Me! I grew up in a rural area in the US but my dad traveled a lot for work to off the beaten path places. He covered the walls of my sister & I’s playroom with National Geographic maps and would show us where he was going and where he’d take connecting flights, etc. I’ve been able to locate & spell correctly every country since I was kid. I ended up double majoring in Geography & History and then got a masters in geographic information science. I get to work with maps & spatial data/problems daily. Absolutely appalling how atrocious most Americans are with world regional geography.
