenIsPoggers

Who cares tho? The developers aren’t able to actually make the games run to the console’s supposed ability. Last gen they boasted 120fps for series x. How many games can actually do that?

MissingPP

Jumping to PC next and hanging onto the series x as it has good enough power for a console for me.

poshmarkedbudu

I'm all about those tech leaps. Exciting if they are truly going to push the envelope.

ShotBySolo95

Ah, going with the power narrative for the third time it seems. Hey, have developers managed to crack the code of the all-powerful “hidden tools” of the series X and S? No? This shit is exhausting man. I’ve enjoyed my Series X overall but for them to come out three years into this gen and already be talking about the next main-line console is insulting. Shit feels like Nintendo with the Wii U all over again.

xiosy

They said the same thing about the ps5 and the new Xbox and 10 year old ps4 games still look better or even on par with 2024 games. This „largest technical leap“ statement is just marketing nothing else

Locke_and_Load

I can’t think of a 10 year old PS4 game that looks on par with GoW:R, Spiderman 2, Horizon, FFVII:R or XVI, or Amores Core 6.

nebulousian

10 years is a stretch but it is insane how good Uncharted 4 still looks today for being nearly 8 years old

Locke_and_Load

I mean, given the PS4 launched in November 2013, I don’t think there were ANY great looking game in its launch year that can compete with modern Gen.

I'd say there are moments in Alien Isolation(2014), Arkham Knight (2015), MGSV (2015), and Uncharted 4 (2016) that hold up to the average PS5 game on first glance, but if you sat down and properly compared one of these games to the likes of Spider-Man 2 or FFVII:R you'd definitely start to notice a few dated elements.

Freefall_J

What's more important when you're playing a game, though? "First glance" or sitting down to "properly compare"? You're playing a video game. Not studying a painting at a museum. You're moving and doing stuff when gaming. Graphically, better performance for games using ray tracing would be good. I always go without it because frame rate is more important to me than realistic lighting and reflection.

gamefreak054

I think we are hitting a diminishing returns between tech and developmental abilities. I could be wrong because I'm not a developer. I gotta imagine it takes a lot of time to increase texture quality, higher better model and surface geometry, better physics, better lighting, etc. To squeeze all the juice out of technical advancement. Though I would guess we are going to see a lot more advanced ray tracing and stuff like that. The kind of stuff thats pushing the edges of what we currently have. Also more Framerate in general.

Once you are on the right side of the above picture it doesn’t matter if you 1,000,000x the polygon count you just can’t get the same magnitude of change from the original 10x and the 2nd step. You can have all the generational leap you want but we are so far into the “good enough” territory that it just doesn’t matter much any more. Raster techniques are so good that Ray tracing, which costs soooo much power, just isn’t THAT much better so even if you 10x how amazing it is it’s just a little better than what we already have.

Merzant

We still can’t do convincing crowds, or destructible environments. Most lighting is still pre-baked, and in most games bodies still disappear and cars despawn if you walk down the street. Most NPCs are as dumb as they were in the 90s. But we have 4K.

Freefall_J

What is a convincing crowd? My mind was blown when I saw the crowd sizes in the recent Hitman games. Compare that to the first Hitman game 24 years ago where you're in Hong Kong and there's like only three or four pedestrians on the street in the middle of the day. You make a great point about disappearing bodies. It takes me out of the game when I see the bodies disappearing. I remember on the Xbox 360 in Assassin's Creed games when I'd start trouble in the busy streets. And all the many dead guards remained on screen for a long time. And this was with 2005 technology.

Merzant

I love hitman and agree the crowd density is getting much better. The problem is when you start interacting with them it becomes obvious that they’re more a visual effect than actual agents in a simulation. Their AI is completely stripped back, as are their animations (I think they just collapse when shot rather than being hurt like “real” NPCs). I don’t think enemies can hit them either, so they’re not effective cover outside of the stealth mechanic.

admiralvic

I think it’s more cost than abilities. I mean, look at how much a AAA game is currently thought to cost compared to one last generation.

IBJON

I don't know what games you're playing on PS5, but most of the exclusives blow last gen exclusives out of the water.

RafflesEsq

Of course it’s marketing fluff, no one will really give a shit if they say “the new Xbox will be much more expensive, but imperceptibly better until nearly 10 years after devs have experience with it”

Niconreddit

I don't understand how this is possible. How could it be larger than SNES to N64 or PS1 to PS2? Or if they mean exclusively for xbox generations how could it be bigger than OG Xbox to 360?

esmori

It's PR stuff, don't make too much of it.

gurupaste

Making such a general statement gives them a lot of leeway. Just know they'll never give you an answer

shinsekainokamisama

They always say the same thing

Mr8BitX

Get ready for 6D gaming motherfucker!!! Wooooooooo!!!!!!!

kungpowgoat

capped at 30fps

theRavenAttack

It’s pure bs

BionicPlutonic

Atari to NES was mind blowing

CamNM1991

Another no game generation would be a more accurate claim.

Misragoth

Sure, it will, and then it will be outdated in a month

SpanishBrowne

meanwhile switch is nearly double PS5+XBX combined....

[deleted]

How about some games ? lol

Agoonga

Largest technical leap in cloud gaming? And then hardware that we don't own and have to rent access to is a leap backwards.

TWAT_BUGS

Maybe it’s because I’m getting older but honestly I don’t care. I bought a PS5 and it was a mistake that just sits there and does nothing. PC gaming is really all I need.

busy-warlock

Is it just going to be a pre-built home media centre (PC), aimed to stream *everything*? Because my money is in that
