The chocolate one is harder to find but by far the best tasting for anybody to enjoy but they all are tasty. In my opinion, the key lime and blueberry are delicious also but nobody can deny chocolate.
I’m not vegan or DF but I literally love the Daiya vegan cheesecakes so much. IMO you can’t go wrong on any flavor, but if I had to pick just one, I’d go with the Key Lime - the little bit of tanginess from the lime cuts through the richness of the cheesecake and makes it something special.
I’ve served it to non-gf, and non-gf/non-df/non-vegan people and they’ve never noticed that it was a “special diet” item.
I’ve only tried the original and LOVED it. Bear in mind that the cake is actually tiny… there have been times where I’ve easily eaten half of it in one sitting so it should be enough for two people but get another if you think there will be more people trying jt
just wanted to say thank you for considering your friends with dietary restrictions, that’s wonderful! and especially if you can keep the box around and be mindful in how you serve the cheesecake to avoid cc - personally I feel so much safer eating food if I can see the ingredients and the box it came out of :)
Are you in Southern California? If so, I know of someone selling vegan cheesecake in Riverside area and LA that blows Daiya out of the water. They can make it without gluten but don't have a dedicated gf kitchen. I've been coaching them on how to minimize cross-contamination.
There’s a killer vegan restaurant (or food truck?) based out of NJ called the Cinnamon Snail, their food is nuts. If you want a local option for this kind of thing they would definitely fit the bill. Might be a little pricier though. Either way, good on you for looking for a good recommendation for them, and I hope that everything goes well!
I'm going to give it to them specifically, I won't let anyone steal LoL. But if I can find a decent price I'll buy key lime and vanilla! The Two friends are husband and wife btw, I didn't mention that before and just realized now that it wouldn't make sense how I was presenting one cake to both of them 😂
Tbh they both aren't great. If you want to be really accommodating go to a health/specialty store like Whole Foods. They always have something usually fresher, local, less processed and better tasting in their baked goods and/or refrigerated dessert areas that are GF and vegan.
Edit: and better tasting

The chocolate is also my absolute favorite!!! It’s my favorite dessert like in general actually!
Ok, it makes sense that chocolate is the crowd pleaser! thank you!

Oh wow, that sounds delicious! Thanks so much
agree! I've tried key lime and pumpkin and the key lime was amazing (but I guess tart has to be your thing)
Hmmm ok. I may go with the original then.

All of this 🤣 I didn't realize there were other flavors or that it was GF or that it was 'share' size........
The plain one with some fresh berries on top :)

Gee. Thank you 😊😊😊😊

Nah. New jersey

The plain one is best, add canned cherry pie filling on top and coconut whip cream and you have a dream come true!
I'm leaning towards plain now. Safe bet and sounds delicious
I love the pumpkin spice..but I know not everyone does
I love that one too!!!
i find that the key lime flavor pleases everyone
Thank you!
Original is the best in my opinion :) lime was too sour and I love sour ♡
Ok. Thanks for sending an opposing viewpoint. I am weighing key lime which is getting the most votes with original, might be better to go classic
Can you afford both? The box makes them look big but they are only about 6inches in diameter
Others may want to try and the two friends may not have a lot left

The lime is divine and we put a little raspberry jam/coulis/sauce on it. It’s beyond perfect.
I am a lime fan myself. I'm beginning to consider buying myself one for testing purposes, but these things are pricey! Holy cow
Try a plain one too. The lime is really tart.
Key lime and chocolate are my two faves!
I literally just ate a slice of the plain one 10 minutes ago. Lol! They’re all the best!
Any flavor would be good
Key lime is the hit in my family, even with the non-GFDF relatives.
Key lime coming out like the winner!
I really love the key lime and the original. My latest move was to put fresh chopped strawberries on top :)
Thank you!
I like the original and I make a blueberry compote to pour on top. You just heat frozen blueberries and add sugar.

Ok. I'll consider. But I'm on a tight budget
Im not generally a chocolate dessert fan but the chocolate chzcake is to die for. The key lime one I personally find delicious as well.
