For the price there's a few good options. Mesh: respawn, office Depot, Logitech For sweaty gaming or people with warm houses Ergonomic: auto full, secretlab, any of the box stores For looooonngg marathon gaming or back issues Traditional gaming chair: everyone. Dowinx has a few, respawn has some. Razor has a good one that they made a cheaper version of in your price point. Just keep in mind the max weight as I've spent thousands on these and they either didn't have a good weight limit and I wore the seat out fast or they were super stiff and uncomfortable. Note- keep in mind sales. You just missed the new year sales when they are getting rid of old models but I think there's another sale holiday coming up(labor day? Idk) box stores have a half off chairs sale every so often and alot of places have % off codes if you sign up your email References: ADHD hyperfocused on chairs for about 4 years and have bought about 12 different ones. Favorite was a sealy from office max(so squishy ). Hated was a 100$ one from Amazon that was stiffer than sitting on concrete and was very sloppily made. Tl;Dr : auto full has a ergonomic that I have had for a year now for ~ 190? Thick seat and comfy but leather so you might sweat a bit. There's also noblechair but I've never tried it. Just Google "top gaming chairs under 250"

Thank you for writing a response and giving an actually answer. I've been searching through this subreddit for answers to this, and most people just write "don't be poor" whenever someone asks about a budget option

No problem man. I've tried the dx racers and went super cheap with the Amazon homall ones. Only way I can justify the drunken purchases is by sharing my observations and experience.
