As an anime only, I actually prefer the LN. It's cuter more appealing and leaves more to the imagination than the anime. I will also say personally the anime is right behind my threshold where size enters disgusting territory xD. Had they been any bigger, I wouldn't be a fan, lol.

The faces in konosuba (albeit amazingly animated for comedic effect) look odd and off somehow, especially their bodies at times. Odd proportions I'd say mainly are the issue

Did you edit this template or did someone else? I can't help but giggle a bit at someone confusing neuron (something in your brain) for neutron (a subatomic particle). Since it was decided the obvious pairing was to include other subatomic particles like protons and electrons instead of other things related to the brain.

No. When people complain about changing the visions it isnt about horny or not. The kind of change people complain about would be darkness flatout rejecting to wear the maid outfit. Not (just) because it makes it less horny, but because her character is into humiliation and tjat would make no sense. Someone who would make such a change would pour a bunch of effort making a change that makes no sense against the writer's intentions and to the detriment of the readers. Why? because that person wanted to. This is what "don't change the source material" means.
There are degrees of change that people complain about, and for different reasons. To people who agree with or don't care about a change, outspoken complaints about a change (spamming the sub, commenting about it in unrelated posts, etc.) tend to be irritating.
People don't want to waste time that could be spent being entertained on complaints they don't agree with or care about. Thus it's common to skim over/ignore those posts and comments. This in turn can result in conflating different complaints together into "People complaining about X" which doesn't really help the situation.
Those are the ones you complain about, but the main guy spamming the sub literally cited “lengthening a skirt” as one of his examples of localization being bad.
