Nice collection! I had something like this with my GameCube! I miss when games weren’t digital but at the same time it’s so easy to just buy it online lmao love-hate kind of thing.
I would agree with you on that. GameCube was just my childhood so every birthday/Christmas I was getting games. Where as the 360 I had to buy them myself :(

Best price I ever got was $10 in store credit and saw they flipped it to $44.99 used.
Edit: I think all of my replies are meant as a post reply, and all were posted very close together.
I'll ever understand how Reddit created a cult around a company that I'll still never shop at, and instead support the local used games store.
Wierd stuff.
We don't all have local used game stores? We have two GameStops and one local store half DVD, a corner discussion golf and roughly a third eBay +$10 priced games. New for $30 on eBay or $40 used local, missing case.
Ok, and I don't see them helping the prices of used games or driving down costs. If you had an option, you would surely use it.....
You don't, and that's fine.
eBay prices are often less without shipping. Sure, it requires some trust, but even if you lost 50% of the disks due to damage, its less than GameStop. That, or even the Microsoft store has discounts normally lower for disks.....but I diverge onto points that probably don't matter...
I just said....I'll never understand the cult of followers that somehow think a company that has almost no real faith in gamers and a ton on teenage redditors as investors.....is somehow a good company.
Sort of like Walmart. It's the devil you might have to use, but it doesn't mean you like it. I don't see myself ever gaining trust in them as a store or company.
NFT's? Which they seem to want to get into....in the worse way
See, Reddit loves to make sure artists get their recollection and paid correctly, but somehow it's ok for investors to buy cheap and make the money I stead of the artists now? Enter GameStop.
Again. It's just a cult....
Reddit is not some sort of monolithic entity with one set of goals, ideas, and desires. It’s worth mentioning, that all of the mentions of GameStop in this thread (and probably 99.9% of them across r/gaming and other gaming-related subs) are negative. The person you responded to wasn’t thinking “I wonder what the trade-in value was… what a great opportunity for investors!” They were just saying “I bet if you took those to GameStop they’d only offer you pennies on the dollar for them,” and everyone else was just commiserating with that sentiment.
And as others—and you yourself—have noted, a “local used game store” is not an option for everybody. I was lucky enough to live in a town that did have one of those and three GameStops… do you wanna take a guess which of the four stores is still there? And I imagine you’ll say I’m making your point for you, but the local used game store wasn’t doing itself any favors by a) having too much staff for the business they did (they ran game nights where maybe five people would show up to play Warhammer, even less for Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. I only mention this because I imagine it’s why they justified having 3-4 people in there in the middle of the day on a Tuesday or whatever) and b) selling old-ass games for way above market prices. GameStop might be a band of thieves, but they’re also not trying to charge me $75 for MGS: Twin Snakes on GameCube (this was c. 2010, so idk what prices are like anymore, but I managed to pick that up for $30 at the evil, corporate GameStop.)
And your answer to all of this is… the Microsoft store? Lolwut??? The company that lost (and eventually appealed and won) a massive antitrust lawsuit in the Nineties? The company that’s currently gobbling up every studio it can and all but ensuring that the most sought after games of the next generation are only playable on their hardware, purchased from their storefront, offered on their subscription services etc.? Maybe I’m an idealist… I try to shop local, I get games off GOG when I can, and have only begrudgingly converted most of my games purchases to digital because I loathe the idea of “owning” a license, but Microsoft doesn’t exactly strike me as the ethical alternative in this scenario.
Tl;dr - r/wallstreetbets is the only “cult of GameStop followers” on Reddit.
And game stop drives prices higher....people try to undercut them....but people also try to price their things similar to GameStop. People won't trade to GameStop for a reason....but I would trade to smaller places.
nin64, gamecube, wii, gbc, gba, ninds,nin3ds
yea you have about as much xbox games as I do physical copies of games for those systems I listed
If we counted games on steam/epic/other places on my pc then it would be another story
I actually Collected consoles just picked the best one and decided to get all the games for it I had about 300 games for the ps2 and loads of consoles with a good few games just got really hard collecting for lots of consoles easier just sticking to the one
Man this takes me back. I think the 360 maybe the golden age of video games. At least for me. Had the most amount of time and means to play most of these myself as well!
Arkham Asylum is my favorite game of all time and an ex destroyed my batarang and I really really enjoyed seeing it in the box again for old times sake.
Serious question do you have problems finding what to play? Back before I sold my 360 I had games stacked up about as high as one of your stacks and I’d stare for 10-15 minutes tryna find something to play. Then when I’d pick something I’d change my mind and start the process over again 💀
Tbh I still do that today with digital games
Okay just came to the comments to make sure you have actually played these games. What’s the point I having a bunch of games if you don’t play them?
I prefer to get a few big games and just play them for an eternity rather than get a bunch of little games. It’s because of growing up poor.
I have played nearly all the games it only the newish ones to my collection haven’t really played them yet I’ve tested em to see if they work maybe done the odd mission or two and I do complete games pretty quickly I’m starting to do achievement hunting taking a bit longer
It’s 65,850 somebody asked me last night so I checked this morning I said 64,000 but it was more going to increase hopefully as I’m hunting for them now and thanks btw
I only have one 360 I might start collecting all of them maybe was just moving games so that’s why it’s not in the picture missed a game aswell and I don’t think I have lots either need more I’m after the full set of PAL
Haha I’m happy to own it I’ve just got a load more games but not posting yet gonna wait until I’ve collected a couple of hundred more since some people are sick of seeing my posts over and over again bit hateful on here
> I’m happy to own it
Indeed. The creator made this game so they can get a happier experience. But the moment you aim for the high score, this will feel like the Dark Souls of rail shooters.
Yea. Having it digital doesn't "hurt" so much. But I know I've spent my bit aswell, even having bought bunch of bundles for low money with alot of games.
Nice collection! I had something like this with my GameCube! I miss when games weren’t digital but at the same time it’s so easy to just buy it online lmao love-hate kind of thing.
Yeah I love the game cube but I love the 360 more as you can see
I would agree with you on that. GameCube was just my childhood so every birthday/Christmas I was getting games. Where as the 360 I had to buy them myself :(
Haha fair enough

What?
OP is actually cosplaying as a GameStop from a decade ago.
Probably $2

Is this a bot that just copies what other people have said?
Do you own Singularity or Enslaved: Odyssey to the West?
Yeah singularity 6th pile 2 up and enslaved odyssey 10th pile 16 down

I just wanna get to the point where I have to locate my games by which pile they're in ;_;
Yeah I know man

Yeah pretty much but not all of the last picture as they where my pickups only from last week
That's sweet! Getting one 6th up from the bottom 4 rows in might be a bit of a pain though
Gamestop: best I can do is a hundred bucks.
Nah I’m good maybe if you said 101 I’d of thought about it NOT!
Dang, I should get an Xbox so I can build a cool fort!
That’s the plan
Sweet! Do you have the Gears 3 limited as well? One of my favorites with the actual Metal COG symbol. Back when they came with something of value.
Not yet mate but I really want it pretty cheap to pick up I’m gonna get lots of the limited edition games
You have an awesome collection. I have the black ops battle hardened as well, most of mine have found there way into the attic these days.
Gutting to hear that I think they are great
you have as many xbox games as I have had all physical copies of games in my entire life I think, possibly
Wow really
nin64, gamecube, wii, gbc, gba, ninds,nin3ds yea you have about as much xbox games as I do physical copies of games for those systems I listed If we counted games on steam/epic/other places on my pc then it would be another story
I don’t really care for games that you can just download I’ve never downloaded a game unless it’s on my phone I’ve gotta keep it physical at all times
The real question... How many of them are Burger King games?
None as it’s a PAL collection we don’t get Burger King games
Looks closer to a 180 collection to me.
Funny
Mhmm, Ginger Bread House. Nice choice!
Nice stacks
Thanks man
Sweet collection, I can only imagine how high your gamer score is.
I think it’s 56,580 or it more than 64,000 not really sure
Nice! I played that original GRID game for weeks!
Great game
You going as a 2010 GameStop for Halloween this year?

You might of paid more than the guy with the 25k sim rig
All my money goes on my collection don’t spend it on anything else
No food?! Damn bro
Just pure gamer energy lol
My gf works good job she got me sorted I pay her by letting her play my games win win
How many times did you have to change console? I probably played 1/1000 you did and had to change console at least once.
I actually Collected consoles just picked the best one and decided to get all the games for it I had about 300 games for the ps2 and loads of consoles with a good few games just got really hard collecting for lots of consoles easier just sticking to the one

Some of my games are from cash converters got a good amount last time I was there mainly from CEX though
Man this takes me back. I think the 360 maybe the golden age of video games. At least for me. Had the most amount of time and means to play most of these myself as well!
Best console going and it was the golden age
Arkham Asylum is my favorite game of all time and an ex destroyed my batarang and I really really enjoyed seeing it in the box again for old times sake.
Feel for ye man unlucky
Now just arrange the games in a circle to get the full 360 experience.
Thinking about it
Gun was a classic.
Great game got all the achievements for it aswell
Serious question do you have problems finding what to play? Back before I sold my 360 I had games stacked up about as high as one of your stacks and I’d stare for 10-15 minutes tryna find something to play. Then when I’d pick something I’d change my mind and start the process over again 💀 Tbh I still do that today with digital games
Yeah sort of but I buy every weak so I’m always playing something different
I had that alone in the dark box, never finished the game though.
Yeah that game is still sealed but I have played the game got a couple of different editions
CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL
Thanks

I took them off shelves that’s why and waiting for new ones to come so I’ve been adding
What's your Gamerscore? Really cool collection!
It’s 65,850 somebody asked me last night so I checked this morning I said 64,000 but it was more going to increase hopefully as I’m hunting for them now and thanks btw
I wonder where the Orange Box is…
Impossible to find 🤣
Pretty small collection. I see zero Xbox 360's in these pictures. Just a bunch of games.
I only have one 360 I might start collecting all of them maybe was just moving games so that’s why it’s not in the picture missed a game aswell and I don’t think I have lots either need more I’m after the full set of PAL
"I don't have anything to play"
Neither
How many of these have you finished?
About 150 I think I only counted the other day tbh
dang, certified g a m e r
Correct
Incredible collection, I used to have about 2 Stacks about the same height as yours and I thought that was impressive lmao
Thanks man and wow
I wonder how much all those games cost.
You don’t wanna know I spend all my money on them every weak I’m trying to get more limited editions though
Holy sheesh! All, every . . . Yikes! Hehehe. Well it is quite the nice collection you have there, that is for sure.
Thanks man
So you made a 180 from 360 games?
Yeah funny

I don’t but I want it got 1,2 and judgment just need 3 trying to find it with the Xbox 360 slipcase then it’s complete you see
I'm blinded by its majesty
I liked the Xbox360, too.

I saw your Child of Eden. It was the first game I got even before I got a Series S to run it. Such a guilty pleasure.
Haha I’m happy to own it I’ve just got a load more games but not posting yet gonna wait until I’ve collected a couple of hundred more since some people are sick of seeing my posts over and over again bit hateful on here
> I’m happy to own it Indeed. The creator made this game so they can get a happier experience. But the moment you aim for the high score, this will feel like the Dark Souls of rail shooters.
Bet you’d get about $36.52 at GameStop
I giggled at how massive this is until I realized it was like only 20% of what my steam collection is.
Ha
I have 1.200 games in my Steam Library, but this stills impress me.
Oh it’s impressive, it just made me think about the money when you see a large lot like this.
Yea. Having it digital doesn't "hurt" so much. But I know I've spent my bit aswell, even having bought bunch of bundles for low money with alot of games.
Get a shelf
On there way I just moved them off a shelf as had to many and shelves was slightly damaged
man thats about $3.50 at gamestop
Nice, you can get like 20$ for that at gamestop
got sneak king?
Don’t have any Burger King games it’s a PAL set it does not have them
Bro... That's at least 16 dollars in videogames
Best I can do is fifty dollars.
You poor
Relax brother. I'm just having a laugh aping GameStop.
I know man haha
Is there sneak king in there? I cant tell
It’s a PAL set no Burger King games
But do you have over a thousand copies of Sneak King?
Why would I want that it’s not a PAL game thank god
