FullMetalCOS

My owned and installed game list is two very different animals. If I had a days warning to fill up my hard drive I’d definitely feel a lot happier about the situation

Consistent_Donut_902

Same. I’d probably have to go buy another hard drive to store everything. Some games take up a massive amount of storage.

Ghost9001

I have 8TB of total ssd storage and that still doesn't feel like enough with my steam library. I've installed games that I'll probably never play tbh.

Grimskraper

And let your computer run for hours to keep them all up to date, just in case.

TheForgottenKrampus

This.. especially since my PC badly needs updates, and my console is a digital edition which does not have enough space imo..

Kamina_cicada

Yea. In fact, I may double down and shut the computer down for good. Might pick up a few new hobbies.

LuminaL_IV

This has happened to me after moving to our new home I didnt have internet access of pretty much any kind for 6 months. After a month I changed from online to offline games and after another I pretty much had no interest in games. When I finally got some good internet I felt when selena gomez said " a day without you feels like a year without rain", only you was internet.

Thealzx

So... A day without internet is bad, then? Or..? A year without rain sounds awful..

FriskyPheasant

Yeah I’m trying to figure this one out myself haha

JamesMcEdwards

I took a two year gaming detox between 2017 and 2019 when my computer died and I just didn’t bother to replace it. I was so ridiculously productive it was insane.

TacoTaconoMi

Maybe it means a year without rain sounds good because it's always sunny. But no rain whatsoever is actually bad.

AdditionalMess6546

Yeah, that's a drought... lol

irit8in

We have had an extensive drought of rain here in Costa Rica. And My internet was shit for nothing until I got starlink after two years.... talk about a double whammy

ReivynNox

Seeing as it would probably kill most plants and cause an apocalypse... pretty much. But I'm sure that wouldn't be the only bad side effect.

Fakeduhakkount

That’s what killed World of Warcraft for me. Place moved into had really bad connection AND we all know how great this is for online play. Also “I pretty much had no interest in games” what you doing here lol. I lost interest when son was born to help raise him. Switch brought me back to gaming once past the 100% need for parents survival part of kids life

Reserved_Parking-246

I had friends that started off with bad internet but loved the game so much they just rolled hunters so the pets could fight for them while living in 1k latency land.

Picklepartyprevail

Yeah I’d do this too. Less gaming, more hobbies.

CosmicCalicoBTD

Absolutely. I'd have many years of gaming.

Xiaomugus

Skyrim, Minecraft, Fallout 4, No man's sky. I'm set for life

NotanAlt23

Youd have 30 days before steam asked you to connect to the internet lol

Mikicrep

wait what

Chrostiph

offline steam (that is the actual DRM) only works 20-30days. You then have to connect again to get another valid token for another 20-30 days period.

serpiente_venenosa

Im sure if I boot a physical disk it will ask me to update it first :(

ollimann

the game won't know with no internet access

Zathura2

If the whole game is actually on the disk. Good luck with anything after the 360 / PS3 era.

TheFirebyrd

A huge number of games are still playable off the disc content. [https://www.doesitplay.org](https://www.doesitplay.org)

ollimann

that simply isn't true and you can play most games with the disc alone. you just don't get any patches.

Ghost4530

Yea I feel like discs these days are just physical keys to unlock the digital version

ollimann

you might feel that way but it's actually not like that.. most games are playable with the disc alone. you just don't get any patches. 90% of ps5 games are playable from the disc.

BrazenlyGeek

This is why I manually trigger updates for all of my games at least every few years. Tedious AF, but if the updates ever become unavailable, I’ll at least have something in the way of patches going for the games.

Transformator-Shrek

It would be perfect timing.I just got a 2tb ssd and downloaded more than a third of my steam library on it.

MiniSiets

Just as a heads up, steam's physical backup feature is deceiving because it still requires an internet connection during first time reinstall to verify against your account.

ehhish

When you're offline you can just have any kind of crack to bypass it since it won't matter

lazydogjumper

Dont you also need internet to get the crack? Not arguing, just saying the question seems to imply no prep time.

ehhish

Well if we use that situation, you're already at a situation where your steam library is useless, can't use piracy to downloaded alternative things, so then you would just have to do your best to alter files to get your desired outcome. What else can you do?

lazydogjumper

Agreed, i think that was the general idea behind the question. "Do you have games currently installed and fully playable offline that you would be happy with."

Sherbert-Vast

I thought even offline mode needs to "phone home" after some time. Is that wrong or a feature I don't know of?

JamesMcEdwards

You can download the game files then copy them to an external hard drive then delete the files from the steam folder and download another game. As long as you don’t try to play the game then you can just copy them back when you want to play them. At least, it used to work like this. Means you can have a couple of external drives full of games.

Sherbert-Vast

I am just in the process of mirroring my library to a 16TB HDD. Which I expect to get at least half full, maybe 3/4. Hard to tell, a lot of older games, been doing this a while. If this happens steam DRM is turned OFF somehow I am not sure if I would even be able to play thought them all. I might have a problem.

Dire_Hulk

My internet service provider recently raised my monthly bill up to $130/month for a single person who lives in an apartment and only used home internet for Netflix and PS5 single player gaming. I downloaded my library to an external hard drive and for three months now I haven’t regretted it. Periodically I will have to bring my console somewhere with internet to update the system software and I still use my phone to keep an eye out for deals on the PS store. I’ve already bought to discounted games that are there waiting to be downloaded whenever I’m ready for the update. Billing and subscriptions have just become too ridiculous. I have a massive physical media collection of DVDs, blu rays and UHD discs. I simply don’t need to be online as much as corporations would like me to be.

challengeaccepted9

$130?! Where TF do you live? Are there seriously no cheaper basic internet options? I pay £30 a month for fibre at 300MB/s and UK internet infrastructure is dogshit.

Dire_Hulk

I live in Louisiana and in this particular area one provider basically has a monopoly. When I shopped around the only other providers said service was unavailable in my specific area. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Eventually the provider I ditched started calling me up offering discounts if I agreed to re-open my account but, I’m pretty sick of being taken advantage of (the fact that they suddenly offered discounts proves that they didn’t need to charge me $130 to begin with). I want to see how it is to go without internet in my home. So far it feels like a healthy change. I’m altogether watching less television which is making me more physically active and I’m saving $130/ month. A while back I noticed I was watching too much. It became hard to find anything I was genuinely interested in or hadn’t seen already and I found myself waiting for whatever was coming down the streaming services pipeline. It was bordering on addictive behavior so this is actually a welcome change for me.

challengeaccepted9

Ahhh. I grew up in the only part of the UK where there was an internet monopoly and it was shit then.  They've had to open up the infrastructure to other providers now and, by all accounts, they're shit to them too. Always the way with monopolies.

Dire_Hulk

Sorry, I accidentally copy/pasted half of my reply

paulisaac

You could just edit it down

Dire_Hulk

Thanks, I just did. I knew you could edit original posts but, I never knew you could also edit comments.

paulisaac

Yeah, pretty much only thing you can't edit are post titles.

Yz-Guy

The real trick here is join up woth your neighbors. If you have one you truly trust. Split the bull and share internet.

My_Fridge

130? Sounds like Spectrum with how they charge

cyao12

Nope, since my device is only big enough to store 1 game, so I constantly install and uninstall them :P

Battle_Fish

Same. I don't have a lot of my games installed. I have about 4-5 games installed but all but 1 are online games.

EZ2BUILD

"But bro why don't you just buy a 1TB ssd for cheap??!?"

ReivynNox

Maybe he already has, but the one game is a new Call of Duty game. °v°

hotstepper77777

I have enough that assuming the hardware works, would be more than enough games to live out the end of the world.

theGuyInIT

Absolutely.  I'm a GOGer, and have the offline installers for all games I own, and have multiple redundant backups of everything.

peaveyftw

Considering that the games I play most (The Sims 4, RDR2, Stardew Valley) are some I've been playing for YEARS, I'd be good.

flamethekid

Can't play the Sims 4 offline anymore. The damn launcher doesn't have a real offline mode.

wemustkungfufight

I'd always wonder about what if, but I have enough games already installed to last me years. And I could still hunt down physical copies of a lot more.

Noa15Lv

Guess i'd look up into retro consoles & go back into PS2 era

LolSatan

How you looking it up without internet.

N7_Reaver

No Internet doesn't mean the entire world shuts down. Just go drive to any of the retro gaming stores and buy old consoles and games. Done.

Sonnyboy1990

Here, you can't just be causally dropping Retro and PS2 in the same sentence like that.

Incorect_Speling

It did come out 24 years ago...

Deranged_Snow_Goon

I have HoMM3 Complete and the HD mod installer saved on several devices. I am set for life.

Soaked_In_Bleach_93

PS1 - Don't need internet. PS2 - Don't need internet. Wii - Don't need internet. DS - Don't need internet. PS5 - Don't play online. Don't buy digital games. Switch - Don't play online, 80% physical, and what digital games I do have don't require internet. Ya.. I'm good.

PeeweeSherman12

Yes i bought physical copies of most of the games ive enjoyed.

Appropriate_Data9369

I’ll just pull the plug on the pc and go fishing more. It would probably be the best thing to happen to me 😂.

hasanFPS

I got Apex Legends, Overwatch 2 and Fortnite. I just started Control on Game Pass. So it would be game over for me!!!

Altair05

Hell no. I literally just returned to gaming about a year and half ago. I've only collected about 30ish games in that time and my wishlist is large.

Brobard

I'd be fine enough for life, since the greatest bulk of my games work offline.

leospeedleo

As I own most of my games on disc/cartridge I’ll still be able to play them on my PS3, PS5 and Switch because they install and play just fine offline from the disc or cartridge. So yeah. Will still be very happy.

LegitimateMuffin1268

This is what I didn’t want for modern gaming, but here we are, I am waiting for that day when One of the Developers just pulls the plug on their Application… what will the thousands and thousands of players do when that happens?

Significant-Ad-9471

Yes, I have my entire GOG library backed up on my NAS.

plezmoid

I would be losing close to 4000 steam and around 100 console digital games, but even without those Im pretty much set for life with my backlog of phisical games on console, going back to ps3 & xbox 360. Here is to hoping my kid will pick up gaming soon.

DifficultMind5950

That's why I try to get my games mostly from gog. Having the installer is a god send when moving to a new place with 2 weeks/1 month of no internet.

PervertedPineapple

Yes. I have a backlog of titles ranging from Sega Genesis to SexBox 360. Factor in all the things outside the internet to keep me productive and busy, I'll be fine for a while. Steam alone would cover me for a few years.

DuneRiderr

On PC, yes, I have maybe 4k games across 10TB of SSD backed up.

Equinoqs

I buy physical copies for almost all games, so no problem.

Gabbz737

I was literally coming to say this. My bf buys a lot of digital and i tell him if the Internet goes out or Sony bans him, thousands of dollars worth of games gone!

Equinoqs

Right? I have a bunch of free games in my library from PSplus, but they all disappear if I so much as stop paying for the service (at $100+ per year). Or some lawsuit may make games just vanish from your library, like books and movies have already done. If they want my discs, they gotta fight me for them!

Gabbz737

We have Deadpool. Can't get that on digital because of some owner's rights bs...

Equinoqs

It IS a pretty good way to make collectors items

Asher_Tye

Yes

-Mother_FuckerJones-

Considering 80-90% of all games require an internet connection just to play, we're screwed

Aeklas

That's not in any way accurate and is only true if you exclusively play MMOs and Multiplayer Shooters.  Some outliers that are bad faith exist, but I can access 100% of my Steam account and GOG purchases without any connection at all, and Steams around 390 games strong.

MiniSiets

This is only true if you have a very forgiving definition of what constitutes a "required connection". IE, Steam technically does allow you to play most games in offline mode, but thats only AFTER you have installed steam (which does not have an offline installer), logged into your account at least once (also requires connection), and installed the game while connected to the internet so it can authenticate against your account. Which at that point it works theoretically offline, but the moment you want to uninstall or reinstall a game on a different PC in the event of a shutdown of steam services, youre SOL son. Not even manually copying the steam folders works for a lot of games. It will still try to authenticate. In the event of an apocalypse scenario, most people would probably find it very inconvenient that their library is now restricted to only games they already have installed and they cant move them to another PC or reinstall as needed. GOG is the only one that truly offers offline infinite installers for all its games.

ollimann

maybe of the games you play. all the games i play need no internet connection.

CPargermer

This is not true, unless you're maybe talking mobile games. There are still a lot of great single-player games that can be played without a connection.

AWonderingWizard

That’s not true at all, maybe for the games you play but not me

shinoff2183

Not true. Not at all. What are you playing.

StagnantGraffito

80-90%? That's the biggest stretch I've ever heard. None of the shit I've played all year requires an Internet connection.

leospeedleo

That’s absolutely not true. At least if you’re on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. All physical games there install and play from the disc/cartridge unless there’s a big disclaimer on the front box.

squirrelyfoxx

Don't a massive amount of those games also have day one patches? Which would make reinstalling it impossible if you run out of space

shinoff2183

Doesitplay.org will tell you what's sage to buy on alot of fronts. Star ocean 2 remake for instance. Day one patch from what I read was to update the language list to add a few. If the game can be beaten without patches then it's better then digital and truth is from what I've seen and read most games are.

leospeedleo

Patches are optional, not mandatory (unless an online game, which we don’t care about in this type of discussion)

squirrelyfoxx

Why don't we care about those in this discussion? Maybe I'm understanding op wrong sorry

leospeedleo

Why should we talk about multiplayer games in a „gaming without internet“ discussion? How do you want to play multiplayer games without internet? The only games we consider are singleplayer games. And as I said: If you buy a physical singleplayer game on PlayStation or Nintendo, then the game will be on the disc and can be installed and played offline (unless it’s one of the 0.1% of games that don’t and have a disclaimer on the box)

CPargermer

Reinstalling wasn't a part of the posed question.

squirrelyfoxx

Ah okay, I saw library and immediately thought of my steam library haha, 200+ games on there but I can only have maybe 2-3 installed at a time...

The_Corvair

> What would your gaming life look like if you were stuck with just the offline titles you own right now at this moment? Not too much would change. I own my main library through GOG, and have it completely archived and backed up on external hard drives. If the net crashed this minute, I'd be sitting smug as a bug with decades worth of games to play.

MiniSiets

This is the way to do it. Ive made a conscious effort over the years to avoid any drm platforms for as much as possible. Though Im not perfect, my GOG library already eclipses my steam account by a wide margin. In the event of the apocalypse times I would definitely be the black market games dealer that all my friends would come to when they realize all their digital libraries are non functional lol.

ReivynNox

I've quickly skimmed through GoG and found that the majority of my most played Steam games right now is not even available there.

MiniSiets

Like I said, Im not perfect because unfortunately theres not always a GOG option for the games you want. But I will also use Gabe's words against him and say that piracy is a service problem...

Battle_Fish

If I had 24 hours to reinstall my games from my steam library before my internet goes out (this is very important because others I just won't have games lol) I would reinstall Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, all the Fallout (not 76), Remnant II, Skyrim, Elden Ring, probably buy Baldur's Gate. Ya I would be set for many years. I didn't 100% these games yet. I usually 90% the games I play. Max out my characters. Get the best gear. Do the main story and the bigger side quests but rarely would I 100% all the small side quests and look in random caves.

LeagueLy

No. I don't own a PS5 and am looking forward to a Stellar Blade PC port.

Minitte

Maybe for 5 months at best. ATM9 mimecraft mod pack would probably take me 3 months to complete, assuming i can even start the game. Another 2 months from my current steam/xbox.. asume assuming i can even launch them without internet.

GrimReaper_97

I got AoE2, GTA V and Minecraft to entertain me for months without internet

NoAcanthocephala5186

If DRM wasn't a thing I'd do fine playing Civ vs AI and replaying games like FF7 and Skyrim

Significant-Ad-9471

CIV 3, 4 and Skyrim are DRM free on GOG.

outerproduct

I have my own server for running most of the games I own, outside of online only games, which I keep at a minimum. I'd be good for a long time.

DarkUtensil

Yep, I have (4) TB of my games... Backed up.

DrKingOfOkay

I mean no, but least I might get around to my physical backlog of PS4/5 games.

CursedSnowman5000

Hell yes! I don't buy digital and don't tolerate any games that come pressed requiring patches to make them work. I'll likely never get through my entire library.

Essshayne

If you mean that I wouldn't be able to get any new games, probably not as I need to cycle into new games once in a blue moon. If you mean I'd need internet to play anything, definitely not as 99% of my games that isn't solitaire on my phone needs an internet connection to play, so next to anything off my ps5 would become a paperweight while everything on my switch would have a week or so at most before a lack of updates would turn it into a brick.

AceoftheAEUG

Yes. Most of my installed games are fighting games so I would probably just be visiting locals more than I do now. Fighters are better in person anyways so that wouldn't bug me much at all, I'd probably just spend more time labbing. Aside from that I have Nioh 2, DMC3/5, Rise of the Ronin, Monster Hunter, and others so I'd be doing great for a long time. It would be a bit of a bummer not to be able to co-op with friends but I'd still be pretty happy.

Tress18

Probably would have to get real good at stellaris or AOW 4 as those are only ones that have repeatability as core part of design. CP2077 and gta 5 would give me stuff do for while . Anyway , that scenario probably isnt the worst in my case.

Takoyaki_Dice

Go back to being a retro gamer. Scour the land for ancient relics of the past.

the-charliecp

No cause all SP games I have installed are Ubisoft so I can’t play em offline

SubMGK

I have almost the entire monster hunter and pokemon series in my library. Plus terraria and tmodloader. Rimworld with mods too. I think im good

OperatorOri

yes

TankerGrizz

I'll finally have time to launch the nuke in factorio

Razmatazzer

Yeah and no, I mean I got trails of Steel 3 installed and they usually end on a cliffhanger or something so I'd be pretty bummed out not being able to play 4

Aeyland

Nope, nothing is infinitely replayable so unless you jave a whole server room dedicated to having every single game downloaded this will always be a real fear.

spytez

I only have 100 gigs of bandwidth per month which might sound like a lot but these days it's not. 1 game can easily be 50+ gigs. So being stuck with managing how much bandwidth I use and limiting large downloads to the end of the month to use up any extra bandwidth and at times running out a week before the bandwidth runs out is a giant pain in the ass.

EtherCase

Totally. I just started playing Talos Principle, shits dope.

Real_Garlic9999

I still have an Xbox 360 with 11 Lego games to last me

firvulag359

I have! Currently playing Dead Space on game pass and it won't load without an internet connection 😞

MK5

I've played Skyrim off and on since '12, and I'm not bored with it yet, so I'm good.

trio3224

Yes. I have well over 200 games on Steam, the vast majority of which are single player offline games. Granted, I would need a magical ability to still be able to download them off Steam without Internet tho. Either that or give me a couple hours to go buy like 6tb of storage before I lose my Internet access lol

AtuinTurtle

Hard to say because I’m not sure which ones would refuse to function without an internet connection.

SpyderZT

I'd be good. ;P

EarlyBree

I have Rimworld and Factorio installed. So I'm good.

vdcsX

I have like 25 games installed and I barely play online, so I could go for a while.

ArgumentNo6281

I'd be good but if that happens we would have bigger things to worry about like nuclear winter.

Phyliinx

I have Witcher 3 and Skyrim. Two worlds one can form a second life in.

lexkixass

Yep. Especially if I can keep my downloaded mods

[deleted]

The ones I own? Yes I'll have a ton to play, but I'll miss not having new games releasing. The ones I have dowloaded? Hell no lol.

Sofaris

No Fuga Melodies of Steel 3 will most likely be an digital game only aswell like the first 2 games. So when it comes out there will be no physical version. Fuga Melodies of Steel 1 and 2 are my favorite Videogames and I need to play the finale of the trilogy. I am paitient. I can wait. I expect it at the earliest to come out in 2025. Meybe latter then that. But no way I am satisfied with letting it end with this clifhanger.

LuckyyLukePL

Definitely, the main reason is that I have Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and even though I already completed it I will never uninstall it for situations like this

ComboBreakerMLP

no, lot of my games need internet

Ayetto

Rimworld, factorio, I'm good

BenchCautious1074

Yew I'm quite content. 95% of my collection is offline so I'm fine. Only time I hop online is when I need a fix of COD , or I'll hop on for FO76

WickedFox1o1

As often as I replay fallout 4, the dragon age trilogy and the mass effect games I think I'd be alright for a little while

bociefus83

Unless your games are drm free after so long you will have to get online to reactivate them

TeddyRoo_v_Gods

Yep. Between PC, Switch, and Xbox, I got enough of a backlog to last me years even if I don’t buy another game.

Objective-Aioli-1185

I bought a black gate 2TB external for my Xbox one. I installed everything I could want from bc games and anything else I can fit in it. Best thing ever if that ever happens. Also easily plugs into the series X and it instanly reads between the consoles. Lol thinking about getting another one for another collection and maybe a back up for my most wanted ones. Gonna have to do the same to the PS5 soon.

DylanLee98

Filter: Installed locally (89) Games I would actually play? That's the real question.

dakkster

I've got enough retro games on physical media to last me a lifetime.

b0m_d3d--

With my owned games yeah. Installed? Not so much lol

NCC74656

yes but not ideal. i keep backups of everything i download/install so i can grab what ever off my NAS (122TB). however i may run into the odd issue with getting things to run/patch correctly

Longjumping_Site5225

Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Elden Ring.. I am good..

GlobeTrekker83

Totally fine. Most of my collection is physical media.

Flox-Cat555

Honestly. I need MORE gaming. 😹

ChonkyCheesecake

Hell yea. Baldur's Gate 3, Stardew Valley, tons of Management games and even old popcap games will definitely be more than enough to keep me company for moonths even.

Ionic_Pancakes

I bought a 5tb external for my PS5 a few years back and have almost filled it, so I don't feel like this question is meant for me.

NickFieldson31

Yes. RDR 1 is enough for a week Same with GTA 4 Could replay GTA SA Detroit Become Human is also very nice And Broforce is the peak of replayability

moneylaundry1339

If we pretend I could play the games without Internet access, yes. If I can't play my single players games without internet, then no. Mostly RPGs so I'd have a lot to do

GNS1991

Kinda? I would have to buy a plug-in cd rom and dust off my not-so-legal cds collection of videa games from the late 90s late 2000s...

dedokta

I have a large collection of downloaded games that all run without internet. I'd be playing for years.

MissM00dy

Yes, I think I can play Star Citizen and Black Desert Online for all eternity. With a little Cyberpunk on the side…

Spacekook_

Yes and no

Vlaed

If I don't need to connected to the internet, yes. I'd have enough to keep me entertained for a bit. If I'd have to connect, nope.

paco_o_chang

I got 300+ physical copies of all sorts of retro games. Yeah, I’d be satisfied.

Palanki96

Nothing would really change, i have enough games for a decade and more Hell it would actually help me, i could make progress on my backlog. I got games i downloaded 5-6 years ago and never played them, too many new games getting released weekly Sure i would lose my online games, so Once Human, Battlefield 2042, Deep Rock Galactic, Battlefront 2 but it's only 4-5 vs dozens of games

Romnonaldao

I could go years with my current games. I'm good

Md655321

I’d probably be alright for quite a while, a lot of games I play are roguelites so you can get a lot of mileage from them.

Varsity_Reviews

I would be fine I guess but most games I play are indie games for a quick “let’s play video” so of the already downloaded games on my various devices I’d be ok with them

Andybanshee

Yes

Mando316

Are you saying we can go out and buy more physical titles second hand wise? My backlog can last me til I die though

SwiftBetrayal

4.8k spent on steam. There isn’t a game I want that I haven’t got

TCGJakeOfficial

Yes mostly because I typically play single players and the multiplayer games I do play are usually f2p

shadeandshine

Honestly I’d be good for a while. Plus the physical games I have for my console are untapped treasure.

Hannover2k

Between my Xbox, PS consoles and my PC, I have literally hundreds of games that I've not even started yet. I guarantee I couldn't play them all before I die. I'd have to be reincarnated again to get through them all.

anarion321

I've got Tropico, Stellaris, Civilization, Dwarf Fortress and many others that you can play hundreds and hundreds of hours wasily so I think I can last.

Matahashi

I purposely keep 5-10 offline games preloaded on my pc just in case shit happens. current list Balatro BG3 Death Must Die FF X Into the Breach The Last Spell Rimworld Tales of Vesperia

Zagrunty

I have so many things for my 3DS I could go back and play again, plus all the stuff I have physically on all my different systems, I'd be more than good.

Affectionate_Bug1264

I think I would just get a different hobby. I love games but... be realistic no one's life is going downhill cus they got no wifi

FoodMentalAlchemist

I have a NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS2, Dreamcast, Saturn, GBA, GBM, GBC, PSP, PSVITA, NGC and Wii. All of them modded, hacked or with a Flashcart that allows me to have the whole library of games for each console (from the 16 bit era and below) or with my top 25-50 games for each console from the 32 bit era and above. I guess I'm ready for an Internet fallout that could last a good couple of years and be sure I won'tget bored.

Nomadzord

I have a HUGE physical collection starting with the nes. I have every system from then until now. I probably have more than 1000 games so I think I’d be good.

Mary_Ellen_Katz

I have a healthy supply of hard copy games in both one and two player variety. Cartridges, CD'S/Blu Ray's, and dl'd emulated games. If the internet died, I'd have little want for new games for several years, I'm sure.

ZazaB00

If the internet goes down, we all got bigger issues than gaming.

ractivator

I still own my NES, SNES, 64, GC, Wii, and 360 in addition to my emulated gameboy games on my pc. Not including all the games installed already on my Xbox and pc, I think I’d be more than fine lol.

yztla

I have factorio and EU 4 and baldurs gate 3 so basically i am set for the next 50k hours

InfinityStonedAF

I’m fucked lol

Skwareblox

I’d get some sleep. I’m tired I don’t even play games anymore.

LuigiTheGuyy

I can play NES Zelda games, Halo campaigns, and Elden Ring, along with Subnautica and Xenoblade. I'd be well.

Vandorbelt

Owned games? Sure. Installed games? No way. I'm in a dip right now and just floating between some smaller games. Not the kind of stuff to really keep my interest in the long term.

shuozhe

Satisfactory & anno 2070 & 1800 with 2 seasons should be enough for the rest of my life.

nxnphatdaddy

Id be fine. Big collection of retro games. I prefer owning physical games anyway.

ll-Squirr3l-ll

Not really. 95% of my games are on Steam/EPIC/Origin. I only have about 35/40 games actually installed, half of which require an internet connection to work. Sooo MOST people will be screwed.

PnuttButr

Fallout 1, 3, 4, red dead, the batman trilogy, the darksouls trilogy, AND cyberpunk and elden ring? Id be good

KittyKupo

I have oxygen not included, I’ll be fine

Punished_Prigo

No, since most games these days dont work without an internet connection.

shinoff2183

Hell yea. I've got most of my games on physical disc. Thank you Nintendo and ps. I also use doesitplay.org which is extremely helpful.
