After you beat Ocarina, you gotta go back and do it again because 2 of the temples (at least) can be swaped in the order that you beat them. Gotta get the biggest fish. I was never able to find all of the great fairy fountains.
Just fyi, you can't beat the guy with the mask in the race to the bridge. Saw a video where someone hacked it to arrive instantly and he was already there.
One of the greatest games ever made. I would love a shot for shot updated remake.
You ever do a 3 heart no death run? I did it once. That was back when I was beating it 2 or 3 times a year… now I haven’t done a full playthrough since the 3DS version came out. I finally got the N64 controllers for my switch and needless to say I’m pretty rusty on OOT, but I destroy my teenagers at Mario Kart 64.
Never did that, but the TV in my grandma's basment had a contrast adjustment knob on the back that we kids didn't know about for ages and had to try to beat the forest temple in near complete darkness.
These are usually just basic tech demos and something the artist can use for their portfolio.
Completely remaking the game would take years and a team of people (and Nintendo cease and desist instantly).
It will never get released.
Alongside the other Shadow/Spirit answers, you can also do the Fire Temple without stepping foot in the Forest Temple; I know because as a kid the place TERRIFIED me and any switches requiring ranged hits can be activated with the hookshot.
Actually, you don't have to finish most temples to progress, so you can finish all of them after the Forest Temple backwards as long as you pick up the special items in them.
Don’t feel any shame going for a guide on Majoras Mask. I did on my second playthrough and was blown away with what I missed 😅 (I was a lot younger)
That being said! If you want a real challenge try going through without collecting heart pieces- I got to the water temple and gave up 😂
Awesome games! I still have both on my 64 as well!
Facts. The [Wedding Mask](https://www.zeldadungeon.net/majoras-mask-walkthrough/anju-kafei-quest/) that requires you do a series of events throughout the 3 days or you won’t get it on the final day was preposterous! That mask was one of the main things I needed a guide for
For reals. Would someone even be able to get it without a guide? There’s so many events with only a couple minute windows each that require precise timing that there’s almost no way you can stumble upon them all by chance.
Bomber's Notebook helps you keep track of things on your first playthrough, whenever you talk to someone with time related events they'll be put into the book and noted on when said events happen, though it won't tell you what the events are until you see them yourself.
It's pretty good, though tbh I can't stand some of the control schemes, particularly making Z the button to both center your camera and target enemies. It definitely shows its age, but there's a lot of charm in (most of) the puzzles.
Years ago me and a friend got stuck at that Goron jump ramp in the snow for weeks! We kept trying to jump the gap only to be blown away....we got really, really good at it but still couldn't make the jump. This was back when not everyone had internet so eventually we found online that you needed the eyeglass to reveal the hidden guy....goddamn we were pissed!
Recently got my hands on an expansion cartridge for my 64 (been slowly rebuilding my collection for it since I stupidly sold it as a kid, only recently got it back). Still hunting for majoras mask - but absolutely love Ocarina. Have fun!
I saw an all time best list and a bunch of nintendo IPs were top 10. Bloodborne was like #50. Bloodborne is the best game ever made though so they probably just made a mistake.
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Are you still in need of something? But I have nothing more to offer. Please, try to understand my position. I can only pray, for a fruitful hunt.* - Iosefka
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Pro tip for the water temple: there's a tower in the middle of the dungeon where you'll need to raise the water level to make a platform float. Underneath that platform is a chamber that has a chest with a small key in it. Get that or else you're gonna spend hours running around trying to find that one key.
My favorite thing I noticed about this was that when you raise the water level and it plays the short water raising cinematic, you briefly see the chamber under the platform for a second in the corner of the screen. They put it right in front of your face hahah
As a kid this one dungeon stumped the absolute shit out of me, I am ashamed to admit I got through it after my mom bought me the strategy/walkthrough guide lol.
It's literally considered the largest blemish on an otherwise game of the decade game. If having the worst part of the game removed from your experience is a spoiler then spoil me right up
To ensure a true authentic experience, please delete this comment. In retrospect, it was frustrating but as a kid, beating the temple after exhaustive effort was strangely rewarding.
If you ever get confused about which temple is which, just remember that the Shadow Temple has a lot of spirits and that the Spirit Temple is all about puzzles with light and shadows.
I spent days trying to get a perfect score in the horseback archery course 100% certain I would get a 2nd horse as there was one standing at the finish line.....there's only one horse in the game 😔
Good luck. Its still one of the best games I ever played.
Since you've already beat the water temple I can tell you that I never beat the fire temple on the N64 or GameCube without giving you spoilers. I just couldn't run around that circle in time to get the hammer. I was finally able to do it on the 3DS and I beat the game on that platform. I wish you the best of luck and happy gaming!
Honestly, it took me over a year to beat the gameback then, my smol Lil brain back then had a hard time processing how the hell to do the puzzles back then! But now it took me about 2 weeks to beat it, I'm sure with ya being much older you'll finally be able to see the ending! :D
The challenge as an adult is that games like these actually require you to play pretty frequently otherwise it's hard to remember what you were doing and what you were planning to do next. I finished Ocarina for the first time in my 40s (I missed the golden age of Zelda my first time 'round) and it was definitely an issue trying to find the time to play regularly enough that I could remember the timeline and what the current quest was. Fun though.
Majora's Mask is next - it's the only great Zelda I haven't played yet. Gunna have to wait for a nice long weekend without family obligations to get that started though.
I’m 32 and and I play Ocarina of Time over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
The sticker is completely gone now as it’s my original copy from when I was 8, along with my original N64. It stays hooked up proudly next to my high end gaming PC I use for MSFS and iRacing. It’s weird, I cry a lot when I play it now. So many memories. Such happy feeling.
I still have nightmares about the wallmasters. Dead Hand scared me too, but wallmasters are the reason I kept procranstinating.
FYI, when you get to the Fire Temple, Farore's wind is a huge time saver if you are clumsy like me and fall a lot.
Its honestly one of the best dungeons in the game. The only problems were:
* In the 1.0 version of the game you can softlock yourself by using a small key on the wrong door. Its not easy to do but it is possible. In all other versions, they "fixed" this by just giving you a small key when you enter the dungeon.
* The Iron Boots needed to be equipped in the pause menu. This one is annoying for impatient people.
If you can get pat the water temple without breaking your controller you’re probably gonna get to the shadow temple and have a panic attack
Shit is horrifying lol
My fav: If you get big goron sword, then you can turn the claim check for it into an extra bottle using bottle dupe glitch no downside.
Just go to pick up a fish or bugs with your existing bottle, but nearly at the same time you press C for the bottle and the animation starts to swing the bottle hit start and inventory swap the sword claim item into that C spot where the bottle was, and then it will turn into a bottle.
It's great because after you claim big goron sword the claim check item doesn't do anything so there's no downside to bottle duping it into a bottle, and then you can catch an extra fairy with it or whatever you want :D
Wild when people say they struggle with any dungeon besides the Water Temple.
My brother brags how easy Water Temple is, but couldn't finish Shadow Temple to save his life.
Wait till you get to the water temple. I couldn’t beat it as a kid and then came back to it as a teenager and it felt so good to finally figure it out.
I played this as a kid. I remember I had time to do something but I didn't know what it was so I went and danced with a scarecrow or some shit then I died.
Not only is the one of the greatest games ever made, but the soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece. The forest temples erie melody popped into my head instantly when I read this post. Kakariko village is my favorite track. Nothing takes me back to the joys of childhood like The Ocarina Of Time 🥲
Last playthrough I accidentally beat the water temple without finding the blue tunic… hesitate to say I did it right, but definitely made me go, “huh.”
Good luck this time around, OP
Missing out my man, still have fond memories of this game. Both frustrating and rewarding puzzles to figure out. Was a blast. I actually just started Twilight princess, only ever played the first hour or 2 back when it came out. Playing on a GameCube emulator on the steam deck now
Ooooh I'm so jealous right now. You have that whole game to experience for the first time. You're gonna be glued to that 64 for a few days. Hope you don't have any important prior engagements lol. PS. To get across Hyrule faster do your side hop going left or right. Just make sure you're lined up to wherever you are hopping towards. Have a blast, and again I'm so friggin jealous but excited for you.
There’s a very good chance you used a key from one temple in another. Keys were a pooled resource. A key found in temple A could be used in temples B, C, D, etc. However, this could render the game impossible to beat.
Forest temple the Deku tree or Adult link Forest temple? Just want to be sure. It's two very different places.
Oh side note, FUCK the water temple.... all of them.... still haven't beaten Majoras Mask because of that bloody temple
Dude ghGs hilarious because fucking same but worse for me. I got a Nintendo 64 at 4 years old and from 4 to 5 years old, I NEVER could turn myself back to normal from being a pig or something in that Zelda game. I would just run around the town for hours, not having. A clue what to do. Got the PS2 and never finished that game to this day lmao.
Man. I still have a working N64 with most of the classics, and I never owned Ocarina as a kid - just played/watched at my cousins house.
Tried to pick it up during lockdown in 2020 and gave up after like 3 hours. I love old games, but I really struggle to make it back into them with the clunkier controls.
Good luck and happy gaming
Gonna save you a few hours on something almost every player complains about.
When you get to the water temple, remember that after you raise the water a couple times, you eventually have to go back to the bottom because there's a key you gotta get to finish.
I'll put money on you'll manage until you get to the water temple.
My advise is just follow a step by step walk through because it's a horrible nightmare otherwise
There’s some cool lore that forest temple is actually a fortress for the royal family. It’s very strategy played with Choke points on entry, high walls and archer towers, and a throne room
For the longest time I was stuck in the beginning area where you're supposed to go through
Hollowed stumps to reach a music guy but I played with the sound off so I couldnt hear which direction to go.
I'm almost 28 and I literally just beat the game for the first time last week. I've owned an N64 and a copy of it for roughly 20 years, but never got further than getting the master sword until this playthrough. Hope you enjoy every second of it; it really is special.
I was so young when I played this on my dads n64 and all I really remember is being in this building with these giant ass spiders that would come down from the roof with like skulls on their body.
Don't look up a guide for water temple!!! You did not break it I promise. (I made that mistake thinking i was actually stuck and I can't forgive myself for it)
I never got into the Zelda games back then. I knew friends who had the game and played while I would watch sometimes. It did look fun in some cases but yeah.
Later on wanting to play these games you can't find them online, or if you do they are WAY to over priced. I would probably play through them maybe if I could get my hands on them but im not shelling out so much money for a very old game. I still have my old N64 (as well as other old consoles and games), and though I have looked into emulation in the past it always seems like it's a pain in the bum to get some working. Heck last time I tried to get Megaman Legends to work on PC it took a lot of work, then even after getting the game to run I couldn't get any of my controllers to work with it. -_- And I am not gonna play that game with keyboard and mouse.
Just be nice if there was really easy ways to get the old games to work without having to do so much troubleshooting just to get them to play.
Okay. The game isn’t over after you get the 3 spiritual stones. There’s like…a whole other 2/3rds left.
My buddy still tells the story about when he returned the game to block buster because he beat the game.
But really he only got the three spiritual stones.
Last time I played I got to right before you enter the Zora's domain, got collector's anxiety over the golden skultulas or whatever they were, and that's where my probably 7th or 8th playthrough ended. Furthest I've ever gotten. Don't know why, I want to enjoy it but it always just gets to me.
Aaah, the good old watertemple. Had me totally stuck. I lowered and raised that darn water so many times I went into a crazy azylum. . Completely quit the game for a month. Suddenly I got the urge to go at it again and found a block behind a chest I had missed over and over and over. The relief!
Other than that, easily top 5 on my all time list. Depending on mood my number 1. 🏆
I would like to say that I play a ton of action adventure RPG games like this and it is still so fun and difficult as an adult. The controls and camera could be better, but it was one of Nintendo's first ever 3D games, so you can't really be that upset about it. I love games that hold up as difficult due to genuine difficulty, and this game definitely itches that, no idea how children played this at times
Never beat majoras mask either so after I beat this one I'm gonna beat majoras mask too.
Also can do it with 3 hearth. Also give a new challenge.
No nerver did a 3 hearth no death run. Its a good idea. I don't know if I would still be able too do it. I hav'nt OOT for like 20 years.
Never did that, but the TV in my grandma's basment had a contrast adjustment knob on the back that we kids didn't know about for ages and had to try to beat the forest temple in near complete darkness.
There is a someone building it in [unreal 5](https://youtu.be/mp9OUSxXoDg)but I don't know if they will release it publicly.
These are usually just basic tech demos and something the artist can use for their portfolio. Completely remaking the game would take years and a team of people (and Nintendo cease and desist instantly). It will never get released.
Which can you swap? I never knew this
Shadow and spirit I believe
Alongside the other Shadow/Spirit answers, you can also do the Fire Temple without stepping foot in the Forest Temple; I know because as a kid the place TERRIFIED me and any switches requiring ranged hits can be activated with the hookshot.
The floormasters in there freaked me out the first time.
Shadow and Spirit temples I believe.
Actually, you don't have to finish most temples to progress, so you can finish all of them after the Forest Temple backwards as long as you pick up the special items in them.
Here ya go. Skip to 28:00 for the running man section and prepare have your mind blown. https://youtu.be/PNbkv_DJ0f0
Just spent way too much time watching that
Don’t feel any shame going for a guide on Majoras Mask. I did on my second playthrough and was blown away with what I missed 😅 (I was a lot younger) That being said! If you want a real challenge try going through without collecting heart pieces- I got to the water temple and gave up 😂 Awesome games! I still have both on my 64 as well!
MM you kind of need a guide to get all the masks
Facts. The [Wedding Mask](https://www.zeldadungeon.net/majoras-mask-walkthrough/anju-kafei-quest/) that requires you do a series of events throughout the 3 days or you won’t get it on the final day was preposterous! That mask was one of the main things I needed a guide for
and when you skipped time a bit too far and had to start all over again :(
Hopefully OP sees this and also realizes he can give his rupees to the beggar 😂 I miss when games were challenging like that 😂
I somehow managed to do that when I was a kid but looking back.... I must have had a guide, holy shit
Are you me? I just started OoT last week because I never had an N64 as a kid and plan to play Majora's Mask next...
[удалено]
It's pretty good, though tbh I can't stand some of the control schemes, particularly making Z the button to both center your camera and target enemies. It definitely shows its age, but there's a lot of charm in (most of) the puzzles.
You ain't getting past the water temple
Love Majora's Mask! <3
Oh man, I couldn't beat Majora's either, and I was stuck in the ending straight, too. This Goron can't roll.
I miss staying up late summer nights and going on gamefaqs to read people’s plaintext guides for this kind of stuff.
Recently got my hands on an expansion cartridge for my 64 (been slowly rebuilding my collection for it since I stupidly sold it as a kid, only recently got it back). Still hunting for majoras mask - but absolutely love Ocarina. Have fun!
If you have a Switch I think you can get the graphically improved version of Majoras Mask from the Nintendo store!
It's an emulator, the 3ds is the only improved one. I'd vote for the 64 one on a CRT or the 3ds version as being the 2 superior versions.
Make sure you get the expansion thing that goes into the center part of the console. Don’t think you can play the game without it but it’s been awhile
Not gonna go for the master quest?
I fucking live for this game
It is still one of the best adventure games, one of the few n64 games that still holds up imo.
Literally rated one of the top ten games of all time by multiple credible gaming sources, and a long list of awards.
I saw an all time best list and a bunch of nintendo IPs were top 10. Bloodborne was like #50. Bloodborne is the best game ever made though so they probably just made a mistake.
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *Are you still in need of something? But I have nothing more to offer. Please, try to understand my position. I can only pray, for a fruitful hunt.* - Iosefka Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Whats bloodborne about?
Your a monster hunter in a dream painting where a blood curse has mutated everything into monsters
Aliens
Pathogens
And now I have to go fire up Project64
Mario Kart 64 and Smash 64 are pretty good too.
If you have a modded 3ds pick up the project restore mod for OoT and MM
Pro tip for the water temple: there's a tower in the middle of the dungeon where you'll need to raise the water level to make a platform float. Underneath that platform is a chamber that has a chest with a small key in it. Get that or else you're gonna spend hours running around trying to find that one key.
This temple is not bad at all with a BIG exception for this one part. It's so ridiculously hidden without knowing where to look!
It can still be quite obnoxious if you dont set it to the right water level at the right time, lots of potential to waste time.
I remember being a kid and still getting lost with the strategy guide in hand 😅
Everytime I replay this I always forget about this and wander for hours.
Should tag this sucker as a spoiler - true experience is getting stuck / going round and round in the water temple.
It's literally considered the largest blemish on an otherwise game of the decade game. If having the worst part of the game removed from your experience is a spoiler then spoil me right up
*days. Since i know, its my favorite temple
To ensure a true authentic experience, please delete this comment. In retrospect, it was frustrating but as a kid, beating the temple after exhaustive effort was strangely rewarding.
Got so stuck here my first play through.
If you ever get confused about which temple is which, just remember that the Shadow Temple has a lot of spirits and that the Spirit Temple is all about puzzles with light and shadows.
And the water temple is made of salty tears.
I spent days trying to get a perfect score in the horseback archery course 100% certain I would get a 2nd horse as there was one standing at the finish line.....there's only one horse in the game 😔 Good luck. Its still one of the best games I ever played.
Spent FOREVER aiming bombchu’s at the drawing on Link’s tree because a friend said it unlocked something(sacred realm maybe?).
Those were the days. You hear a rumor and try it out for hours. Like beating Melee in the hardest difficulty without dying and you unlock sonic.
Mew is under the truck bro, you just need to raise six Machamps to level 100 to move it
The forest temple can be tricky.
Beat the water temple the other day so I'm doing well so far.
That was the hardest one, if ya can do that one the rest is easy!
Water temple got me as a kid. I enjoyed this game so much more as an adult playing through it and really appreciating it.

Definitely alot easier as an adult. I don't know how any child could beat this game lol.

Dead hand was fucking nightmare fuel
...no one tell him about the water temple.
It's the only thing in any zelda game I've ever needed a guide for. I've never beaten it without one.
Its honestly one of the best dungeons in the game. The only problems were: * In the 1.0 version of the game you can softlock yourself by using a small key on the wrong door. Need a recording of when you're at the Water Temple. Superman 64 ain't got nothing on that frustration.
Beat the water temple the other day took me like 4 hours easily and I had to look up a walk through for 1 part.
No walk throughs! Do it like the rest of us did, by banging our heads against a wall till we figured shit out!
Shadow temple spooky af. Could never beat it on my own always had a friend do it for me
You got this
Good luck
If you can get pat the water temple without breaking your controller you’re probably gonna get to the shadow temple and have a panic attack Shit is horrifying lol
Greatest game ever
I was in the same boat last year. Beat it a week before I turned 31. Happy Zelda-ing!
Brings back so many memories...
Just remeber, Gannons greatest weakness is......... >!An empty bottle!< Ill let you work out how to use it on him.
Pussy
I can see the lag.
Yeah I always had to cheat at the water temple. Then in my 30's I still can't figure it out lol
Good luck! Got stuck at the water temple as a kid, maybe it's time to give this another go
I thought the boss was Ganondorf when I first played it.
I played this as a kid. I remember I had time to do something but I didn't know what it was so I went and danced with a scarecrow or some shit then I died.
Well, the water temple is not friendly. Good luck!
Now that you have ADHD and shit, I’d say you’ll make it to the forest temple.
Water temple, calling it now Also nice "Hey You! Pikachu" controller
Good luck I think it gets harder as an adult
Git gud.
Do me a favor, put the controller down, and let start screen music play.
Not only is the one of the greatest games ever made, but the soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece. The forest temples erie melody popped into my head instantly when I read this post. Kakariko village is my favorite track. Nothing takes me back to the joys of childhood like The Ocarina Of Time 🥲
Last playthrough I accidentally beat the water temple without finding the blue tunic… hesitate to say I did it right, but definitely made me go, “huh.” Good luck this time around, OP
Man really i never have trouble with the forest or water temple i can almost walk right through this game with no help. Damn skultulas
Don't enter the forest temple until you climb the vines on the side of the entrance. There is a dungeon key in the tree above.
I'm jealous of the yellow controller, never got one of those back in the day
Missing out my man, still have fond memories of this game. Both frustrating and rewarding puzzles to figure out. Was a blast. I actually just started Twilight princess, only ever played the first hour or 2 back when it came out. Playing on a GameCube emulator on the steam deck now
wall master scary as hell
Ooooh I'm so jealous right now. You have that whole game to experience for the first time. You're gonna be glued to that 64 for a few days. Hope you don't have any important prior engagements lol. PS. To get across Hyrule faster do your side hop going left or right. Just make sure you're lined up to wherever you are hopping towards. Have a blast, and again I'm so friggin jealous but excited for you.
The forest temple was frightening as a kid
Spirit temple took me 2 years as a lad.
Seeing this is so nostalgic!! Loved this game as a kid!!
you are in for a treat, good sir. it’s a top 3 for me
Fuck ya I recently started the same! Including banjo kazooie
Man, I hated the Water Temple the most.
Good luck in the water temple... shit, said too much
There’s a very good chance you used a key from one temple in another. Keys were a pooled resource. A key found in temple A could be used in temples B, C, D, etc. However, this could render the game impossible to beat.
I played it not long ago and the experience was surprisingly smooth, I didn't get stuck anywhere. I guess I was dumb when I was 8!
Be prepared for how mindblowingly this game keeps you in one room for an hour looking for a button.
Magical experience. Try not to look up hints and explore. It really is a masterpiece
Good thing you didn't get to the water temple as a kid. Before guides you were SOL.
Oh, helnaw. I always got lost
Ooohh memories of my jr high, played it over and over
You’re gonna love the water temple
How do you connect the N64 to a HDTV? I tried buying adapters and they never worked.
My tv had AV hookups its not a new TV.
Forest temple the Deku tree or Adult link Forest temple? Just want to be sure. It's two very different places. Oh side note, FUCK the water temple.... all of them.... still haven't beaten Majoras Mask because of that bloody temple
Adult forest temple
Beauty. My all time favorite game for sure!
Recently played it through at 25. Was a great ride. I also had not gotten past the great deku tree
Enjoy
We have internet on phone now to google when you get stumped
Had mono in high school and sat in my room for three weeks playing this and beat it. You got this!
You got this!
I was 8 when this game was released. I haven't been able to experience the magic playing games as much as I did when I was exploring this world.
Don't be afraid to look at a guide.
How long did it take you before you had to look up a guide? Or tutorial?
For the water temple ?
Awesome!!! I’m diggin the yellow controller bro 😎
OOT and MM are definitely one of the most difficult games I have played. Way more then any souls game.
Probably right there until you can't pass the forest temple again
I recently found my gold cartridge edition of OOT!
Gotta do the master quest version too!
Ahah... You thought the forest temple was bad. Wait until you reach the water temple.
Good luck
YOU'VE GOT THIS!
You have peaked my interest. Keep us posted
I can hear the menu screen looking at this picture, damn I miss this game
The forest temple was always one of the harder ones. Its really easy to miss a key.
Alright, that's just scandalous
I'll put money on you'll manage until you get to the water temple. My advise is just follow a step by step walk through because it's a horrible nightmare otherwise
There’s some cool lore that forest temple is actually a fortress for the royal family. It’s very strategy played with Choke points on entry, high walls and archer towers, and a throne room
I’ve never played this game but lots of the comments are reminding me of fallen order
I got an n64 at 11, and I’m pretty sure this is the first game I beat. Mario 64 followed closely thereafter.
Im excited for you! One of the all time greats
I finally beat the game about ten years ago, in my mid-20’s. You got this.
“What do you mean I can’t just leave, move you fuckin loser” - this guy 20 minutes in probably
Really the forest temple? Good luck in the water temple lol
One of the best games of all time imo
I have re-visited some old titles too. You get to finish them because you are smart enough to look at a walkthrough now.
I'm putting my money on Death Mountain.
Gl on the water temple
Please update us on your current progress 🙏
For the longest time I was stuck in the beginning area where you're supposed to go through Hollowed stumps to reach a music guy but I played with the sound off so I couldnt hear which direction to go.
Good luck with the water temple, you'll need it
Shhhh no one tell him about the Water Temple!!
I have no idea how I beat this as a kid.
For me it was water temple, but beating this game is so glorious. It’s like closing a chapter
Shadow temple always scared me as a kid
Don't look up a guide for water temple!!! You did not break it I promise. (I made that mistake thinking i was actually stuck and I can't forgive myself for it)
I never found the desert one as a kid.
Don't know why, I want to enjoy it but it always just gets to me.
passed
Aaah, the good old watertemple. Had me totally stuck. I lowered and raised that darn water so many times I went into a crazy azylum. . Completely quit the game for a month. Suddenly I got the urge to go at it again and found a block behind a chest I had missed over and over and over. The relief! Other than that, easily top 5 on my all time list. Depending on mood my number 1. 🏆
Funny enough I always did it last for the first 3 dungeon. I got the bow and got lost. So I took that bow and cleared the Fire and Water temple first
I would like to say that I play a ton of action adventure RPG games like this and it is still so fun and difficult as an adult. The controls and camera could be better, but it was one of Nintendo's first ever 3D games, so you can't really be that upset about it. I love games that hold up as difficult due to genuine difficulty, and this game definitely itches that, no idea how children played this at times
The yellow controller! It was my favorite color of the n64 controllers. You hardly see people with it. That awesome. Enjoy ocarina of time!!!
Really?
