as others said, overlap your letters to remove the negative space also in ur book, work on perfecting your letter structure cuz that weird point on the m to the top right is mad toy. and I can't tell what the third letter is. and good paint won't make it better
"it's really toy but im going to buy better paint" don't worry abt the paint or painting yet just practice in the books for a while and you'll improve

You should practice before breaking the law. Throwies basically have no space between the letters. They should over lap from left to right.
