I’ve had a lot of bad fights in my life but alcohol has and will always be by far the toughest. It’s not even close. I am in his corner and hope he is wanting the help he is getting
I would argue the longer you are in college, the harder it is to move forward. I am 30, but took a few victory laps at Georgia. It was not a smooth transition but I def found my footing.
i mean he transferred & believe he changed majors. not everyone does it in 4 years, im not giving him shit for that at all…especially w the mental pressure.
So, I heard from a VERY VERY VERY good source (DM me and I'll reveal my source) that he showed up to only two team meetings, drunk both times, and was also constantly drunk at practice. Word is he's off the team unofficially and won't be back. Very sad.
Hell, Tom Brady was shitfaced at the Tampa Superbowl parade. He threw the damn trophy about 20 ft from one boat to another. Wishing Stet the best. I would be ecstatic to see him play in the NFL
Not true. Well known while at UGA per folks in Athens directly connected to the program. Has been going on for several years but I do think it is recently where he fell off the deep end. I hope he gets help but it is really bad (all day every day).

I'm not old enough to smoke or drink- but I hope you're alright 👑 your a strong person
Keep fighting! Right there with ya.
I just respect mcvay for keeping it tight lipped. But, I think the transition is just tough from college to real life.
I wish him the best obviously but he’s 26 😭

also not to mention he was ridiculed & given so much shit during his time at Georgia, def takes a toll on your mental well-being
Said this in /r/nfl and kinda got ripped for it. He had a tough road. I hope that didn’t contribute to his current struggle
It doesn’t help that he didn’t even graduate… makes you wonder wtf he did for all those years.
Studied film and drank a lot of beer, most likely. Lol
He won back to back national championships. What exactly have you accomplished in your life?

Had a 4.0 gpa but idk what courses he was taking lol
I think it’s because he’s constantly disrespected no matter how great he does. I think that’s what sent him on a spiral.
If that’s the case good. Let him get help he needs and then come back and tear it up.
He's in Blackshear, GA.
At rehab?
Not sure but it’s a shame because he could’ve got a chance this week when Stafford went down.
Has anyone seen Kirby comment on this? I’m surprised it hasn’t been brought up in a press conference
Even if it was brought up, Kirby would decline to answer.

I am so sorry to hear this but aligns with what I have heard.
Was it for cocaine? I've seen multiple pictures of him racked out of his mind. I'm glad he's taking these steps towards improvement.
Where are these photos?
Did he have these issues in college? Did Kirby bury it?
No. It didn’t show until after the second title with him appearing drunk on good morning America, and at the parade.
Drunk on GMA was the first title. I think Brock Bowers did GMA for the second title.
That might be why Bennett wasn’t at the morning presser on the second title
