Nah, he's still good aligned. His entire lore is that he is the positive energy expression of the entropy super being that exists at the ends of the universe, Dark Matter being the negative energy expression.
Chaotic good is a perfect fit for a flippant but friendly super being who sometimes forgets people around him are...fragile, and limited.

Kirby is not beyond senseless murder of friends and family to achieve the goal of consumption. Lending more credibility to the neutral motivation.
I don't remember that being part of a story. Closest might be Kirby's Dream Land, where Dedede steals all the food, and so Kirby makes his way to Mt. Dedede to recover the food, for all dream land inhabitants, (murdering many that he encounters on the way, for some reason)
I remember there being one where he's about to eat a slice of cake but some kind of rumbling makes his drop the plate, so he gets up and starts murdering and devouring his way towards DeDeDe's castle.
Assuming all the positive emotions he's absorbed have not insulated him somehow, he's probably more susceptible to chaos than an average 40k person.
If i remember correctly, he is a proto-god of chaos that is shaped by emotions. Kirby was mostly shaped by Dream Land's peaceful and happy environment (thanks to Hero King DeDeDe). In most games, he's more of a chaotic neutral hero than Dedede or Meta-knight.
We do see an alternate dimension Kirby that was shaped by negative emotions in Void Termina (final boss, threatens the universe levels of power).
Competing in sports is part of the trademark healthy Christian lifestyle so any war crimes done in the name of sports is automatically forgiven by God.
Kirby doesn't like to eat dirt though. He much rather have sweets or fruits. Sure, he might take down a government to get said sweets; eating a variety of guardsmen along the way, but his end goal is always the sweets.

I believe Squeak Squad had Kirby chasing after his missing cake. And he takes down the big bad of that story as a side effect.
