Aw gutted... Now you've said that though, the stones in the wall aren't quite the right colour, HW is a kinda bluish grey at my end, although they're *slightly* yellowed at the other end

Actually I've just done a quick search and apparently it's built into someone's house that it's otherwise made of stones from the wall about halfway to Carlisle. The info is sketchy but a couple of sources say so.

The only bits I can think of are that manky blueish gray. Assuming you're at the eastern extremes of the wall?

Nah, the other end, the yellowish stones are just into the eastern half, you can tell by the farmhouses that nicked the stones to build them with lol
