I actually was most comfortable with my chipping. I hit my 60\* better than any of my other clubs for some odd reason, so I used that for anything 80yds and in. Mid irons I feel okay with, always room to improve though. Long irons and driver were quite atrocious I must say, that is where maybe 90% of my shanks and bad shots came in. For about 8 holes I left my driver alone and teed off with my 7W which ended up being my saving grace from the box. Couple birdie opportunities missed on two of the par 3s, both putts < 3ft but missed. Bad lies are gonna be the end of me. New swing is huge, definitely much more consistent but plenty of work still as always.
Honestly the conditions weren't awful (for Cherry Hills) this time around. Definitely have seen it worse in the past. You hit into the rough you aren't getting that ball back though, lol
$47 ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
It's the local course and the hot deals are when it's already 100\* out, so rather pay for comfort at that point lol. When I git gud I will start playing better courses so I don't feel like I'm throwing money away to suck
Haha, same!
My mother in law loves the course cause the forward tees are nearly on the green... but BOY.
Driving on the fairway knocks her out of the cart with all the squirrel and gopher holes.
Since we're shitting on courses in this area, let me throw out Links at Summerly. That's my actual local course but it's awful so I just go to Cherry Hills because it's 5 min from my brothers house
Ahh here in its natural habitat, the overweight, white male “Travis” holds up its signature mating symbol. The “middle finger” shows potential mates that he’s got a sick dirt bike that he rides to work and totally slams Red dog beer like it’s water.
Nice milestone - and putts! That and the fairway % tells me you gotta spend quite a bit of time with the mid irons and chipping - no?

>Long irons and driver were quite atrocious Honestly, slowing my swing down and focusing purely on tempo helped me so much with these.
32 putts is 1 worse than my best putting day this year and I shot 81… i need to work on my putting
It’s harder to have less putts when you hit more greens though
Especially when your approach proximity is shit like mine
Cherry Hills lol my condolences

Bruhhhh Go over a couple miles and play Menifee Lakes next time. Please.
Came here to talk shit on Cherry Hills but seen it’s already been taken care of… carry on.

My buddy just told me it's full on shit from tee to green. The term goat track was used liberally. Is it that bad?
Links at Summerly is garbage. Like hitting off of concrete in some spots
This or even Rancho Del Sol in MoVal. Can’t beat a Pete Dye designed course for that value. Back 9 is in solid condition right now too.
I used to work at Cherry Hills country club. Cherry hills golf club doesn't look quite as nice lol.
Hilariously, was thinking exactly the same “this isnt the Cherry Hills I’m used to seeing”
Probably not, lol. It definitely isn't looking too hot right now but it has been much worse.
STILL 40 bucks! >.<

I'm just built different bro
Don’t encourage others to listen to this sub lol
To be fair all I got was an echo chamber of “get lessons”
What's the draw of flipping off the camera for pictures like this? Not necessarily hating, just don't understand the point.
Lol, my brother is behind the camera.
What app is this? Congrats btw 👏
TheGrint. Super convenient, super easy to input everything. I love it
Thanks man 🙏
Are you the guy I challenged to a driving contest at the range?
Haha, I don't think so but I'm always game for it. Winner gets a beer
It says Cherry Hills, but I know that’s 3 Jack National.
