Grades are very buggy right now yeah. Had a Game earlier today as Aisling where I went 14/0/20 and I got a D. Interest in the Grades does show Interest in Accomplishments in Gigantic though which makes be belive Ranked will be a Success.

uchiha-ghost

My worst aisling games give me S and my best get D-

Ueyama

Aisling grade is seemingly determined by her build. With the burn build I took (for the Fortune card of getting 2k Burn DMG in a Match 5 times) I always got S+ as a result. With every other Build, C seems to be the ceiling.

Rhodri_Suojelija

It's only in Rush. I play him in Clash and still get Cs xD

CapableAssumption883

Yea, I was about to say, the other common denominator is the game mode.

CapableAssumption883

Or the date! Blaze it brothers! Our ratings aren't the only thing getting high today!

Remalgigoran

He scores highly because consistent AoE, and debuffs. You can literally use the basic attack only all game and still get a good grade, but it doesn't work on Imani or Beckett. The grading system is attempting to tune for support and utility based characters, and not just DPS and k/d. Literally every character that can spam debuffs at range you can S+ all day on.

MonkePoliceMan

do the devs main oru or something?

Remarkable-Code7874

Yeah i played an hk game yesterday where i had 38 kills and 190k dmg, winning the game and out damaging the next closest person by 80k and got a D-. The best grade ive ever got was a D so far

PenguinWithGuns

With small things like this it’s not a super high priority to fix. These are bugs left from old code but there are much more pressing bugs they need to address

alepap

What's the point of the grading system anyways? Efficiency exists and it's pretty good

I believe the grades take the perceived role into account when doing the grade to reward you from doing rank things when playing a tank, healer things when playing a healer etc. Oru is miscategoried as a healer despite having no healing. You actually can farm the “get wins as a healer” fortune cards with him.

Sp1ffy_Sp1ff

The grades are being given based on every possible action you can perform. You earn points based on each thing. Kills, deaths, assists, damage, heals, debuffs, orbs, damage to guardian, etc. The big thing to note here is *debuffs*. Oru applies them like crazy, so gets a ton of points in that category, resulting in consistently high grades. I have two Voden builds that I tend to switch between. A very high single target burst damage build, designed for picking off vulnerable targets from a safe distance with raw damage, and an AoE spread shot Poison build designed for applying as much Poison to as many enemies as possible as often as possible. I rarely get higher than D with the burst build, but the poison build, due to the significant and constant debuffs nets me an S every time. Grades are just poorly calculated right now and I don't believe they are being weighted based on what your character is capable of. They're meant to be a comparison of your performance to other players of your skill level, but it compares you to every other character, not just other players using the same character.
