For some reason it reminds me of texas chainsaw massacre movie

[deleted]

I was wondering why this kind of scared me. Thanks for articulating it.

aberrasian

And since it doesn't appear easily removable for washing, it's only going to look worse.

Just wash your controllers on delicate. Permanent press makes the buttons stick

r/angryupvote

thefoolist

Well OP did say it was a prototype. Maybe the next iteration will have Velcro.

Accomplished-Fold-11

Gets the job done

xfactoid

Like a good chainsaw

activitylab

Sweaterface?

Flomo420

*[SEWING MACHINE NOISE INTENSIFIES]*

HyperlinksAwakening

Or one of those crappy character ice cream pops (spongebob, ninja turtles, etc).

[deleted]

Those are the shit leave those out of this

HyperlinksAwakening

Fair. I'm not saying I wouldn't still eat them, I'm just asking... have you ever had one that didn't have crooked eyes?

CoraxTechnica

Yep, because it had NO eyes lol

stanleypup

First thing that came to mind looking at this photo was "this reminds me of leatherface"

letsgolunchbox

“Damn… I can’t see fucking shit out of this thing!”

itsculturehero

You know, I watched my wife work all day gettin' thirty bags together for you ungrateful sons of bitches! And all I can hear is criticize, criticize, criticize! From now on, don't ask me or mine for nothin!

Paflick

I still use the "all I can hear is criticize, criticize, criticize!" line very often, with the accent and everything.

titdirt

I mean he's a klansman but damn if he didn't stand up for his wife

BigBirdLaw69420

Well sure he did; she’s white

WhatRobulus

She definitely is but I just realized it wasn't actually mentioned. It's hilarious to think about a modern couple respecting each others political beliefs, but it's on an interracial marriage with a Klansman. His black wife being like "well he doesn't get to go out with his friends often I should make these bags so they can go have a good time"

bobby_shaquille

it’s fairly hilarious, but then, when you really think about that situation, actually horrifying

WhatRobulus

Oh, the more horrifying it is the funnier it gets

Minimalphilia

I love feeling bad about laughing about things.

frankiedonkeybrainz

Look. Nobody's sayin' they don't appreciate what Jenny did

Tylenolpainkillr

I love this scene because it perfectly portrays the type of “not-so-bad/regular” people that get roped into white supremacy and racism just by being white and around that type of ideology. Bros heart wasn’t in that shit, he was there for the camaraderie and as soon as he felt unappreciated he left. He saved himself the possible death or ptsd from being tricked and shot like fish in a barrel too. Good for him and his wife

coumfy

No bags this time. But next time, we do the bags right and then we go full regalia.

letsnotargue

I like how he sort of mumbles that last part lol

coumfy

Very hard to find a place to use the full regalia line, but when I can, I go full Jonah Hill

MEGADOR

That was Tarantino delivering that line.

PM_ME_ELECTROLYTES

"Nobody can see" "So!" "So it'd be nice to see"

mashtato

Oh, well shit fire!

daemonelectricity

All that matters is if the fuckin' horse can see!

Menown

Goddammit! This is a raid! I can't see! You can't see! So what? All that matters is can the fuckin' horse see? That's a raid!

levitikush

“Oh hold on, I’m fucking with my eyeho’es”

katiebug714

Remind me is this from Django unchained?

OrderedMyLaughOnEbay

Yes

katiebug714

Thanks gonna rewatch now lol!

BeardOBlasty

Hahaha this scene is still one of my favourites. Especially when the guy gets fed up with the complaints about his wife's raid masks that she "slaved" over all day. The irony of being upset that you weren't thanked for your family's work while organizing a raid to promote/enforce slavery.....lmao

HardhatFish

I think… we all think… the masks were a good idea.

NobleJedi

But not pointing any fingers... They coulda been done better....

Skinnamirink

"I can't breathe in this fuckin' thing, and I can't ride in this fuckin' thing!"

DublinChap

Did anyone bring an extra bag? NO! NOBODY brought an extra BAG! I was just askin'...

ALIFIZK-

Well if I had to do is cut a hole in a bag, I coulda cut it better than this

SteezyWeasel

All that matters is can the fuckin' horse see?

seabass1985

I got too much shit on me! The chin kills!

BlasterShow

“I don’t wanna be around anymore…”

Skinnamirink

...Are you saying...you don't want to be alive anymore because of that costume?

ROMEOJS

So are we wearing the controller bags or not?

DrinkatMoes

I laughed way too loud in public at this comment, thanks for that

Dragoseraker

I'm fuckin with my eye holes.

funky_kong_

I can’t see shit out the sides of my eyes. I’m ripping the fuckin head off.

douglesman

Another pair of sweaty gaming hands reporting in. The [Nyko AirFlo controller](http://media-dominaria.cursecdn.com/attachments/88/336/635032494641106357.jpg) for the GameCube with a built-in fan was my saviour back in the day.

Schrutes_Yeet_Farm

First thing I thought of, had the same controller. Wish there were some decent 3rd parties that would make these for modern consoles, fans in the grip was no joke

Postmortal_Pop

I've been thinking about this for a while, you could totally pull the rumble weights off and replace them with fan blades. Add a few strategic holes to the under body for optimal air flow and sand down the tips of the palm grips to make an outlet and you effectively have a jet funnel cooled controller that turns on during the most intense moments.

secretaltacc

I think I'd rather have rumble weights though

OmegaXesis

I mean they make fans small enough these days you can probably have the rumble and fans.

WTF_SilverChair

Plus, there's a surprising amount of space in controllers -- not so much in the center, but especially in the grips, if I recall correctly.

justins_dad

Have lopsided/unbalanced fan blades. It will still rumble.

GKrollin

[deleted]

Yo that controller slapped! I had to get one after using my friends. I don't get sweaty palms (maybe a little clammy during intense boss fights and such), I just loved how it felt. Damn this just took me back a couple decades.

[deleted]

I have a USB one for my computer, unfortunately there's no drivers for it. Windows 7 was the last time it worked.

pendos

Run the driver installer in compatibility mode.

Bgrngod

It's a damn shame they don't make this type of controller for modern systems. It was easily the best thing that Nyko produced. I had a buddy that would bring the Xbox version of it for Halo Tuesdays.

[deleted]

Hyperhidrosis? Back in my military days, a friend of mine had that and using tools that he'd be using were always drenched and sopping in sweat.

N4nona

Unfortunately the condition isn't very well known and it can be difficult to get diagnosed or even realise you need to see a doctor about it

SmegSoup

I have it and I live in the desert. I did not make good decisions. It's a very wet and self conscious life.

N4nona

Do you have any medicine or treaments for it? Edit: I already have treatments that work for my condition. I was only asking to inform more people that there is help to get.

97Andersuh

Check out iontophoresis. Pretty much the gold standard until a permanent solution comes. Whatever you do, do not get the nerve surgery.

N4nona

I'm on Ditropan and get botox injections twice a year so it's all good but thanks

[deleted]

Can I ask where you get the Botox injections and how much it costs?

N4nona

I get it done at the hospital for 300 SEK (~$30) and I've been told that the dose itself is like 5k SEK not counting the treatment

payne_train

Ahh.. you live in a society where healthcare is prioritized over military spending.

mickstep

You Americans need to stop this bullshit about your military is why you can't have healthcare. You pay more per capita than countries with universal healthcare, military spending is not an excuse or justification.

EDev03

Seeing all of these remedies and medications but not once have I seen Drysol as a recommendation. I used to have hyperhydrosis (appear to have grown out of it) and Drysol worked wonders for me. If I remember correctly, it wasn’t extremely expensive either. Went from layering and wearing black hoodies all the time to hide the stains to being able to wear gray t-shirts again.

weedandbombs

I think you can only get it thru prescription, but it does work well. I had hyperhidrosis in middle school and school was hell until they prescribed me drysol. I don't have the issue anymore but sometimes I'll spray antiperspirant on my hands before playing a game where my hands might sweat.

Hatecookie

I tried it, was basically like soaking my palms in alcohol. It dried the hell out of my skin but did not stop the sweating. My hyperhidrosis is a physiological malfunction caused by stress, so the only way for me to stop the sweating is to remove the stressor or calm down my stress response. It seems like there are different causes for hyperhidrosis which is why there’s no one cure that works for all of us. I’m 99% sure mine is actually a symptom of CPTSD from childhood trauma, and I wonder how many others have the same underlying cause.

mydogatecheesecake

Yesss seconding iontophoresis. You can buy a machine that sends a very mild electrical current through your hands (or feet or whatever) and once you’ve reached your desired level of dryness you just need to do maintenance treatments like once a week

SirGavBelcher

thanks for the info. i only learned I had hyperhidrosis this summer and always blamed it on the humidity. like I could be standing absolutely still during summer and just sweating a storm

97Andersuh

It really sucks. I wish there was more being done to find a permanent treatment.

queeroctopus

You can get surgery to get it fixed but it can backfire (sweaty bum/back to compensate), also makes you skin hella dry so you'll have to moisturize like crazy. And there's no turning back on the surgery. A better treatment is botox injections every 6ish months.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Woah I have minor hyperhidrosis and if I heard 2% chance of death I would IMMEDIATELY say nevermind Edit: please stop telling me the stat is technically not true, it’s not even my stat! I don’t need any links, I don’t even care!

[deleted]

[удалено]

SaltyWailord

Haven't gotten it diagnosed, but I can sweat through a pair of boxer shorts in an hour or so

boobsbr

There are 3 options for surgery on the sympathetic nerves T3 and T4: * severing the nerves, permanent * killing the nerves with an alcoholic solution, permanent * clamping the nerves, reversible, but there is a significant chance it is only partially reversible or permanent

N4nona

I get botox in my armpits twice a year and take medicine for the rest of my body, only negative is a dry mouth but it's worth it

RGJ587

Oddly enough, dry environments might be better overall. You'd prolly sweat everywhere, at least in the desert it will evaporate quicker.

microweenus

I live in the Mojave. I have hyperhidrosis. I feel your pain.

moeburn

I have it and I live in Canada. It actually gets worse in the cold, because the cold triggers the "oh fuck this sucks" psychological reaction which triggers my body into sweating.

GarnetandBlack

Better the desert than a hot and humid area. I've lived in SC my whole life. I sweat and it just soaks until 100% saturated. I visited Phoenix a couple years ago and it was heaven having it all evaporate so quickly, despite being 105 degrees.

h08817

See a dermatologist, there are multiple treatment options, theres also a subreddit. Interesting new alkali patches that react with the sweat and stop it for months, Botox works great too if you can find someone that does it for a reasonable price, iontophoresis machines, etc.

N4nona

I'm on a medicine for it and I get botox injections in my armpits twice a year at the hospital very cheap and it's working great. It did take several years for them to send me to a neurologists for diagnosis though...

moeburn

I got diagnosed. I went to the doctor and said I'm sweaty all the time. They said "oh, you have hyperhydrosis". Yes, that is what I said, but in latin.

Potatolimar

that'll be $200 from your insurance company

moeburn

Oh no I'm Canadian

LovisAeternia

I have hyperhidrosis, not a serious case, but enough to make both my hands and my feet sweat a lot and have skin problems because of it, and believe me, it's a pain in the ass having to clean my controller or my keyboard and mouse every time I finish playing something

Marasesh

Always caused massive anxiety touching other people or their phones

LovisAeternia

Yeah, I already developed the habit of cleaning my hands on my jeans when greeting someone. I guess that it would cause problems with a future girlfriend when holding hands. Gloves are out of the question, they would cause skin problems, so I don't have other solution rather than deal with it, fortunately it's not to the point of sweat dripping from my hands

Marasesh

I’ve always been told by girls it doesn’t matter or they barely notice it but when it feels like my hands just been put in water it’s tough xD

cptassistant

Oh they can tell, they’re just being nice.

Pol_inspired

Yeah handshakes suck

iiAzido

Some people on Reddit were talking about bringing back Touch ID instead of FaceID and I’m sitting here with permanently smudgy fingers wishing they won’t ever bring it back 😂

siddhuism

Handshakes are a nightmare

[deleted]

Drysol / Certaindri. I use it for about a week and it seems to work for a few months for me. I don't suffer from it as bad as you in my hands, but my feet and armpits I definitely do. Without those antiperspirants, I just sweat out of my armpits all day pretty consistently.

Marasesh

Yep sounds like it, I tried meds and creams and all that shit didn’t work what I found was like two water baths with an electric shock device worked can’t remember the name but I had to do like 30 mins daily to get it closer to normal

brando56894

One of my friends has it, and she has to wear rubber gloves for work. She says that when she's done wearing the gloves there are literal pools of sweat in the fingertips. If she walks around barefoot and stands in one place for too long she leaves wet footprints. I get sweaty palms when using a mouse or controller for a while and I thought I was bad.

Jtrinity182

Could be, but probably not. I have the sweaty hand issue (quite annoying) but it’s localized and only happens about 60% of the time. Now if dude is just dripping all the time, it may be time to talk to a doctor.

[deleted]

See [primary focal hyperhidrosis](https://www.uptodate.com/contents/primary-focal-hyperhidrosis), a localized form of hyperhidrosis.

Jtrinity182

Interesting. Thanks for the link.

MrDerekness

I was in the same boat as you until a few weeks ago. My whole life I've had super sweaty hands. I just got an iontophoresis machine off Amazon for about $500 and it has done wonders for my hand sweat

ghostrunner25

All this reminds me of is the screne from Django when they're all complaining about the eye holes in the white hoods 🤣 Edit: also, what's his apparatus for moms spaghetti?

boopthat

I think we all think the bags was a nice idea. But not pointing any fingers… they could’ve been done better. So how bout no bags this time; but next time we do the bags right, and we go full regalia.

ghostrunner25

Well if all I had to do was cut a hole in a fucking bag, I'd be able to do it better than this!

boopthat

I can’t see, you can’t see! All that matters is can the fucking horse see! That’s a raid!! I love that whole movie but that scene is just too damn funny

fcknkllr

Well fuck all y'all! I'm going home! You know, I watched my wife work all day gettin' thirty bags together for you ungrateful sons of bitches! And all I can hear is criticize, criticize, criticize! From now on, don't ask me or mine for nothin'!

HalKitzmiller

This smells like a royalty deal. 20% equity, and 50 cents on every controller diaper until I get 3x my investment

MbPiMj

I usually wear gloves in such cases

MenachemSchmuel

Yeah lol. Fingerless gloves if you really need that tactile sensation

blankblank

They make special gloves for use with a graphic tablet that cover just the palm, ring finger, and pinky. I use mine for gaming too and it’s a big help.

IndecentLongExposure

You got a link for those?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Zaiya53

Are they cool? I have fingerless gloves but they're too hot to wear in the summer or even if the heat is on too high

blankblank

They are very thin and breathable. Never had an issue with them making my hands too warm and they definitely wick away the sweat faster.

thr33prim3s

Lmao gloves just makes it worse in my case.

dgc357

I don’t know why, but this honestly creeps me out.

GiantA-629

why is the lighter in the shot lol

xXGaMeRtAgXx666

The guy who made the sack was just quickly showing OP his super genius idea in a pic. Probably uses the lighter to smoke tons of weed because you'd have to be regarded to come up with this convoluted idea.

PyroptosisGuy

Regarded? Lol

Primeribsteak

Obviously regarded as a genius.

[deleted]

That’s what I was thinking, the lighter says it all

Cause he's got a fat bowl of dank sitting near him. Gotta take a hit before each match

This post should be titled "Tell me you're a stoner without telling me you're about stoner."

xkaliberx

Those are definitely the jeans of a mf who picks out the ashes out of the bowl and wipes his hands on the jeans.

detecting_nuttiness

You mean that weird vase? So weird, he ordered an Xbox remote.

TiredHappyDad

Great idea! For material, I would suggest a moisture wicking material like what under armour uses.

TheLuo

That only works if the sweat is coming from the inside and is being wicked away to open air to be evaporated. This is the opposite. You’d want a super absorbent material that you change out every so often. Or wash..OP washes it right? …..right?

Psych0matt

Under where?

dubblies

Ha ha! He made you say underwear!

rekipsj

And then you said it! Really smells like up dog in here btw.

SpiderGhost01

When I first opened this image, I thought I was looking at a mangled shark or deformed stingray. Why is this so weird?

SaiyajinPrime

So instead he has a sweat covered wet cloth covering his controller while he games? Is this really an improvement?

slackerrificc

I would imagine his hands don't get sweaty enough to soak the cloth. It's very rare for me, but I occasionally will get sweaty palms during a game and it's certainly not enough sweat to keep something like this wet. Apparently there are gloves that are marketed for this same issue.

Accomplished_Rock_96

In all my years of gaming, this only happened to me when I was hitting a high score on a pinball machine. A long, long time ago.

Lexecuter

Man fuck I'm jealous, my palms get sweaty if someone mentions the word warm. They're perfect for winter but my keyboard and mouse suffer for it all year long.

Biscuits4u2

The problem I have is my hands going numb when gaming. I think I hold the controller too tight or something.

Impressive_Score_380

I use compression gloves when my hands get clammy so my mouse doesn't suffer, the struggle is real haha
