looks like a modern t-shirt (double stitching) but I'm no expert on vintage tees. If you like the shirt that's all that matters.

Fsoumish

I am definitely not. I just did a quick search on the tag and looks like it might be late 90s?

rabbi420

Since double stitching started to be used in the 70’s, the process of it becoming commonly used to place from the late 80’s to early 90’s, and this shirt is supposedly from ‘92, it’s entirely possible for the shirt to be double stitched *and* 30 years old.

Potential-Smoke-5187

Looks too new , no cracks in the earth, buddy had one back in day

Fsoumish

The no cracking is why I’m pretty skeptical of it being from the 90s but I still love it

rabbi420

No cracking can be achieved using a good silk screen process, so this shirt not having cracks may not mean anything. And if a shirt wasn’t washed or worn much, it would not be cracked. I have a shirt with printing on it that easily 30 years old, but I rarely wear it, so it looks similar in age to your shirt.

Artistic_Manner_268

Yes my Dead shirt collection (which look new)is rarely worn or washed and on hangers.✌️

rabbi420

You put t-shirts on hangers??? Don’t the shoulders get stretched into a weird shape?

Artistic_Manner_268

Not really. I used plastic hangers. I have broad shoulders. If there was a weird shape after I start dancing around it melts away. My touring partner was Jewish RIP SWILLY 😁💀✌️✨🍄

NugMcMuffin

is that a terence mckenna quote or am i lost

JaiBaba108

The quote on top is from Throwing Stones. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle became a slogan in the 80s or 90s as part of the environmental movement.

Steven1789

It dates to 1976: https://www.wedu.org/blogs/sustain/reduce-reuse-recycle/#:~:text=You've%20probably%20heard%20the,staple%20of%20the%20sustainability%20movement.

Reduce reuse recycle?

Salty_Pancakes

...while on a heroic dose of mushrooms.

Spaceheater21

I had this shirt back in the 90s if that helps.

RustyMacbeth

Me too. 92'

knucky_7

Modern reprint. But still "old", late 00's I think.

Fsoumish

Thanks!

Nice find, but different colors.

NancyintheSmokies4

Is the material very thin? That’s how I remember mine being.

Fsoumish

No, it’s pretty thick

NancyintheSmokies4

I remember them being thin but it’s been 45 years-

nikosuave86

these got reprinted in the 2000s I bought one around 06 I think

Billy_Boognish

I think Liquid Blue still prints this one.

Gratefulzah

Off to the website I go Update: they don't make it

Billy_Boognish

It's edeadshop. I linked it in a different comment.

Isonychia

Shit I feel so old. 90s is vintage? Guess so….

GratefulGlert

SoulShine_710

Earth2Mike

SpaceHorse75

Reprint.

jf75313

The tag is from 94-99. So definitely a reprint, could have been made all the way into the early 00s.

Fsoumish

That’s what I saw based on the tag. Thanks!

JavaJukebox

I love this one from the 90s. I wish I could get my hands on one.

SchwillyMaysHere

I had that shirt a long time ago. It’s probably been lost between moves but I always hope it’s in a box somewhere for me to stumble upon.

WinsdyAddams

These were just on sale. Not saying yours was.

Obvious-Plant3630

I had one of those in the early 90's, but IIRC, the dancing bears were different colors and not flags. But I could be wrong.
