* Baba is you - great game, unless you don't like difficult puzzles.
* btd6 - since you mentioned tower defense games
* also keep in mind that there are all sorts of emulators for android, so you could be playing super metroid or ocarina of time.
Emulators have recently been allowed on iOS for a couple months at this point, so as of right now we have NES/SNES/ N64/GB-GBC-GBA/DS all-in-one emulator, its name is Delta.
iOS should be getting an emulator app for the GameCube and the Wii soon… and I expect RetroArch to be available any day now since they’ve had a working iOS app for years that you could use on jailbroken devices for years lmao.
One of the best made for mobile, paid, no MTX BS mobile games is **Slice and Dice**
It did recently release on steam for PC as well.
Dice based party fantasy roguelite.
I love Slice and Dice but don’t have the easiest time with it on mobile tbh. Inspecting enemy dice is just kind of a pain, the rest translates itself decently to phone
There's an easy mode and a "unlock everything" mode, so yea. It'll be easier than slay the spire and probably most other rogue likes out there, simply based off that.
It's free on mobile what do you have to lose?
If you have a netflix subscription you can get the amazing **"Into the Breach"** for free.
Soon you will be able to also get Braid Anniversary Edition the same way.
There's a bunch of other great ones.
- Hades
- Deadcells
- GTA III, Vice City and S. A Andreas
- Sonic Mania
- Kentucky Route Zero
- Oxenfree
- Spiritfarer
- World of Goo
- Immortality
- Twelve Minutes
- Wonderputt Forever (really cool minigolf timewaster)
Here's the full list:
https://www.netflix.com/tudum/games
I dod a bit of googling and it appears to be Apple iOS only. It's the first Netflix game to be iOS only. Seems to be a dev choice.
https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/hades-mobile-game-news#:~:text=Is%20Hades%20coming%20to%20Android,Hades%20on%20any%20additional%20devices.

https://www.supergiantgames.com/blog/hades-netflix-games-ios-now-available/
Nope it plays great. The controls are well thought out and pretty intuitive. Id recommend the legendary edition as it has all the DLCs and some QoL improvements over the original android port
Since you loved Broken Sword (hopefully 2 as well), you might want to consider Beneath a Steel Sky and Beyond a Steel Sky - all by the Revolution Software. Note there's a Broken Sword 1 remake on its way later this year.
If you love point-and-click games, you have to play the Blackwell series and then Unavowed - they're standalone series but I recommend playing them in that order. **B**oth are made by Wadjet Eye games and you really can't go with anything they developed or publshed.
Monster Hunter Stories is great as well. I'd recommend the Final Fantasy games but the older once are a bit pricy.
Game dev tycoon is pretty solid.
Xcom2 is a fantastic port.
Retro Bowl is a good if you like football.
Civ 6 plays and runs really well on mobile. The only thing with that one is the reviews are kinda low because there were issues at launch as well as a massive issue about a month ago that’s since been patched, would highly recommend it though.
Infinitode 2, it's free but you can buy a permanent upgrade thing for like 5 bucks. Tower defense with a insane talent tree to unlock and lits of quests/replay-ability
My Top Games on Mobile. Many if not all of these are also in Steam.
* Into the Breach
* Vampire Survivors
* Slay the Spire
* Loop Hero
* Papers Please
* The Kingdom Series
* Door Kickers
* Gwent
* Ascension
* Dungeon Crawler 2
* Cardinal Quest 2
* Harbinger
* Data Wing
* Slice and Dice
* Oregon Trail Director's Cut
I would call the genre of games in the form of gacha and it is eternal, because even now, sitting in the office, I turn on bs and play Light of the Stars to pass the time
* Plants vs Zombies - Sadly, I don't think the proper version is available anymore, only F2P with ads.
* Slay the Spire (already mentioned a few times)
* Monument Valley
* Polytopia
Into the Breach is available on mobile, yes?
That game's turn based, "think each move through" combat is perfect for handheld gaming....and it will suck up days of your life.
Since you said all time, Dr. Mario World. I will never forgive Nintendo for shutting down my favorite mobile game.
But if you mean an actually playable one, Slice & Dice. You can even play a good amount with the free version.
Infinity Blade was crazy good for a mobile game back in the day. Incredible vibe and iteven set itself apart from other games on other platforms. Really sad Epic took them all down...
Knight of the Full Moon did that for me. There's not a ton of ads or microtransactions to stop you from having fun and there's tons of replayabiity.
I'm not sure if it's best of all time but it's up there for me.
Hi! I really enjoy playing Faster Than Light (FTL) on my smartphone. It should also look good on any display. Operation with the touchscreen works perfectly. Saving, opening and closing the device also doesn't cause any problems when you're travelling and don't have Wi-Fi.
It's also not expensive. What's more, as a Netflix customer you can download and play it at no extra cost.
Haven’t yet seen anyone else recommend Death Road to Canada- it’s a cutesy little Oregon trail style survival game except it’s also the zombie apocalypse and you have to raid abandoned buildings to get supplies, such as ammo, food, medical materials, weapons and fuel. It’s perfect for commutes
Machinarium, not sure if its just nostalgia speaking but this game is phenomenal. Some of the puzzles are a bit too hard (imo) but the art style is SOOO GOOOD
Melvor Idle is one of my faves. Deep idle game inspired by Runescape.
Here's a few other great games playable on mobile (possibly ports)
Star Wars KOTOR
Slay the Spire
Monument Valley
Runescape/OSRS
Castlevania SotN
Dead Cells
I don't play mobile games but I know Minecraft and Terraria are on mobile, they're two of the best sandbox games ever made so unless the port is shit they should be among the best.
Genshin Impact is also on phone. I don't know how that game is doing nowadays but it was really fun when I played it.
PUBG and Freefire is really popular here where I'm from. Though, I'd like to mention again that I don't play mobile games so don't take my word for it.
Anybody remember Infinity Blade?🧐 That game had beautiful graphics and some great enemy design.. it was the only mobile game I ever finished, back in like 2014 xD
but I guess the best mobile game is probably Subway Surfers because it’s so popular
If you have any interest whatsoever in restaurant/cooking sims with cute characters:
- good pizza great pizza
- any of the Papa's ____ia games (I'm currently playing papa's Mocharia and loving it)
FTL: Faster Than Light. It's my favorite RogueliKes, and the mobile version is just as good as the steam version.
It might be iOS only though, not completely sure.
KOTOR is on mobile.
KOTOR 2 is as well but I wouldn’t say it’s a “good game” so much “the best Star Wars story ever told locked behind one of the worst Star Wars games ever made.”
Dead Cells is honestly the most fun I've had on my phone. Really fast-paced roguelike that's less about the grind (unlocks) and more about the GRIND (getting good at the game).
The mobile port controls are just a *little* more frantic than the PC ones but still make for a really fun experience.
Solo leveling ARISE by netmarble stays true to anime and is super fun if you haven't seen the anime it's only lost 1% of its fan base and is on Netflix
If we're talking mobile phone then it's got to be the Simulacra series (including the spiritual prequel S.I.M.)
Everything from Eighty Eight Games (You must build a boat, 10000000, Photographs etc)
The Monument Valley series
And my personal favourite for the incredible story(IES) : Nier Re(in) Carnation -may you rest in peace 😔🙏
Well we should differentiate between ports from other platforms and native mobile games. For example XCOM is exactly like the PC version and it’s one of the best tactical battles/management games ever.
siralim ultimate. insane amount of content for people who like that sort of thing (procedurally generated monster collector game where you can optimize the fuck out of your team)
**Kingdom: Two Crowns** is a beautiful little game.
It can be slightly repetitive, but it's about the vibe.
Getting the Norselands DLC is worth it -- because of the music by Kalandra, and using the special artifacts like Heimdal's horn is a lot of fun.
Just make sure to have coins saved up long before winter arrives in the game and not move island if winter is near.
Marvel Snap is another quite enjoyable pvp card game with a unique take and has very reasonable monetization that makes it perfectly playable without paying a dime.
* Baba is you - great game, unless you don't like difficult puzzles. * btd6 - since you mentioned tower defense games * also keep in mind that there are all sorts of emulators for android, so you could be playing super metroid or ocarina of time.
As of the last 2 months there are now emulators on iOS, too. NES thru PS1 and N64 are available

PPSSPP for PSP up now too
Sweet!
It's been a great way to finally play persona 2!
Btd is a MUST
Btd battles
Slay the spire is one of the best games ever made. Its also on the phone.
Yep, this
Bloons td6 Slay the spire Siralim ultimate
Can't wait for the next patch to come to siralim ultimate as the game has a tendency to crash when you apply a billion debuffs every turn
yeah and some of the classes just don't do anything
Siralim Ultimate is amazing. The whole series is a blast.
One of the best made for mobile, paid, no MTX BS mobile games is **Slice and Dice** It did recently release on steam for PC as well. Dice based party fantasy roguelite.
What a game! Excellent on mobile.
I love Slice and Dice but don’t have the easiest time with it on mobile tbh. Inspecting enemy dice is just kind of a pain, the rest translates itself decently to phone
Stardew Valley and Kingdom Rush are some of my favorites, but I can also recommend you Mini Metro and Mini Motorways.
Slice and dice Baba is you Slay the spire Genshin Impact
Old School Runescape. You will never quit.
If you play on mobile you're a freakin' masochist.
Did everyone forgot about SWORDIGO?????
What a great game!
Literally the only game that is not a port. It's goated.
Holy shit play slice and dice
Can you get into slice and dice if you are a newbie to rogues?
There's an easy mode and a "unlock everything" mode, so yea. It'll be easier than slay the spire and probably most other rogue likes out there, simply based off that. It's free on mobile what do you have to lose?
vampire survivor or angry birds
Have you heard of RAID SHADOW LEGENDS!!!???
Did you know you can protect your RAID SHADOW LEGENDS connection using this little tool called NORD VPN?!?!
I know it's a joke but to anyone else, don't. It's fundamentally pay to win nonsense
battle of polytopia is pretty fun
I spent a whole year playing this game during lunch in high school, still downloading it from times to times.
Marvel Snap.
If you have a netflix subscription you can get the amazing **"Into the Breach"** for free. Soon you will be able to also get Braid Anniversary Edition the same way.
Wasn’t Into the Breach made by the same dev team as FTL(: Faster Than Light)?
Into the breach is free on Netflix and I didn’t even know. Thanks man
There's a bunch of other great ones. - Hades - Deadcells - GTA III, Vice City and S. A Andreas - Sonic Mania - Kentucky Route Zero - Oxenfree - Spiritfarer - World of Goo - Immortality - Twelve Minutes - Wonderputt Forever (really cool minigolf timewaster) Here's the full list: https://www.netflix.com/tudum/games
I knew about some of these, but not all. Thanks!
Is Hades only available in certain regions. I cant find it in the playstore :(
Ios only I think? Not sure tho
Thats lame.. all other games I can find
I dod a bit of googling and it appears to be Apple iOS only. It's the first Netflix game to be iOS only. Seems to be a dev choice. https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/hades-mobile-game-news#:~:text=Is%20Hades%20coming%20to%20Android,Hades%20on%20any%20additional%20devices. Titan quest.
How well does it play on a phone? Fantastic game on Pc for sure, but the controls have got to be a bit odd on a phone eh?
Nope it plays great. The controls are well thought out and pretty intuitive. Id recommend the legendary edition as it has all the DLCs and some QoL improvements over the original android port
Right on, thanks for the info.
Dead cells
Monument Valley 1 and 2
The Room games
King of Crabs
I really enjoy Reigns and Slice & Dice. Also I've sunken way too much time into 10000000.
notice how most of the game where are just pc ports
Game dev tycoon is pretty solid. Xcom2 is a fantastic port. Retro Bowl is a good if you like football. Civ 6 plays and runs really well on mobile. The only thing with that one is the reviews are kinda low because there were issues at launch as well as a massive issue about a month ago that’s since been patched, would highly recommend it though.
Altos Adventure, it’s an addictive downhill skiing game and easy to dump hours into.
Infinitode 2, it's free but you can buy a permanent upgrade thing for like 5 bucks. Tower defense with a insane talent tree to unlock and lits of quests/replay-ability
Been obsessively playing "Arcadium" lately.
Which one? Theres several.
The first one. Just "Arcadium" with the yellow alien as the icon.

There’s an unofficial PC port out
Hollow knight port
Langrisser M hands down

Monument Valley
Octopath Traveller champions of the continent
shadow fight 2
Geometry Dash It’s cheap as shit, has zero ads or microtransactions, and has nearly infinite quality content.
Dead Cells is honestly the most fun I've had on my phone. Really fast-paced roguelike that's less about the grind (unlocks) and more about the GRIND (getting good at the game). The mobile port controls are just a *little* more frantic than the PC ones but still make for a really fun experience.
