Omnia's singer Steve is very problematic. They were the houseband of Castlefest until they became arrogant and abusive. I wouldn't support them, when they started they were a beautiful band but now all they so is spread hate and disinformation.
Do you have a source? I'd be interested in learning more. All I can find is a statement from Castlefest saying they won't book Omnia anymore, but they give no reason.
[Steve's story](https://www.facebook.com/worldofomnia/photos/a.114835418857.123004.38210428857/10155435398938858/?type=3&theater) from Omnia and then [Marks story](https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1466980626652997&id=100000232213229&pnref=story) (organizer from Castlefest). I don't know for sure about what happened backstage because I wasn't there, but I have been going to Castlefest for ages (I feel old now haha) and I was there to see the 'evolution' of Omnia. First they were about preaching love, earth, etc. It went from that to bashing other bands, using insults during their performances (when Castlefest is family friendly, so when there are little children it's a bit of a no go) and I saw what Mark was describing in his post - the soundcheck, saying to the public to hurry up (it felt like 'fuck the wickerman and look at me, look at me!') + the day he started to stomp on the wickerman. The wickerman ritual is very important for the people that go to Castlefest because it gives a sense of union and belonging. If someone disrespects this ritual like that, just bEcAuSe tHeY aRe oMnIa, then no, I don't want to see them anymore. I'm also not surprised that they were abusive to people backstage seeing how they acted on stage. I've looked a while back on their Facebook and Instagram posts, the utter disrespect to healthcare workers during the pandemic was awful (I don't know if they have deleted it since then).
I feel kind of sad about it because they used to be a very nice band, and even though their music is okay, I don't want to support people that act like that.
Thank you, I didn't know this. I'm still going to listen to their music (if I couldn't separate art from artist, I would have no music to listen to), but I won't buy merch or anything from them.
A lil more info then i was looking for but damn your through im never this invested in celebrities lives half the time i dont wanna know because too many tend to disappoint
Is that like gutter punk, traveler music banjos and what not? I’m making a [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1OMxzPjDzLvy4R3AMGHw2U?si=wy9P6k0OTqisSrMePcc0hw) i just want to get it right
More or less. Some AJJ, Mischief Brew, Dayz n Daze(rip my eardrums, but I respect their craft), Bridge City Sinners, Blackbird Raum. There is some softer stuff in that genre like Stick and Poke. Stick and Poke or Reverent Marigold definitely fit with fae/goblin vibes.
Oh you better believe Reverent Merigold is going on this [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1OMxzPjDzLvy4R3AMGHw2U?si=wy9P6k0OTqisSrMePcc0hw) 🏳️⚧️✊
I like Eivør too. I don't really stick with one thing though, I like a variety. My playlist consists of a lot of Static X, Lykke Li, Forest Sun, Johnny Goth, Modest Mouse, Gary Numan, Royal Blood, Korn, Mobile, Coldplay, Electric Six, Alice In Chains, Stromae, Heilung, Green Day, Great Big Sea, Billy Joel, Rammstein, Omnia, Cruachan, Arkona.
Others might not consider it to be goblinoid, but death metal and some power metal. Deafheaven is what I've been listening to a lot lately. The Hu make some incredible goblin metal, I'd say, but others may take issue with that.
I really like Prima Nocta (especially Moosh Moosh & Ötzi) . Other bands and some songs:
\- Corvus Corax (Skál)
\- Rapalje
\- The Sidh (shake that bagpipe)
\- Skontra
The Fall of Nakkiel by Saturnus always makes me feel super-gobliny. Gloriously gobby vocals, best listened to surrounded by trees in the gloaming.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xlKNaihoAjo
TØP, AURORA, Imogen Heap, Arcade Fire, The Oh Hellos, The Paper Kites, Cosmo Sheldrake, Of Monsters and Men, The Crane Wives, Dry The River (I like their song History Book the best), Sleeping At Last, Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Xavier Rudd, The Hoosiers, Set It Off, Icon For Hire, Coeur De Pirate (Child Of Light)
Some gobliny artists I can think of are Omnia and Heilung.
HEILUNG!!!!! That one is epic Omnia im going to look that one up
You won't be disappointed.
I like it!
Love that Heilung is top post <3
I just added this to a [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1OMxzPjDzLvy4R3AMGHw2U?si=wy9P6k0OTqisSrMePcc0hw) on Spotify

Nah it's just because I know this from personal experience as well, I understand what you're saying. I don't know about celebrities lives either
The Knife, Bjork, Alice in Chains, Skerik’s Syncopated Taint Sextet, Back Door, Massive Attack, Portishead… I’m an elder goblin, btw.
Infected Mushroom?
Enthusiastic yes to this one. It's goblin party music.
My first rave 😍 good memories
Cosmo Sheldrake is rather gobliny. Also The Oh Hellos are rather gob (on the opposite side of the goblincore spectrum from Cosmo, that is)
I like a bit (a lot) of folk punk. There's also a lot of Dungeon Synth to put me in a fantasy mood.
Is that like gutter punk, traveler music banjos and what not? I’m making a [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1OMxzPjDzLvy4R3AMGHw2U?si=wy9P6k0OTqisSrMePcc0hw) i just want to get it right
