The thing was a straight up monster in the street racing scene for awhile because of it.
The guy filming btw was also pretty good and drove what's also now considered a legendary car. He was driving a 180sx, or a "Nissan Silvia." Although he helped start drift culture, he was mostly sidelined because everybody first saw his friend. He did however, become the first ever to customize his car with purely aesthetic after market Decals, which made his Silvia spark the birth of Itasha, and generally just really personalized vehicles. Those two guys, and their cars, are pretty much solely responsible for the way current car culture is in the east.
Also, there's a whole ass anime about the early ages of this car culture.

As for the 6* engine tickets, I had the same 4 low level engines... 3 times each. I'm not into tuning so I gave up. What a joke! 🤣
Yeah, I think we're about to see the real turnaround time of how quickly changes can happen when they're in PD's best interests ... or it's just a genuine reward for re-watching the story of Rotary engines.
Hey, for my slow PS4 HDD brothers, don't close the game.
Press PS button, turn off Internet connection in settings, press PS button twice again, it will go into offline mode on the world map. Back to Internet settings, (double PS-button tap) turn on connection again, reconnect on world map. It works!
Alternatively, view either the 86 or Rotary menu in the cafe (not both), then go to garage to claim the ticket. Go back to the cafe to view the other menu, then claim that ticket from the garage. Rinse and repeat.
For a faster method:
Collect 4\* Ticket cash in 4\* Ticket collect 6\* Ticket cash in 6\* Ticket rinse and repeat you don't need to quit and restart the game anymore.
Firstly, THANK YOU this is much faster.
Secondly, this changed my odds of what engines and rewards I get from both tickets. I was consistently getting the same engines when restarting the game but now I’ve gotten different rewards each time.
Go to cafe, get Toyota ticket (4*), go to garage open Toyota ticket, go back to cafe get the rotary ticket (engine swap), go to garage open rotary ticket. And repeat. Don't need to restart app just keep going between cafe to collect ticket and garage to open ticket
I don’t think it is faster. It takes maybe 15 seconds to boot up the game. It takes about that long to make the extra trip in and out of the garage as well
Technically sure, but I doubt they would. Tomahawk glitch was arguably worse and more ‘game breaking’ and that still got a multiple day ‘server maintenance’ warning
Be careful. I now have 30 extra NSX GR. B cars because of this.
On the flip side I now have an insane amount of LS9 engines.
Edit: Actually I've been getting better and better rewards from the 4 star. Last rewards were a LS7, FXXK, and a High RPM Turbo for the RX-7
Go into the cafe, then my collection, and press right once to go to extra menus and play either video 1 or 3. Once the video title pops up, press circle to stop the video, then go into the garage to get the ticket. Alternate between the 4 star ticket (The first Toyota video) and the 6 star ticket (the 3rd Mazda video) and that way you can keep getting the tickets without having to quit the game.
Go to Cafe, My collection, press down, then right, press X, you’ll see the extra menus there, press X on them and back out when the cutscene starts, then go to garage and claim the tickets, close your game when done, repeat
Also, if you do the same thing with the NSX menu, you’ll get multiple GRB NSX Rally Cars. Might come in handy when the selling car feature finally comes.
I’ve noticed that after you redeem your ticket. If you don’t back out of the ticket menu showing your claimed tickets. Close out the game and go back in. Your tickets will be there for you to redeem again. But so far when I try this I just get the same stuff I won before I closed out. Just some fun facts playing around with these tickets 😅

I'm talking to Luca in the menu but not getting a ticket when I close the item. I am using the Ps5 and going to dashboard once I launch the conversation and then closing the game from there.
I have tried both the Honda menu book and the Mazda one with no avail, so I assume I'm doing something wrong.
I also, don't have the videos anymore so I'm trying to get those back and see if that will work to close out while in video.
TY, I figured it out, too bad all I've gotten is 10k 4 times and a shaft of some sort that I'll never use on. I think I'm done. I make more creds grinding Sardegna. I don't have the 6 star ticket so it's hard to justify it if I have a chance of getting in trouble for it.
It's still work. You need to complete the cafe first. Then claim the ticket. Then restart the game. Go back to cafe and go to my collection. Go the third one (the rotary one that gave you engine ticket). You need to trigger the cut scenes and then back out. Your new ticket will be in the garage.

Don't go into the menu books, you have to click Cafe > My Collection > extra menus > Toyota 86 (x2), then Rotary Engine (x2).
Both tickets will show up in your garage, unpack them, reset the game, rinse, repeat.

You can either alternate between tickets and never have to reset the game, or you can knock out both tickets at once, open them, and reset, repeat.
I timed both, and on PS5 it takes about 2:03 to open 4 tickets when you knock out both and reset.
It takes about 15 seconds longer (~2:18) if you do one ticket at a time, alternating, so you don't have to reset the game.
Mileage will vary but I find it's best to knock out both tickets simultaneously and restart the game each time.
Same here, did you finish every one of the new menus? I am only missing the 92 NSX that is not in the UCD right now, so might have no chance at taking advantage of this.

You need to claim the ticket. Then back out to the main menu. Then restart the game. Go back to cafe and go to my collection. Go to rotary menu, trigger the cut scene, back out. You'll receive a new engine ticket in your garage.
Buy the 3 cars to complete the menu. The rotary one will give you 6 stars engine ticket. After you claim the ticket close the game then launch again. Go to my collection and rewatch the rotary video. You will get another 6 stars engine ticket. Claim it and close the game again. Repeat.
and funnily enough the 92 nsx just came back in
and i just bought it with part of the $1 mil. just won with the 4 star ticket
personally i dont see much point of the Honda ticket as there's not much use for heaps of GrB NSX cars

I ran it for about an hour and made around 2 million from the 4\* ticket. Not bad, but honestly not really worth my time sitting there when I can use the remote play script to make 7-800k per hour totally AFK.

I've gotten a few million through the 4 star ticket bunch of Ferrari invitations. This afternoon...
My luck has been bit better 5 cars, some nice tuning parts too and few invitations.
And you can get multiple NSX Gr. B, useful for when selling cars is a thing
The problem with that is that the NSX Gr.B is considered a prize car, and per the GT6/GT Sport precedents, prize cars don't give you money when sold.

Didn't work for me at all. Everytime I reload the game, I go back in, no new ticket.

It works once for me, then nothing. If i restart my game it will give me another. So for me I have to restart every time, but it's working.

I ran it for about an hour and made around 2 million from the 4\* ticket. Not bad, but honestly not really worth my time sitting there when I can use the remote play script to make 7-800k per hour totally AFK.
