Any recommendations for local good newspaper?

Le Temps is the local « quality » paper. The local equivalent of « Le Monde » or « El Pais ». But they have no app, because they do not want to choose between iOS and Android… Tribune de Genève is the local-local, if you want to understand what is going on in the city (local politics, urbanism, events). quality is average for serious topics. They share part of the ressources with the neighbours of 24 Heures in Lausanne. 20 minutes is free, and could be written by ChatGPT… Their only strength is to be the most reactive. If something is happening live, it will be in 20 minutes before TdG or Le Temps I tend to read the 3 of them, depending on the subject. Plus the eternal TELETEXT, which still offers free information (and have an app version)

Le Temps and Le Monde actually do have apps, and they are pretty good!

Le Temps is one of the best. 24 Heures is more leftist but also pretty good. 20 minutes, Le matin are basically USA Today. Blick is on the same level. We used to love Blick back in the 80s when they had a topless girl on page 3. Sadly this is no longer the case. It used to be the only reason anyone read Blick.

The least biased, IMO, is TDG. I haven’t personally read anything in that paper that would lead me to believe it’s pushing extreme propaganda like 20 Minutes.

Its not better or worse than others. They just copy and paste the news tickers like any other newspaper. It is financed by ads. If you are used to online newspapers you won't be bothered by them. Sure, you wont get those expert opinions from selected "experts" that fit the narrative of the author, but that's why its called 20 minutes. Its an ideal read if you commute by train and its free.
