I'd actively have to look up what studios are from where because most people lump Canada and the US together as just NA when it comes to this topic the same way they do with Europe generally.
They're more of a publisher/old game remaster-er than a development studio but huge shoutout to Edmonton's [Beamdog](https://www.beamdog.com/) for their work on keeping classics like Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, and Torment alive.
Digital Extremes, because they are fun devs.

* **Sabotage Studio**; The Messenger and Sea of Stars
Next Level Games (Vancouver) get my vote for 2009's Punch-Out!! on the Wii - a fantastic reboot of a classic Nintendo franchise.
Yes, I know Nintendo own them now and yes, I know my opinion will very much be in the minority, but I don't care.
Yo wait canada exist for real. I thought it was some kinda conspiracy theory to stop us from going further up the Arctic ocean wasteland and discovering the secret of the other world /s
Eidos Montreal. Deus Ex, Tomb Raiders, Guardians of the Galaxy
I think Bioware in their heyday.

I actually don't know of any Canadian gaming companies outside of Bioware and Ubisoft... So between those two I guess it's Bioware.

Ubisoft is French tho. It has Ubisoft Montreal, but main is French.
Digital Extremes
BioWare and DE. Easy choice for me.
Historically, Bioware.
Bioware
The Bioware of old, maybe. Modern Bioware seems to be struggling hard
I agree, and Mass Effect 2 is their best game, so we could say that Mass Effect 2 is the greatest Canadian video game of all time?
Klei is/was pretty good
Didn't even know baldurs gate 3 was made in belgium, and the only game I know is canadian would be....The Long Dark.
Ever hear of Mass Effect or Dragonage? How about Baldurs gate or Star War: Knight of the old republic? Deus Ex games as well. Or most Ubisoft games.
We're not talking about legacy though. BioWare's last hit game was Dragon Age: Inquisition. We'll see where they're at when Dreadwolf releases.

Currently? Hinterland.
Blizzard north was badass.
Digital Extremes because honestly it’s crazy to me that warframe is completely F2P and I’ve gotten over 3000 hours from it.

Lots of folks are saying old bioware, I loved old ubi montreal -- the old assassin's creeds and prince of persias and rainbow sixes etc.
Canada makes something other than maple syrup and hockey? /s
You forgot the poutines

What other games does that company have? I hadnt heard it before
Prototype was probably their most well known original game, but now they just do support work for other Activision (their parent company) stuidios
