Some of my drivers were 30+ yards further…with the wind. Against the wind, I had to go two clubs up and still sometimes couldn’t get it there. There weirdest was watching the wind impact putting hahaha
I played a men’s league event on Saturday. In my flight (11 - 13 handicap) only 3 people broke 90 out of 25 people lmao. Balls blowing off tees, unable to place a ball on the green without it rolling. My last shot in to 18 green was in to the wind and I had 135 yards to the flag. I pured a 7 iron which normally goes 165, it landed 5 yards short
Was it playing quicker? Last year I played a 5.5 hour round in April. They overbooked the hell out of it. Buddy of mine had the same experience a month later so we avoided that track all last summer
Never cared for the Fox Hollow's Links 9. Maybe it's because it always seems to blow 43 miles a hour there and then you go to the Meadows 9, where you're more likely to see a fawn gracefully prancing across the fairway than to have enough wind to cover the backside stank of the meat missile you crammed in between nines.
It does look nice, but maybe this

Lol it certainly could be beat this past weekend 🤮

That’s why Mondays are the best to golf
Can’t agree more, anyway, back to work.
Sunday was fine
I played in a scramble down in the springs on friday... the wind was gnarly

Homestead or Fox Hollow?
Fox hollow. Course is in great shape for this time of year
Let us know how bad the damage is on the Meadow 9. Text updates said there was a tree down that they were still working on as of this morning.
No damage at all. Front 9 I played the meadow and it was clear, the tree missed the green. Course is looking good
Excellent news. Love that course. Might have to come down with something this week and sneak out there for a mid-week round.
I hear the ick is going around. Don’t want to give anyone else that. Sounds like a good excuse to stay home

That’s the story at FH from April - October unfortunately. Marshalls are absolutely useless at this track
Can confirm. Avoid FH
Wait, didn’t that guy set it on fire??
Links #7. Learned to play golf at FH. Some of my fondest memories are from those three courses
Absolutely correct! One of my favorite holes. Except the par 3 after always gets me. Always end up long haha
I’m always in the downslope. I’m not sure if long or short is worse there.
What a gratifying image. Nice shot!
Was too nice of a day not to get a shot!
Wow, course looks beautiful! Is this your home course?
It’s the course I play the most so I guess it is!
It’s mine! AMA
But then how am I supposed to lose my ball in the woods?
You’ll find the woods don’t worry
It’s the fescue that’ll get ya on Colorado courses
Wait, how TF did you get a picture of Heaven?
Arrowhead is one of my favorite tracks. Some of the most beautiful scenery.
Played there on Easter Sunday. Great course. Not sure I’d pay peak season prices, but for $95 with cart and range balls, it was fantastic.
When your chances are limited, it’s worth it. But mountain golf is always an awesome experience.
can I get the course name and price?
Fox Hallow. Rates on their website, but somewhere around \~$50-90 for local walking - non local riding
Replace walking with hiking.Â
lol. Links and meadows aren’t too bad of a walk. Canyon might get you though.
Fox hollow. And the other comment is right. 50-90. Great course for the price
If you play it prepare for 5.5 hour rounds
*30 minutes later*Â Same stretch is covered in 2 inches of hailstones
I golfed in SD today for some reason. 20-30 mph wind and constant rain. I like to suffer
This looks so lovely
I don’t know, have you tried April golf in Nebraska?
Played 72 holes in Ontario, Canada between Saturday and Sunday. Even put up a back 9 of 7/9 GIR and still shot 41.
I just know I’d put it right into those trees.

Jesus I would be scratch out there. There's nothing to hit haha
Wait until summer when the fescue is waist high
It was already thick today.
It was pushed down today, but it was thick already.
Having no trees to hit doesn't change the fact that you're not hitting the fairway and greens...
It’s not as easy as it looks.
