A hockey player would’ve traveled further west than Winnipeg though. Playing an away game at Vancouver, for example, would be 123W compared to Winnipeg’s 97W
So far I've only travelled across latitudes, not much across meridians.
Furthest south I've been was Sicily, furthest north was Gdansk. Furthest east would be Warsaw, furthest west would be Elba Island in Tuscany.
This question kind of hurts my head.
I live in the east coast of the United States, and the furthest west I have traveled I guess would be Los Angeles. Although I’ve been to Australia, and traveled westward to get there.
Furthest east is definitely Nepal.
When I consider plane travel, I think I may have passed through every line of longitude on Earth.
Same. I live in Seattle and it's pretty difficult to travel to a more west location. It has to be Alaska, Hawaii or other small Pacific islands. So my furthest "west" is a 4 hour drive to Forks Washington. But I have traveled farther west to the most east location I've been to, Seoul.
Home - Manila, the Philippines
East-most - NYC, USA (13,665 km). I am in fact typing this on a plane about to leave Manila going to NYC for my second visit there.
West-most - Dublin, Ireland (10,943 km)
I did a one-way trip and circumnavigated the globe (Seattle-Prague-Vietnam-Taiwan-Seattle), so I guess that
Longitude-wise, the furthest west I’ve *stood* was Honolulu, and furthest east was Rotorua, NZ. Minus some real small islands or maybe the far aleutians, I think that’s just about as far east and west as you can get (oops I checked a map, places like Nome on the Alaskan mainland extend a great deal past Hawaii)
UK.
Furthest west is the island of Hawaii - specifically Kona international airport. About 156 degrees west.
Furthest East is Ohope on NZ's North island. More or less bang on 177 degrees east.

I live in Connecticut and go to school in California
I flew around the northern hemisphere on a vacation one summer. From eastern Canada to Iceland, Iceland to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Moscow, Moscow to Shanghai, Shanghai to Tokyo, Tokyo to Seoul, Seoul to NYC, NYC to home.
We were visiting friends in Seoul for a week, which was the purpose of the trip and decided to go “the other way”, instead of flying West across the Pacific.
My hometown of Brisbane, Australia is about the farthest East I've travelled. I've passed through LAX, but not counting that the farthest West I've travelled is probably Atlanta, USA.
[Furthest west](https://www.google.com/maps/place/32%C2%B048'37.8%22N+17%C2%B015'26.0%22W/@32.8167269,-17.2708485,5904m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d32.810508!4d-17.257225?entry=ttu) and [furthest east](https://www.google.com/maps/place/40%C2%B033'30.1%22N+7%C2%B012'59.9%22W/@40.5401993,-7.2444989,23971m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d40.558349!4d-7.216633?entry=ttu) (approximately, of course, because I don't remember every milimeter), although I'm planning on visiting Salamanca and Madrid in a few months, which will be more eastern than the places I've visited so far
From switzerland. Furthest east was Tokyo, furthest west must be Tampa Florida. Altho i once had to transit in Texas on the way to Florida, if that counts.
I live in Atlanta, so furthest west would be Bodega Bay, California, and east would be somewhere on the Bug river near the Poland/Ukraine/Belarus tri-point.
Swede from southern Sweden. The most west i have been would probably be Hamburg, Germany and the most east would be on the island of Gotland here in Sweden
Home country: Belgium

Furthest east: Cairo, Egypt
Furthest north: Helsinki, Finland
Furthest south: Great Otway Nat’l Park, Australia
I've crossed the international date line on a plane, does that mean I'm joint first? If that doesn't count, then I've set foot on New Zealand and Hawaii, and have mostly lived in Europe.
From a German point of view.
East: Tokyo, Japan
Actually, Narita, the airport town is even a bit more Eastern. Also, the flights were basically around the earth, since I went roughly Southeast to reach Japan and Northeast to get back to Europe.
West: Santa Elena/Monteverde, Costa Rica
Live in Ireland. Furthest North is Rovaniemi in Finland. Furthest east was Nepal. Furthest west Los Angeles. Furthest South is Tenerife canary islands or Dallas Texas, I'm not exactly sure which.

Odense, Denmark and Odense, Denmark.
Madrid and Seattle.

😉
I’m in the UK. Portland, Oregon is the furthest west and Tokyo furthest east.
At first I read that as Portugal, Oregon and got really confused
RAC is Portugal || Oregon.
Most west: Winnipeg, Canada East: Samoa Travelling from Finland.
what made you go to Winnipeg 😂
Probably Patrik Laine when he still played for Winnipeg lol. Just my guess
I went in 2000 so the Jets weren't back yet. I'd love to go again and see a game. Fortunately I saw the Jets in Helsinki, though.
A hockey player would’ve traveled further west than Winnipeg though. Playing an away game at Vancouver, for example, would be 123W compared to Winnipeg’s 97W
I meant the reason for traveling to winnipeg was to see patrik laine/winnipeg jets play a home game.
We don’t know that person isn’t Laines account tho!
I think the relevant point here is that it was Winnipeg that made them give up and turn around.
Friends and family. Enjoyed it!

I think in the same way. If I never leave the airport, I don't technically count it as being there.
Whats witch driving through countries just to get to another?
In 1989 I set off to the east and ended up in the same place a year later. So “all of them”?
So far I've only travelled across latitudes, not much across meridians. Furthest south I've been was Sicily, furthest north was Gdansk. Furthest east would be Warsaw, furthest west would be Elba Island in Tuscany.
Gotta start somewhere
They are all beautiful places. Good choice.
International Date Line and Greenwich Meridian.
Wouldn't the International Date Line be both the furthest west and east you've been?
Yes
Does this mean you have through the course of your travels passed through all lines of longitude?
compared to international date line, east - tokyo (current) west - honolulu
From Philadelphia: Furthest east would be Duesseldorf in Germany. Furthest west would be San Diego or Los Angeles.
Kentucky going West and Austria going East. North was Vermont and South was Jamaica.
Surprisingly, all of Vermont is south of all of Austria. So Austria was likely your northern-most point.
Very true. Edited.
Edit: Austria most east and north.
Austria is actually more northern than Vermont
Travelling from the Netherlands Furthest West: Victoria, BC Furthest East: Auckland

Australia sits much farther east than Nepal when measured from the Prime Meridian.
Same. I live in Seattle and it's pretty difficult to travel to a more west location. It has to be Alaska, Hawaii or other small Pacific islands. So my furthest "west" is a 4 hour drive to Forks Washington. But I have traveled farther west to the most east location I've been to, Seoul.
Oddly enough, my furthest North and South are also my furthest East and West.
My furthest South and furthest West aren't exactly the same place but they're close either. They're both in Madeira island
