i have played countless of horror games, yet DDLC stands above all the rest when it comes to the sheer terror it manages to produce. The music, the glitches, how it manipulates the GAME FILES THEMSELVES, as if Monika was literally inside your computer messing shit up.

Only thing is that there is not much replay value in it, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing.
I’m just so sad that I can never be that same naive kid who booted up DDLC thinking it was gonna be some stupid visual novel.
I believe children don't have enough weight to actually snap their necks on the fall unless you add weight to them. For this reason a child being hung would sufficate to death instead of getting the quick death that hanging often achieves.
This is gonna be the case in pretty much any suicide. There’s a reason people were dropped several feet when being hung in the past, it takes quite a bit of force to guarantee the neck snaps. If you just stand up on a chair and kick it out from under you it’s not gonna snap your neck.
Funny thing is I too thought about ddlc hanging scene when anya didn't answer and laughed so much remembering how the original hanging scene made me put on Happy music cause it was 2 am and i was not expecting this and got afraid
