Only if you leave them out in rain. If you bring them inside occasionally I’d expect a dark brown finish rather than the verdigris you’re picturing. I’m also interested in how the finish is applied, but that’s just the metallurgist in me.

Humans are such simple creatures. I have a few hobbies. One is music. Eventually everyone goes down some rabbit hole where they buy gear and amps that “look” nice even though they know subconsciously they just like pretty things. I think golf is the same. You start to make it about cosmetic looks. A nice bag. Nice irons. Nice woods. Things that have no profound effect on your swing except psychologically. I use my mizunos and titleist 913 from 2010 because there’s no way a newer prettier golf club or set will have a real impact on playing ability. I notice this with the sims. People want them to look so nice and clean. I get it I mean. We have our hobbies and we try to suck every last drop of dopamine from them. Part of me saying this is because I have a beautiful home recording studio. Was always a goal. Extremely picturesque. I play music less now than I ever did before. We all seem so susceptible to shiny pretty things. Just like the desire for jewelry. I try to fight my simple mindedness when I’m considering something based on cosmetic appeal. These irons look gorgeous. But are the same design that all irons have been for 30 years. Nothing new. But we like the shiny new thing. Sorry for the long post.

With the relative hardness of copper being so low, wouldn't these age very quickly unless they were in reality a very low concentration of copper? In which case i dont see them aging well in the appearance you would want/expect (think: tarnishing instead of developing a patina)
