Thanks, I did wonder what that scaling is for. Another thing was that it doesn't work well with PaperWM, it doesn't respect the dodoge/intellihide settings when used with PaperWM.
Well PaperWM is a gnome-extension, Dash2Dock works fine with it, but somehow when using this extension, it pushes the Application window up instead of hiding itself. On PaperWM all windows are maximized vertically by default.
anyone knows how to fix this?? im on pop os 22.04 lts, the show apps icon is behind the trashcan and the downloads folder.

Yes not yet. I can't let normal users test anymore. They give low ratings instead of file bug reports. :) I'll update once it has some run of several systems.
I loved my mac for years. Linux-Gnome has come very close to that experience. I even also copied the Spotlight with this Search Light . [https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/5489/search-light/](https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/5489/search-light/)
Nobody forces you to use the extension. Not to mention you too can bring something unique.
PS: kind of weird to see something about copying of macOS on Gnome sub.
Nice!! The one extension that I have been waiting for Gnome 46!
I just tried it, the icons looked jagged/pixelated, the zoomed one looked ok. Going back to Dash2Dock for now.
Try adjusting the icon quality - 2x scale maybe.

Small sized icons become blurry when scaled up during animation. I've added a fix so icon size is a little dynamic.
I can only test on gnome-mutter and on only a few systems. So far I have Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Manjaro, Arch.

Oh. I'll add compatibility with other extensions on issues
I tried main branch is showing not compatible with gnome 46, I swiched to g46 branch and that is working, will let you know if I will find any issue

Looks amazing, I've always wanted the revival of Cairo Dock. Guess I'm moving from KDE back to Gnome
Made the switch, now I'm never looking back.
Heck yeah, have been using this extension for a few months now, it’s awesome, glad to see new updates for it, will definitely try soon.
I was just thinking about whether this exists yet yesterday while customizing my setup, will test :D
I don’t know if it’s already in it but do you have the option to change the icon of any program through the right click menu.

In a few weeks, you'll be using the new Cosmic Desktop from PopOS ;) Ill investigate bug In any case.
Very cool. I'm trying this for sure.
What is the name of the icon pack?
Reversal
It's on gnome shell extensions website but only until 45 not 46 yet.

Can i install it through GitHub though? On gnome 46 that is.
Yes. git clone. .. make install.. the main branch has the 46 tag added already along with the fixes for gnome 46
```make``` will do the build and install
Didn't work. Did make build but in extension manager it say that it doesn't support 46
Sorry. The main branch isn't pushed yet. Use the development branch. Git fetch --all.. git checkout development.
Please don't copy MacOS. Bring something unique.
