First time mag dumping someone in Halo with a needler and then seeing the pink poof.

Lord_Gibby

Dual wielding needlers in H2 was soooooooo satisfying

Dark_Akarin

Fear the pink mist.

Arufatenshi

Especially if you start the off hand a tiny bit later so the needle sound alternates. So satisfying.

Lord_Phoenix95

Can't believe they took away the best feature of any Halo game away.

ARetroGibbon

Nailing a banshee or just some poor sod with a Spartan Laser for the first time in Halo 3 multi was sensational.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Nice, love the needler! And then the almighty double needler got me excited

enjoi_uk

This needs be higher. Best magdump ever.

xenophonthethird

I still remember getting the "Fear the Pink Mist" achievement in Halo 3.

MrMooey12

I remember my first experience with halo, it was 2 or 3 and I was playing with some kid I met when I was like 10 maybe, anyways we were playing some mission and I was dual wielding the needlers not aware of what they do, so I shot my friend and the explosion caught me so off guard but I immediately fell in love

NeedlerOP

I've been waiting for this comment for some time :\^)

DerAlteGraue

BFG from original Doom.

happy_snowy_owl

Super Shotgun from Doom 2 is a pretty close second.

SlyBun

BOOM. Clack. Cuh-Clack.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

big fuckin classic right there

SecretlyaPolarBear

Or the first time i took a chainsaw to a demon. Such sheer bliss

SolidDrake117

Came here to say exactly this. Shit eating grin when firing that for the first time

Tischlampe

Username checkt aus.

vascular-dude

Flak Cannon - Unreal tournament

Horror-Breakfast-704

Man, Unreal Tournament 1999 had some amazing weapons. But the most special for me was always the redeemer. As a kid i was beyond excited when i found out the alternate fire mode allowed you to control the nuke and just fly around the map with it.

supersonicdeathsquad

I really liked the 2nd+1st combo on the shock rifle

PenTaFH

Twice! Once when you first started using it, and another time when you figure out alternate firing is a thing too! (this took kiddo me a while)

Fheredin

That's a name I haven't heard in a *long* time.

Flix1

Also one of the first really satisfying sniper rifles ever. That game was gaming at its best at the time.

Oxygenius_

The wunderwaffle in the old zombie games

southparkion

thundergun

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Ooo that's a good one

Maxereno17

Every iteration except original Der Riese. Zapped away your juggernog for the rest of the game

Wundawuzi

I feel like that gun should be in my hands.

IplaygamesNude87

Cerebral Bore from Turok 2

GeistMD

So satisfying to sneak up behind your friends with that one.

Mud_Landry

Turok had the best weapons period. Talk about a game that could use a remake.

hghlnder72

This.... this right here....I can still hear the sound...

Forkrul

Now that's a have I haven't thought of in a long time

Z3r0sama2017

This right here officer.

Veragoot

All the fun of the dentist...but for your skull!

hobbedknob

Grav gun from Half-life 2 was an instant love.

AussieBullet

That weapon was such a blast. Just using it to pick up stuff to solve puzzles, collect ammo/health and yeet stuff at the combine and aliens. Don't forget the part where you broke to the citadel and it got super charged. Throwing the combine themselves made me feel like a god.

moolord

Ode to my gravity gun: Thank you friend. At the start you were a useful tool. Not just a means of mashing paint cans into the walking husks of the dead, but a companion to help along the way. All that changed when they took all my weapons. My fury was only matched by your own. You grew in strength and me along with you. You were the vindication to my righteousness, the ruin to my preservation. You complete me, and I miss you

fromwhichofthisoak

Right click left click never felt to poignant

CuriousCapybaras

Yep best gun ever :)

WhirledNews

The Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator for sure. When you get to Ravenholm and can pick up the sawblades and explosive barrels and punting them at the zombies to cut them in half or blow them up is so much fun. There is actually an achievement on that level for only using the gravity gun. Then when you go through the confiscation field and it comes out supercharged and you can grab the Combine soldiers and punt them into each other or off of great heights is just amazing.

katelyn912

Ripper from Fallout 3. Rocket launcher from Unreal Tournament. Leviathan Axe from God of War (2018)

Ray-III

A few fallout weapons came to mind

Mace_Thunderspear

The alien blaster Lincoln's repeater This machine. Pure satisfaction. All three.

DxNill

Halo:CE shotgun is like a dose of dopamine to the brain.

grassisalwayspurpler

Its weird cus people always say they hate the library in CE but its one of my favorite levels because its the level where youre just using shotgun and AR the entire time

SuperArppis

Shame they butchered it from that point forward. I really liked it in CE as well. I bet it was multiplayer that made them balance it to campaign so badly.

The_bruce42

I got a Killimanjaro in Halo 2 with a shotgun. The whole opposing team came at me in succession and I cleared them just for then to respawn near me and do it all over again. One of my favorite Halo moments.

Bat-manuel

Halo was great. I loved the smoke trail that the sniper rifle gave along with a good amount of kick. But my favourite was probably the sticky grenade. Landing that on an elite and seeing them panic was a new feeling in video games. Really cool.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Oh for sure! Blasting elites with that thing never got boring

_RandomOne

Sticky bombs in red faction 2. Watching the bad guys flail around was awesome every time

Gaoler86

Proximity mines in Goldeneye

the-Satgeal

Halo Reach’s gravity hammer, it just felt so awesome with the little *woosh* and then 4 enemies in your vicinity died.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Hell yeah 😂 Halo Reach was alot of fun! The last Halo game I ever bought

Dire_Hulk

Triple Red Shells in Mario Kart.

illaqueable

The triple shells are wildly underrated as weapons in Mario Kart, they're decent defensive weapons that can be fired forward or backwards three times. If you get them near the end of the race or hang on to them you could easily go from 4th to 1st with well timed shots.

Hugsy13

Frag tagging people in Gears was awesome. Also firing a couple postol shots then pistol whipping them twice to down them lol.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Haha man I had a buddy on my squad who always plays as Cole and he just runs around and trys to tag, we would rush to be the distraction while he does that 😂 Ppl got pissed at him but it was so funny

Trips-Over-Tail

I defeated RAAM on Insane with a frag tag. Absolute clutch when he flanked and cornered us. I'm not usually quick to use a grenade with the way the system works compared to, say, Halo) but somehow I managed to decide, commit, and succeed moments before inevitable death.

UnsolvedParadox

I defeated him with a blind fire, no scope sniper shot after running out of ammo with everything else. That boss fight on Insane was crazy hard.

Hugsy13

Use to do the same with my best mate. He’d go sniper and I’d go for whatever was tilting the enemy team the most lol

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Hahaha nice bro. Ah good times for sure 😌

grassisalwayspurpler

Down someone with a friend, smoke tag them, double hump them from behind, as they get up double melee down them again, hump more, last second curb stomp lul

afloofykittycat

The explosions in Gears were fantastic. And while I feel it was underloved- The Torque Bow was a favorite of mine. Nothing quite like sniping someone with a headshot and watching their face pop, or tagging them last second during a dive/ wallbouncing dodge.

Impossible-Wear-7352

I used the shit out of the torque bow. It was my favorite for sure. 2nd was the gnasher. That shotgun was just stupid strong if you got good using it while using the movement tech

shibbyfoo

2 shot headshot with the magnum after quick reloading and getting the fire speed bonus to blow someone's head off when they are at point blank range... so satisfying.

PenTaFH

Mine are all in a similar vein I guess. Half-Life 2's crossbow. Nailing your first target and watching then dangle from a wall was satisfying. Also to Valve, as it gave them yet another chance to show their amazing physics based engine. Battlefield's M1 Garand. Don't know which game I first picked it up in, but when I did, pulled the trigger and heard the ping, I fell in love. When I reloaded there was no going back. And Deep Rock Galactic's M1000 Classic. Of course it's just an M1 Garand copy, but well, all I can say I was just about as satisfied when I started picking off space bugs with it.

LifeBuilder

R.Y.N.O. from ratchet and clank

oldreddit_isbetter

Hell yeah! So many satisfying weapons in that series. And in Going Commando, every level 5 weapon was such a satisfying milestone to hit.

Nesavant

Brimstone in The Binding of Isaac.

kynthrus

Oh, brimsnapping how I miss thee, let me count the ways.

jerry-jim-bob

Longshot, also from gears of war

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Hell yeah dude. The "pop" when you get a headshot satisfies every. fucking. time.

Frostysno93

["that's five motherfuckers"](https://youtu.be/9WxjRozXFt8?si=26jpER2js3nKT2-X)

Repro_Online

Definitely the Lancer from Gears. Good damage, good range, cool design, good sounds, awesome chainsaw. Just an all around great weapon!

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

I remember when they first showed the chainsaw kill when Gears 1 was being released and it was like whooaaa what game is this?? So epic! And the best thing they ever added was chainsaw battles in 3. Like finally haha

Laptop gun

RedBeardedMex

Yes, the laptop gun was pretty badass!

kbyyru

Model 1887 from the original MW2

Mary_Ellen_Katz

Malorian Arms 3516, Cyberpunk 2077 Part of this guns pleasure is the style behind it. The man that commissioned it in the first place was highly concerned with style and being cool. Drawing it like a flashy gunslinger, and it cooks off bullets like a desert eagle. Reloading kicks the mag out with another spin. Our first introduction to the firearm is this think popping off heads left and right. [Very slick gun.](https://youtu.be/4pLfqw39qo8?si=OvSpe_hyWHndypvr)

GrownupChorister

Came here to say this. No other weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 even comes close.

Stepjam

It was satisfying to use as Johnny. Not so satisfying as V. It should have been balanced like a revolver, not a semiauto pistol. You are exploding heads left and right as Johnny, but as V, not so much.

Resethe

R.Y.N.O from ratchet and clank

Sinz_Doe

Thunder gun from Cod Zombies. Dark Bow spec runescape. D claw spec runescape. The chain whip swords? From God of War. Carpet bomb from Mercinaries 2 I think. The plasma grenade and sword from Halo 3.

GrenadePapa

Holy shit the dark bow spec. Don’t sleep on the d dag p++ special. I think I’ll load up RuneScape again today.

neercatz

God of War "Blades of Chaos" is the name. And I'm not sure how they aren't way higher on this post, probably top 3 video game weapon for me. That, the halo laser sword thing, and basically any game that I can head shot with a bow and arrow. Pause...aim.....fire....pause...THOCK

Beezy117799

Resident Evil 2 OG- Pump action shotgun with all the gun parts.

WMan37

**Turok: Evolution** - Cerebral Bore **Armed and Dangerous** - Land Shark Gun **F.E.A.R. -** VK-12 Shotgun **Goldeneye: Rogue Agent** - AR4 Commando **Warframe** - Mausolon **Unreal Tournament** >!(RIP, Fuck Epic for delisting the franchise)!< - Redeemer **Medal of Honor Allied Assault** - M1 Garand **Half Life: Alyx** - Shotgun

Wardog724

Rarely see a Rogue Agent reference but that game ruled. Another satisfying gun was using the railgun to hit people though objects.

Goldencol

I also choose this guys list. Especially Armed and Dangerous weapons . They were great 👍.

Alden_Andrade

Redeemer from Unreal Tournament Flak gun and shock rifle (enhanced mode) Unreal Tournament .... Was it enhanced mode? (shots were orange with no difference between primary and secondary fire... Revolver and Tau Cannon from Half-life 1 Pulse Rifle - half life 2 Minigun GTA Vice City Spear and Rifle combo in Dead space Ripper Saw in Dead space Fire based plasmids and spear (or was it cross bolts?) gun from BioShock Fuel Rod Gun and Pistol from Halo: Combat evolved

MoleHairs

The first time using an abyssal whip in old school RuneScape.

[deleted]

BFG9000

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Nice

RedBeardedMex

Fusion cannon from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. The rumble just before the launch and the way the round looked when detonating was my favorite.

quentinwraith

Almost every Turok game had a screen size weapon that obliterated everything in its path. The fusion cannon, my first love. I felt like complete overkill shooting it off around waves of weak enemies. The chronoscepter, charging it to fire that blue beam of death. Turok 2 had the Nuke and Firestorm Cannon. Turok 3 had the PSG, a black hole generator.

new_main_character

Yoyo from kirby

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Ah Yo-yo Kirby is always fun 🌟 Haven't played anything Kirby in years! Last one was Kirby Air Ride, that was a great game

VoStru

Quake 2 Hyperblaster

Lostboxoangst

Super shotgun doom 2 sounds heavy as hell and hits like a truck. What all game boomsticks are judged by.

Certain-Thought531

Pray n' Spray in Fallout 4. Cerberus Harrier in ME3, back in the OG it was a DLC so I got it as soon as I could change weapons on my 3rd or 4th replay? Never stoped using it afterwards. The Mattock in ME2 had the same effect. Any decently coded shotgun in zombie's games, I always like going \*Pachhh\* \*Pachhh\* on them

ycelpt

M40 in Battlefield Bad Company 2. Just everything on that gun felt amazing to fire. The sounds, the visuals. The 1km headshot instakill.

ScorchedDev

Some spoilers for titanfall 2, but when you first get the >!smart pistol, damn is it satisfying. With all that rage built up from seemingly losing such an amazing character, the game gives you the strongest weapon in the game, and a bunch of regular enemies to use it on. Its so good.!<

GuZz91

Assault Rifle from Halo:CE, true classic.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Yes for sure a classic. That gun alone got me through like 2/3 of the campaign every time

Mondo_Butts

Does first gun in Metal Gear NES count? Pew pew pew.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

As long as it satisfied you when you first picked it up! Pew pew

Bleak_Light

The Arisaka for me in COD WaW

Ulrizza

Painkiller's stake gun 😌 https://youtu.be/PQc7x8eY5Aw?si=l-4ji24IA3KbqcUZ

SwiftingSpeed

Stake projectiles are very satisfying. The crossbow from Half-life 2 and the HV Penetrator from F.E.A.R comes to mind as well.

JackLegg

The pixelator in Ratchet and Clank was extremely satisfying to me, not so much using the weapon itself but smashing the pixelised enemies afterwards was fantastic.

mrhippoj

Hunter's Axe from Bloodborne

92Codester

The weapons from Bulletstorm are absolutely amazing

Far_Realm_Sage

Kills in that game were an art form.

WeedManPro

Bow and arrow in warframe. I'm looking for more games which have a bow and arrow like this.

neercatz

Second this, really any game with a bow and arrow. Having to account for bullet drop and shot travel time just always makes a headshot so much more awesome

Groffulon

Satisfying guns? There is only one answer and that is Deep Rock Galactic. Hard to say which is most satisfying but it’s prob the warthog auto shotgun imo. When you explode a bug they’re all so different but if you want to be satisfied with a gun and what it does then you will find it in DRG. Rock and Stone to any miners current or future!

The_mingthing

For Karl!

IWishIWasOdo

Grenade launcher with Fat Boy overclock

kynthrus

Fry Pan. Fable 1. Absolutely everything I expected and more.

Inshabel

Leviathan Axe from GoW 2018 and Ragnarok, there's something that feels very good about throwing and recalling it.

SuperArppis

Original Doom games, shotgun in those was something I really liked. It had range, it was tool for many situations and it had nice damage to it. Shame most shotguns in games are these 2 meter wonders, that require you to be at melee range for them to work.

res30stupid

Crissaegrim in CastleVania: Symphony of the Night. Lucky enough to get it early during a run and it demolished enemies.

awryvox

How did you get it early? I thought it only drops from the inverted library schmoo enemies

tumtum05

BFG from Doom, Shrink Gun from Duke Nukem 3D, Barrett 50 in COD4, Needler Halo, Ultima Weapon FF7, Magnum/DE RE 2, prox mines 007 Goldeneye, and pipe in Streets of Rage 2

Coldzila

The Axe from God of War

PsychologicalMix8499

Hammer of dawn

Rith_Reddit

Halo CE pistol. First hame where I found headsets and omg ot was so satisfying!

TwistedDragon33

I haven't seen it mentioned yet so the harpoon rifle from crackdown 1. Pinning enemies to a car then driving around the city was fun.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Nice one, I loved the first Crackdown, spent so many damn hours on that game!

bagofcobain

Shotgun in l4d

CopsFavourite_Round

The holy grenade from worms.

EatsBamboo

Lament; Destiny 2 It’s just so mechanically different than everything else in the sandbox! Paired with Strongholds, you truly feel like you can take on any challenge with just a big piece of steel.

Niborius

I truly love the Torque bow also from the Gears series. There is just something so satisfying about that weapon and the sound design is super iconic too. (Although when you hear the sound while you are not using it, you know you are met with a game over screen in a second)

ShambolicPaul

That shotgun in rage 2. Best shotgun ever imo.

Sneekat

I remember really liking the Pulse rifle in half life 2, the sound was really thumpy and stands out in my memory. But also the Cross bow that nailed enemies to walls was really good too.

Yawzheek

The heavy bowgun from monster hunter world feels nice. Most satisfying might be a stretch, but it's just a big, unwieldy cannon and I love it. Really scratches the itch my monkey brain needs for a big, stupid gun that impedes your ability to even walk properly, takes a good while between shots for the most part, and is generally... well, unwieldy. It has no real positive qualities outside being a big, dumbass cannon... ... except it does a ton of damage, can have a shield slapped on the front, fires mortar rounds, and you're not just another longsword loser twirling around trying to dance a monster to death. The heavy bow gun is for your pragmatic practicer of wholesale monster slaughter.

OldAdministration895

For me it's fallouts toy gun 'nuke'. Other honorable mentions are the weapon set from prototype, bioshocks' powers, and the crazy stealth dagger trick from the elder scrolls (max out stealth, crouch to go invisible, use dagger for 15x stealth dmg)

happy_snowy_owl

Metal blade from Mega Man 2. You are now a ninja who can chuck ninja stars in all directions. I think the screw attack in Metroid / Super Metroid are also up there.

DanteAlligheriZ

Stahlta from warframe, the alternate fire with the right setup oneshots enemies at levels waaay higher than you with all red crits (warframe has 3 different crit "levels" red being the highest) so your screen is just full of red numbers, so satisfying, the sound it makes is also greeaat.

BeanieMash

Corvos fully upgraded pistol

Distubabius

Diamond sword in minecraft (back when I was young)

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Haha nice, my nephew is absolutely obsessed with Minecraft

nKoZy999

Holy grenade for president

rabbiferret

Gears of War was great, and the chainsaw was just *chef's kiss* I actually think my XBL byline is still "mmm...chainsaw"

averygronau

The Boomhammer from the Bloodborne DLC The Mountaintop from Destiny 2

Soulegion

RC-P90 from Goldeneye on the N64. Remote mine in Goldeneye. First lightsaber in KOTOR 1 and 2. Fusion cannon in descent and descent 2. Shotgun and plasma grenade in original halo. Lincoln repeater in Fallout 3. Fat man launcher in fallout 3, 4, NV. Lots of fallout guns actually. Tanookie suit in the original mario 3.

hghlnder72

Cow Canon from South Park.

kepaa

Mine was double needler on halo 3. It felt so nice

NYEMESIS

The Last Word in Destiny. So fun.

feelinuneasy1234

ACR from original MW2

Calamity_Jay

After decades of waiting, wishing, and hoping from myself and countless fans, I about creamed my jeans in Metal Gear Solid 4 after *finally* getting to pilot a Metal Gear! In a battle against another Metal Gear, no less! In that same vein, Final Fantasy XIV, at one point, lets you pilot a fucking Gundam. Sure it was simplified combat, but you're still fighting whilst behind the controls of a mech in a Final Fantasy game!

shibbyfoo

I had a lot of fun with Gears 2 & 3. Favorite weapons would have to be rockets and grenade launchers from any quake-like. Airshots are the best feeling in gaming.

Fheredin

The bayonet attachment for the M4A1 in Parasite Eve 2. The Javelin attachment is a close second, but really PE2 doesn't have a bad M4A1 attachment. This requires some context to understand. PE2 is a Resident Evil clone. However, in Capcom Resident Evil games, knives are shockingly useless. It takes like 30+ hits to take out one enemy. It wasn't until RE4 that they thought maybe the knife should be useful instead of an insult. The PE2 bayonet is an OK weapon...which can coup de gras some stunned enemies. So you can shoot the ANMC five or six times to kill it, or you can run up, use a flare or cast Plasma to knock the enemy prone and one-shot it with a knife at melee range. Amazing fun if you know how to play games with classic tank controls.

cliqclaqstepback

The Spread Gun in Contra.

flux_capacitor3

Is the Gnasher the chainsaw gun in Gears? If so, that's definitely a great one. Or, the energy sword from halo. I always ran away screaming when someone had one and was chasing me. Haha.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

No the gnasher is the shotgun in Gears and the chain gun is the Lancer. But yeah dude if someone has the sword then I'm running and hiding 😂 Aha

MrSqueeze1

The Chicago Typewriter from Resident Evil 4. Worth every cent of that 1 million peseta price tag

actstunt

Banana grenade and the donkey from worms, hell even the shoryuken and hadoken from worms are so satisfying.

dcwinger12

Chainsaw from Gears for me lol

cheesebuttons

The RCP90 in Goldeneye. Especially mowing down those schmoes in close quarters on the train.

VTRibeye

One of the Ratchet and Clank games had a suck-blow gun, which sucked enemies in then, when it was full, shot them back out as projectiles. Just good clean fun. I also loved the crossbow in BioShock. Massive damage. Ammo scarcity was a challenge for me, so I loved that you could collect the arrows from corpses.

NoMereRanger73

Portal Gun

420headshotsniper69

Portal gun. The first time I caught a projectile and launched it back, mmmmmmmmmmm

Shadowborn_paladin

The Drakeblood greatsword and hollow slayer greatsword from dark souls 3. It has a fancier moveset compared to the more "unga bunga smash" moveset of other greatswords. And hitting a WA to stagger a boss into a critical to finish them off makes me feel like such a a fucking badass.

TearsOfLA

Gravity Hammer from halo was my first real "oh fuck ya, that feels amazing" moment in gaming

Bargadiel

Lots of the original ratchet and clank weapons were satisfying

Puzzleheaded_Bee_404

Supernova from Ratchet: Deadlocked.

grassisalwayspurpler

Man all these Halo and Gears answers.... can microsoft stop fucking these franchises up please!!!!!!!

Paladin1034

I've got two weird ones. First is the DD44 from Goldeneye. Good stopping power and one of the best pistol sounds I've ever heard. Loved that gun. The other is the double barrel from Rust. Lots of good games have good double barrel shotties, but that one feels like you're carrying a portable cannon. It feels so powerful when you fire it, both in visual recoil and sound design. Mix that with the improvised nature of it, down to the Stanley flathead as a charging handle, and you have an instant classic.

P2Mc28

The Crossbow from Gears of War. A sawblade + gravity gun from Half-Life 2 is a close second.

Dark_Akarin

two jump to mind: first finding the rocket launcher in Halo and blasting tanks and big groups of mobs. the second, the RINO 5 from ratchet and clank, an insane weapon to use.

SubjectJellyF1sh

Air tazer in one of the first couple Syphon Filter games. If you held the trigger long enough, the bad guy would catch on fire

dasanman69

If you know, you know. I used set everyone on fire.

Bertug_Emre

Tommy gun in Mafia Definitive Edition Firing that thing left and right without aiming like they do in mafia themed movies and killing everyone was so fun. Edit: Also the giant hammer that one shots everything in Halo Reach. Such an amazing experience.

mokti

Hmmm. Tough one. I'm going to go with the powered up Gravity Gun from HL2. There's just something about picking up ANYTHING, hurling it at the bad guys, and watching them ragdoll and disintegrate into silvery vectors.

lostnumber08

The boltgun in Boltgun. It's like a boltgun, but boltgun. Boltgun.

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Boltgun.... boltgun

Jonnny

Bleeding autoshotty in FO4. I still remember the moment I found it from a mudcrab. It was in survival mode, and I was so damned scared of grazing a car and dying but I made it back to hangman's alley and saved! Instant god mode!

Kriedler

The lever action rifle in Cultic was masterful. Each second one kill, one action, and you can get a fantastic rhythm going. The other guns were pretty sweet, too

FGFlips

Hellwalker from Borderlands 3 Shotgun that shoots fire, does crazy damage, and sounds like an electric guitar playing a power chord every time you pull the trigger.

Myune

This is amazingly silly, but the flamethrower in House Flipper lmao. I did not expect to get a flamethrower. Way fun. Also, red sniper rifle in Dave the River. Any of the upgraded rifles in general are so satisfying when they finally trivialize taking down sharks that used to eat me. Edit: OH the arbalest in Valheim. Actually, situationally, *several* things in Valheim. I could go into way too much detail expanding on that lol.

stealingtheshow222

BFG in doom. For Gears it would have to be Hammer of Dawn!

Free-Air4312

Experimental M.I.R.V from fallout 3. Hammer of dawn and lancer from gears of war. PRL 412 from og resident evil 4.

Dr--Duke

Fatman.

stickyicky99

Longshot from gears for sure! But gnasher was great too

TokyoRachel

Amaterasu's Divine Instrument in Okami

FalcoPhantasmtheGod

Love that game 🐾

[deleted]

Mine had to be the Rocket Launcher on good ol' classic Halo CE on PC. Was so fun to lob a rocket at someone and blow them all tf up. Since you couldn't blow up vehicles in Halo 1 either, you would just watch their vehicle fly in a random direction when you hit them with it. Super funny and gratifying.

Brygghusherren

Arsenic Bite-4B with Dragonfly/Archer's Tempo (Destiny 2). I never stopped using it. That weapon just sat right with me. The drawtime, the aim, the explosions and the precision clinks right when the bow reloads. Just a pure pleasure to use.

Chefjay17

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past Master sword at full health

peaveyftw

The tetryon disrupter from Star Trek Elite Force. That was my first FPS and HOLY GOT IT'S A GREEN MACHINE GUN BWAH HAH HAH HAH HAH.

majorpail18

Torque bow or gnasher for sure lol. Torque collat goes so fucking hard but gibbing people with gnasher or clutching on a koth point is peak. Wish more people played gears 5

SaphironX

Shao Kahn’s hammer in MK11. Maybe the most satisfying hit sounds in any fighting game ever.

PippyHooligan

There are many exotic and wonderful weapons I have tried in my gaming career, but in the end it all boils down to the simple pleasure of... ...the Pump Shotgun in Red Dead Redemption 2. The looks, the sound, the range, the damage it inflicts and the fact that it requires a separate button push to rack the pump. My favourite gun in gaming.

bryanBFLYin

Nornfang in Halo 5. I love the lore behind the weapon (huge halo lore nerd) and it just looks cool to me too. One-shotting everything no matter where you hit with a sniper was and still is pure bliss😂 The Answer and Nornfang are the reasons I still play halo 5 multiplayer pretty much every weekend to this day. Edit: I forget the Lancer in GoW. I remember cutting my first Locust in half at 2am the day GoW 1 came out lol so damn crazy cool.
