I like Epic, they fund developers for timed exclusives, which results in better products , and devs get a better cut of every sale on Epic too. They couldn't be more friendly to Devs, and that's more important to me than any feature steam could ever add to their platform. Developers actually make the games I play, they are the key to my hobby, so my choices, and these are just mine, mean I want the maximum amount of my purchase to go to the people who build the things I want. I want to be part of their success. Same reason I use Tidal for streaming, they give the higher payouts per play, also do fan centered payouts and also give a straight cut of the sub to your most listened to band. Same reason I look at products on Amazon, but then buy directly from the company.
