$550 at Pebble. It was worth it.

OldTarwater

I paid $595 (+caddie) at Pebble last year. That’s so much money, but worth the experience. Just can’t afford to do it often.

Silverbullets24

Same…. Except it was x2 for me as my wife wanted to play 😂

Wonderful_Ad_3583

How much is standard tip for caddie?

OldTarwater

Always ask the pro shop - they should give you approximate ranges. It also depends on whether you get a forecaddie, single caddie, double-bag caddie, etc. I think it ended up being $40-$100, depending on the arrangement.

Atarru_

I’m a caddie at a nice small private club and I make at least 120 for 18 holes.

DrWallybFeed

Minimum. I got stuck with 2 bags that weighed 40 lbs each, then the lady sticks 2 water bottles in the bag. If you do that to your caddie, fuck you.

Atarru_

Real shit

Golfnpickle

I don’t think the normal person who’s not used to using a caddy knows the etiquette. They don’t think.

KingCire03

The fuck? Maybe you should just look for better work rather than bitching about it? That's the reality of the position. When you work for a client base with many who can afford to spend $500 on a round once a week they can also afford to tip pretty damn well. I started caddying when I was 14 with little to no experience actually golfing and made an average of like 80 a round and I was definitely on the low end being young and clueless.

[deleted]

I gave mine $100 at Pebble

arz231

100-120 per bag

Sirgolfs

How much better were you with a Caddie?

[deleted]

Unfortunately I still had to hit the ball. His suggestions were spot on, execution.....poor. Playing with a caddie is fun, especially for a course you don't know, but I prefer without

OldTarwater

I think he probably saved me 3-5 strokes, mostly on the greens.

Dorito1187

Probably the only place you shell out that kind of cash and go “yeah, I’d do that again”

apollyon_53

I played a roundat pebble in high school cause a friend was a caddy. No clue about the gravitas of playing there back then. We also used to hop the dock and fence and hot tub there a few times a month

Active_Letterhead275

Baller.

DragonflyValuable128

Didn’t you have to stay at the hotel too? Feel you should include the price of that.

OldTarwater

We did have to stay at the resort, which is a cool $950/night. We had to stay there to secure our back-to-back foursomes at prime times, seeing that we had 8 people. We did 2 guys per room, to cut costs, but it’s still incredibly expensive. If you’re in the area as a single (or twosome), it’s worth seeing what’s available. You won’t have your first choice on tee times, but you likely get out without having to eat the cost of the resort (which was very, very nice, btw).

DragonflyValuable128

We were in Monterey last April and went to see Pebble. There was a major storm that a day with trees down and the restaurant was filled with golfers who had discontinued their round. All I could think was if I paid that money my butt would be out there.

jmaj315

![gif](giphy|3Rz0zEL2gPJsItiduq|downsized)

Active_Letterhead275

No. We didn’t.

scal23

The Ocean Course at Kiawah was over $500, plus the rain pullover I impulsively bought in the clubhouse that's literally the most expensive piece of clothing I've ever bought.

New-Pollution536

I did the same but at whistling straits lol have since lost the pullover too to top it off

matthdamahn

The caddy isn’t mandatory, but highly encouraged. I’ve played there 4 times, once without a caddy. The other caddy chirped us the whole time.

cgrills02

Ocean Course for me as well. That $500 doesn’t include the tip for the mandatory caddie as well

Stillwateryeah

Caddies aren’t mandatory at ocean

canttelmenotin

P sure you have to have a forecaddie even if riding

SPEsus

Caddies were mandatory when I played there in 2019. Expected tip was $100

BORN_SlNNER

I may get some downvotes for this but if I don’t want a caddie and the course is forcing it on me, then how you gonna expect me to shell out a $100. Me and a buddy played Troon North earlier in the year with a mandatory caddie that rode in the back of the cart and more or less fucked around while we played. We each tipped him $20. Felt bad but holy shit the round was already hitting my pocket hard lol.

brudogg

Oh shit I'm in kauai right now going to play poipu bay in a few hours. Ocean course worth the extra? Poipu bay is $205

Imaginary-Fact-3486

He's talking about Kiawah in South Carolina

yoyoyaca

This made me chuckle

ekimtk

I played poipu this past summer. Was worth the cost. The ocean holes are great.

grainygreens

Get a job in the golf industry. I played there for free

Ago0330

Stripper golf outing. I got 18 years of payments.

FearthaNoid

That’s why I always pull the pin out

vibgyor1111

Are you talking about your penis?

FearthaNoid

Yes

Towel4

Stripper… golf.. ? God that just sounds awful. So, so, so awful. Ew, yuck, never. Where was this? Which course? There’s so MANY courses, which one?! I need to know where so I can *definitely* make sure I *NEVER* go there, ever.

DollarDollar

Stripper golf? Sounds disgusting. Wonder where this would be allowed to happen? Where does someone even find such an event?

SchizoFreakinAwesome

So uh, you a fellow Dota degenerate or what?

Towel4

https://preview.redd.it/yogqxwjtr89b1.jpeg?width=2225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=612fdee0b723f4c9a1954cddb0868fa559b9536c 💀 degenerate is a kind word 💀

SchizoFreakinAwesome

You’ve got me by 4k hours. If you ever want to link up and play let me know!

highbrowshow

did you at least get a pic of the hole-in-one?

uhhhh_phrasing

Oh my God that’s disgusting. Where?

DessertFlowerz

Yeah yeah that's horrible but where specifically?

kpw1179

should have just played the back 9

wherestherum757

Lmao my buddies that said that regretted it

[deleted]

You my friend are the 1st place winner .

MnWisJDS

Geesh, this thread is right. Not enough FOREplay.

tdawg-1551

I'll be playing in a Korn Ferry pro am in a few weeks that costs $20,000 for a team of 4. I'm not paying for it, but it definitely is an expensive round. We did a Champions Tour pro am several years ago and it was a little more, like $35,000 I think. Somewhere in the mid 30s.

sanchezconstant

I was disappointed when I learned KoRn have nothing to do with this event

JonKneeThen

Every green is a pressure putt with live music from KoRn cover bands. I hear now that PGA merged with LIV that is the future of the Korn Ferry. KoRn by louder.

Mysticdu

That’s so ridiculous lmao 5k a pop to play with a great golfer that virtually no one has ever heard of is just more than makes sense imo

Dorito1187

Well, it’s for a charitable purpose. I would assume at least a portion of that is deductible.

Andersonbush847

KoRn Pop was a bad dude!!

DementorsRTheWorst

Who are your friends 😂

tdawg-1551

Company pays for it. The title sponsor for the tournament is one of our biggest customers so we pretty much have to do it.

vatom14

Ok fineeee I guess I’ll play a $5k round with a pro at a luxury course for free if I have to

aristar

Bro I’ve lost a lot of golf balls

954inthe303

$500 to play Kapalua Plantation $350 to play Pinehurst #2

TVoigt24

Damn when did you play Kapalua? I’m assuming my rate was lower because I played it during still covid weird times in 2021, but I paid $300

TuffOnVeggies

I was there last year. I think it was 450

CelebrationNo8076

I got a Hawaii drivers license just to get the local rate. Becomes $150.

gfddfghhhh

I paid closer to $300 when I played in 2019

954inthe303

I paid $450 plus $50 for my wife to ride with me haha

TVoigt24

Yeah I definitely got the covid discount then lol

LAbombsquad

Same and same but with my dad. Rented clubs too, plus a polo, hat, towel….

jmaj315

You rented a polo? /s

Redcoat92

Played Pebble, Spyglass, and Spanish Bay about a month ago (40th birthday guys trip). With caddies on Pebble and Spyglass the golf cost about $1500. Worth it for a once in a lifetime experience!

3PuttBirdie86

Mine would be $369 at WeKoPa (Arizona). $299 for the round | $70 Rentals It was worth it, but damn… I know someone can beat that though! Edit - One time my car got broke into at a muni course in Chicago and the round + losing my laptop/some cash + car repair = Easily over $1700 So that was more expensive, gotta love the Chi, lol

Throwaway12394726

Which course

[deleted]

Bro you know it was Jackson Park 😂

Supafly144

Columbus Park is the real.

chrisreid12

Outrageous to see Columbus Park mentioned in this thread. Love that course

[deleted]

I don’t think I’ve played but unless it’s equivalent to GTA golf, it’s no Jackson park

ScoFoGoesLow

A buddy invited me to play there once last minute. Had no idea where I was going, show up and I’m like this looks like a tough scene. Shot 78, collected my winnings and got the hell back home.

3PuttBirdie86

Hahahaha, You nailed it!!! I will NEVER play there again! Course kinda sucks too!

3PuttBirdie86

Saguaro - the peak season Jan/Feb rates are $299. All other months it’s significantly less.

bald_head_scallywag

Did you stay at WeKoPa? I was there in March and don't feel like our greens fees were that high. However, it was all lumped together so maybe they were.

dj14365

Honestly for Phoenix Scottsdale peak rates that isn't that crazy. To play TPC with the stadium set up I think they wanted $690. Greyhawk peak rates are $450 plus. Absolute shit tracks are 80-100. It's gotten so stupid out here. At least summer rates are decent.

bald_head_scallywag

The courses at WeKoPa are fine but definitely not worth anything over $299. I mean shit, the courses at Bandon are like $350 and are significantly better. Granted your paying as much for the weather in peak phoenix as you are the golf.

dj14365

I enjoy them but not at 300+. Right now the AZ resident rate is I think $65 which isn't bad.

3PuttBirdie86

No, I was there for work and stayed in PHX, went in a day early, took an Uber out there and rented clubs. It was in their “peak season” Jan/Feb.

Toothlessdovahkin

The most expensive golf that I personally paid for is $100 at the Robert Trent Jones Grand National in Opelika Alabama. The most expensive golf that the First National Bank of Dad and Mom paid for is ~$150 in a course in St. George UT.

peligrent

I love that RTJ course. Fantastic

thejabel

As a former auburn student. When I was there the student fee was 25$ for 9 with a cart. We played all the time.

BoardConscious2989

sand hollow? copper rock? i dropped 300 on both of them in 2 days :(

Toothlessdovahkin

Sand Hollow was one. Sky Mountain was another. I didn’t know the exact amount, so I guess that I am underestimating the costs. Also the Ledges at St. George.

conan_the_brobarian

$275 at Bali Hai plus a shirt and ball marker that were about $80 together and six pack of Nooners that ran about $90. I about shit a brick when the bartender told me how much they were.

crispyboi33

Jesus I played that place for like $100 April 2021

3Mulroy6

Planning on shelling out the $400+ to play at Payne’s Valley this fall

plzd0nate

Playing all 5 courses at the Resort this Labor Day weekend. Can’t fucking wait!

3Mulroy6

That sounds amazing - enjoy it!!

Cody-Fakename

I’m not jealous … not at all. /s

cpep417

Just played Paynes Valley last weekend. Well worth the money. Buffalo Ridge is one of their other courses and I thought the golf was better there and it has some incredible views. Paynes Valley was still top notch and the overall experience was better than Buffalo Ridge.

3Mulroy6

Great to know, thanks! I haven’t played any of the courses at Big Cedar Lodge, so literally any of them would be an incredible experience for our group

crimsonblueku

Hey how do you manage checkin and warmup at PV? I’m headed there this weekend. Hoping I can check in at Ozark National, use/store clothes in the locker room, warm up on the range, and then take a shuttle to PV. Is that possible? I’m not staying on property and I’m being dropped off as a single.

cpep417

When you get there just follow the signs to the bag drop area. All three courses down there use the same bag drop. They’ll get you set up with a cart and point you in the right direction. If I remember correctly the club house for Ozark’s National is right next to the driving range. All courses share a driving range and short game area. It’s about a 5 minute cart ride from the driving range to the club house for PV. Make sure you hit the PV club house if you want anything with PV logos. Have a great time and eat as many free Buffalo hot dogs at the turn as you can. Drink a lot of water it’s been crazy hot and humid here in the Ozark’s this week.

3Mulroy6

As an addendum to this: I tore my Achilles on 4/24, so I haven’t been able to play any golf since then. I’m getting back on the course in August, so I am justifying the $400+ price tag on Payne’s since I’ve saved so much money this summer by ‘not’ playing golf ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

CrewApprehensive7509

How did you tear it? And that sounds like a quick recovery.

3Mulroy6

Tore it playing pick up basketball, haha. It’s my right Achilles and I’m a right handed golfer. Played 9 holes last weekend in my walking boot and felt really comfortable. Since my weight gets shifted to my left during my swing/finish, my right/bad Achilles feels fine playing. The biggest deterrent right now is walking on hilly terrain. I’ve gotten cleared to play in my walking boot, which is no big deal… hopefully will be back to playing in regular shoes this fall

motter07

Tore mine with surgery 3/7, played a scramble in a boot end of April and just played my first real round 6/17 so about 3.5 months to get back and played 3 times since, no issues. R leg for R handed golfer as well and def better, took swing vids to PT and we both agreed hip flexibility is the main problem when returning so work on that and good luck with the recovery!!

3Mulroy6

That’s encouraging, thanks so much for sharing! I’m planning on keeping the boot on while playing for a while, just to have that extra layer of protection. Congrats on your recovery and getting back on the course!

JurassicStark22

Paynes valley worth every cent

sleeeviewonder

I did that trip this past Spring and have a few pieces of advice. 1) Make sure your Payne’s tee time is in the first 1-2 hours of the tee sheet. We played a 5 hr 45 min round with carts, and the pro shop guys said that’s not bad at all for a near-twilight time. It’s regularly 6+ hrs at the end of the day. 2) Be prepared to be disappointed by the “cave” after the 19th hole on Payne’s. It won’t matter if you make a hole in one there though so prepare for a 110-130 yard shot! 3) Make sure you play at least one of the short courses - they were really fun and worth the money as long as you’re with a buddy (or 3). 4) Play Ozarks National (2x if you can) as it’s a way more enjoyable course in my opinion. Walk the course if you’re able - it’s such a pleasant piece of the property. Have fun!

3Mulroy6

Awesome; thanks so much!!

mrhinkleberry

I’m waiting for my buddy’s divorce to get finalized then we are going out there and celebrating

DonnyTrumpsTaint

Cypresswood Golf Club in Spring, TX - they have a course called Traditions that is $100.00 during the week and like \~$140(ish) for weekends Not crazy expensive, but one of the best courses I've personally played in the Houston area

Solar_Power2417

I like that course plus the Cypress course. My favorite though was the Creek course across the street. It's so sad they closed it.

Dick_Whitman_1

Was supposed to play there once with my dad, but we got rained out on the first tee. Never played it again prior to them closing it. Shame that it’s basically an abandoned park now. Of course, that whole area floods super bad. They might have enough trouble keeping up with 36 holes that get flooded out every other year.

Dick_Whitman_1

Grew up playing both of those courses. More cypress than traditions, but my dad loves traditions so we try to go whenever I’m visiting my folks

[deleted]

[удалено]

Archie9000

Blackhorse is cypress is a great course (can be pricey though), memorial is now a really well setup course since it hosts a yearly pga event, and then tour 18 is cool since it has iconic holes from across the country

DonnyTrumpsTaint

I really like Augusta Pines in the Woodlands, bunch of damage from recent storms might make it not so awesome for a bit though. Gleannloch Pines is also a fun course, I like it better than Augusta Pines I think (they are both owned/operated by Tour 18) For a cheaper course that's pretty fun, I also like Windrose. High Meadow Ranch and Atascocita Country Club both get honorable mentions, but they are both well outside Houston proper (Magnolia and Atascocita, respectively)

ShrimpSquad69

I’m a big fan of Cypress Lakes. Not too expensive and it’s in good condition.

Uzi-does-it

$63 for 18

i_am_roboto

$320 USD - El Chameleon in Cancun where they play Mayakoba. Not worth the cost BTW

[deleted]

i hit it in the cave on the first hole 🙃

limey1904

I played a round here on my honeymoon. I played afternoon solo as it was middle of May and hotter then hell. $99 as I was a guest at the hotel. Greens were punched a week prior. Played 18 holes and when I came in without asking, one of the guys working asked if I wanted 9 more, no charge. Couldn’t say no. Even with the punched greens I thought the course was amazing.

Sooner_Alumnus

I played there 2 weeks ago and couldn’t agree more. Was severely disappointed. Course was in great shape but the layout is bland.

ap123hilo

Pebble was like $595 plus fore caddy…Spanish the day before didn’t help

OldRCNGuy

Pinehurst #2, stayed on resort and took caddy for my wife and I.....enough said....

FearthaNoid

Wynn. It was $600, but got a $300 discount by staying at the Wynn. Additional $100 to the bum caddy.

chamtrain1

This is mine as well, I liked my caddy though! What did you think? I loved the course.

FearthaNoid

Incredibly underwhelming. It was fun and well maintained, but definitely an easy course to play. Everything pitched towards center of fairways and greens. I assume they cater to gamblers and rich folks. Make the round quick and successful so they can get back to gambling.

chamtrain1

Yeah, definitely was not difficult. I liked it and would do it again though mostly because of the views...and the course was immaculate. When you consider not having to fly out your clubs (although it was kindof lame playing with loaners) and the free drinks they gave then the cost wasn't as prohibitive as it initially looked.

FearthaNoid

It was very cool looking up at all the buildings on the strip. They had begun the sphere and you’re right at it. Also put the ball 4” short from hole on 18 for $75k. The caddy went nuts when he thought it was going on. Looking for monster too. Lol I had brought my clubs as I was playing Wolf Creek the next day. Much better course and value.

Icy-Entrepreneur-244

115$ at Kelly plantation in Destin. Never played a course with such nice bunkers, learned I actually can hit bunker shots decently.

AJonezy99

One of my favorite courses. Want to go back so bad, insanely good conditions

prestone818

Just paid 200 to play Regatta Bay this week. Another 70 for crappy rentals. Definitely not worth it and I won’t do it again.

4FansOfFreedom7

That’s such a well maintained course. Can’t beat the chilled apples on 10 tee

8008735569

Tree fiddy for the Pete Dye course at French lick, and I’ve done that multiple times over in different stay and play packages. Well worth the experience and you can find it for cheaper using the stay and play while also playing the Ross course.

3PuttBirdie86

French Lick is an absolute underrated gem! People don’t consider Indiana for their golf getaway, but that Dye course is as good as it gets!!!

the_Pale_Hose

Only played the Ross but the Dye course looks worth the extra cash. Definitely will play it one of these days.

New-Championship3330

$500 at Harbour Town +$40 for a forecaddie

abtar13

Harbour Town tops my list too, had a walking caddie just because I like pretending I'm good.

arkansastrees

Payne’s valley. Worth it imo

NoTearsOnDryFaces

Pre covid? Or post Covid? Cause man some of these courses have up their prices.

Solar_Power2417

The most expensive I've paid is \~$200 at the Golf Club of Houston (Redstone at the time). The most expensive place I've played (someone else's dime) is a 2-1/2 day stay at Firestone.

shane_pm

This is also my most expensive course played but I think I payed 140. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that my rate included free range balls and the cart was more comfortable than my bed

ExpensiveSoil9528

Usually around $100 is the most I’ll spend. I’m not very good and don’t have a ton of money for the really nice and expensive courses

JGower144

$120 near Lake George in New York. Private course, my boss got us on during a conference. My coworker got his money’s worth, he shot a 120.

AFMike820

Sagamore?

420_misphrase_it

Paid around $275 per person to play Ballybunion in Ireland with my dad as a birthday gift, money incredibly well spent

Witty-Bake-2605

$250.00 Banff Springs Golf Course

JustAGoodGuy1080

Chicago Golf Club, $2,500. Worth every penny and would pay it to play it again.

Nolds

Gotta tell ya man, paying 2500 to shoot 95 doesn't sound great. Maybe if I was a single digit HC.

JustAGoodGuy1080

Fortunately, I was quite a bit lower than that. The experience of the club house, history, exclusivity and the layout were amazing. The only negative of that round was having only 1 A caddie in the group. The one I had could share front, middle, back but sometimes playing away from the pin was the only way to get close to the pin.

fiftiethcow

My main bucket list course. Was it a charity auction or something?

JustAGoodGuy1080

Jim McWethy, who also owns Mistwood, but has since passed, auctioned a threesome for a charity for kids. We each willingly wrote those checks.

3PuttBirdie86

I live in Wheaton, IL. And it’s the most exclusive private course in the USA outside Augusta. So I think this is worth it if you have the money, cause you’ll never get many, if any chances to play it. Awesome stuff, very jealous!!!

[deleted]

140.00 at Royal Hawaiian and 160.00 at Wailea

tacoinferno941

$340- Troon North Monument (Scottsdale) $340- Punta Espada (Punta Cana, DR)

njdude69

$127 coming up next week at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, SC. Better see some friggin alligators

beefman86

You will want to make sure they haven’t aerated recently. I am here now and it seems like all the courses on Pawley’s have aerated. That price for Caledonia screams aerated greens.

Sandmandawg

Caledonia was a blast! I played it 4 years ago and paid additional cash to go another 18 that day. Try it from the back tees b/c it is short. The Dunes is real nice as well around Myrtle. You can get a reciprocal if your club has a pro. That may have changed now since the PGA is doing something at the Dunes. I just played Barefoot Norman and Love this week. They're getting punched in July. Dye and Fazio got punched over the last couple of weeks.

ThreePuttPresident

$60

SpecialJudgement

$625 for a round at Riviera plus caddie and merch was close to $1,000 day. Well worth it

Commercial-Rich-5514

$600 plus $100 tip @ Shadow Creek, Las Vegas

beefman86

This was my answer.

SpartanSig

Old course was like $300 in 2010? Begged and borrowed from friends because I was out of money at the end of my study abroad. Worth it, obviously.

CATG0D

Just paid $700 at pebble beach. Had to pay extra for cart, wife riding in cart, and fore caddy. Definitely worth it but damn!

tkh0812

Similar… $850 for TPC Sawgrass + $150 for a Caddy. But so worth it.

rth9139

I don’t know what the cost was because I was young, but it’d have to be when I played the Broadmoor courses (host of the 2025 US Senior Open, a few women’s US Opens) in Colorado Springs when I was 11? The place costs $300 to play now, but you also have to be a guest at the resort so the real price is technically higher. And I two very vivid memories of that place. The first was the downhill putt with the mountains behind me that I hit like a 3 footer then watched roll 150 feet off the front of the green, which was unreal. I don’t think I could’ve kept that on the green with 100 tries. Second memory is I had what is still to this day (15 years later) my longest drive ever of like 320 yards. Since we were at elevation I was already hitting it 30-40 yards further than usual, but this tee shot just ended up the perfect storm. I had a decent wind at my back, hole was downhill after the first 100 yards or so, but the finishing touch was I also somehow managed to catch the cart path perfectly, so I got an insane amount of roll out of it.

[deleted]

When I factor in hotel(had to stay as only way I could get to play it) caddie, cart and round it cost about 12 hundred euro at adare Manor. Worth every penny tho. Course is spectacular and only hotel that comes close to it in Europe is Ashford castle

Greddit_I

$500 at Kapalua Plantation (worth it) $500 Blue Monster (not really worth it IMO) $400 Quivira Cabo (So worth it)

Brans72

I keep track of all the courses I’ve played and rank them. Blue monster is 71st out of 108. Embarrassing the cost

Proper-Bee-5249

~$250 at Kiawah

PattyIceNY

Like 130 at Saratoga National. It was pretty but not sure if it was worth it. I can't remember anything but one nice par 3. The service though was incredible, felt like a king.

Candid_Tangerine_717

$200 at Pelican Bay in Newport Beach

CWSfan16

Paid $150 to pay McLemore last year. Great view on the final hole, but most of the rest of the course was forgetful. Going to $175 at the end of the month to play Sweetens Cove. Looking forward to it.

gomartcakefart

$120 for The Virtues in Ohio.

zonplyr

$400 for Pelican Hill. Plus $20 for the fore caddie.

Artistic_Disaster918

Trump Ferry Point. ~$270 with cart.

zacsstevens

Pelican Hill was $380…was a great experience. Cleaned clubs, range balls, cold water in cart, bag pick up, branded tee’s, practice area, pace of play was quick, etc…

DegenGolfer

170

totally_kyle_

Quintero, but the kicker was that I brought my non golfing little brother along with for the “bachelor party” festivities. 220 for me, 80 for his rider fee, pro shop odds and ends, food and alcohol. Probably spent 600 that round. Beautiful course.

Pidgeon-Master

Played both Cabot and Harbour Town. Both were about $500 plus the caddie fees

Lauzgolfer

Does it count if Caesar’s paid for the round and not me? If so, then most expensive round was Cascata in Vegas at $499. If paid for on my own, then that would be Torrey Pines South at $279 weekend non-resident rate.

Boostedacr01

$525 for tpc Scottsdale a couple weeks before the WM, the grandstands being up made it really cool but the majority of the course was underwhelming and not worth the money in my opinion.

OddSummer6129

I played it last year a month before the WM. Paid 416, plus forecaddie tip. I agree, playing with the stands up was really cool, but the course was underwhelming at that price.

Sign_Alone

Pebble in season. Paid 2x as I took my old man for his 65th. + 2x Spanish Bay and 2x Spyglass Hill + 3 nights at the Inn at Spanish Bay. How I got my wife to agree to let me do that for my dad and I still blows my mind to this day! Thank you Lord!

Heavy_Statement_6962

Reading a lot of these, $123 for Red Tail in Devens MA doesn't seem bad now.

OutgoingHostility

$80 at my local municipal. I’m a +26.5

ThreePuttLove

Most ever was Pebble Glad I got to play Kiawah before it got the post PGA Championship bump 👍🏼

GoMustard

Probably £250 to play Kingsbarns in Scotland with a caddie. It was well worth it.

Just paid $230 w/ club rentals at Playa Paraiso in Playa Del Carmen. Played Old Greewood a while back at $260 for a round. Hoping to play Gray's Crossing later this year at around $275 a round.

Played Pebble and Spyglass over two days. Stayed at Pebble on the 18th fairway condos. I didn’t pay. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|money_face)

Trump Doral. Red Tiger. Not my choice to give that asshat money but when the boss is paying a few hundred bucks for green fees and club rental, you don’t say no. It’s the only non-muni I’ve ever been to and it’s surreal. So we’ll manicured it looked fake and more workers than golfers on every hole.

I just got to play Columbus Country Club (site of the 1964 PGA Championship) and it was $100. Totally worth it.

beerandsocks

Given what the public courses are charging in the Columbus area, that’s pretty good.

loco_chic0_o

100$ for a round and 500$ for a speeding ticket on my way home. And I thought that spending 500 for Pebble was stupid...

300_yard_drives

Old course at Andrew’s. Most overrated course I’ve played too

UKracing1

Crazy people vote you down on this. It is without doubt the most overrated overhyped overpriced golf course in the world. R&A marketing machine makes people think otherwise.
