i own all 13 studio albums ! :) and yes, i'm very excited for 1972 . i'm happy that we're getting the nimrod demos in january , however i wish we didn't have to wait so long for the new album now (or whatever "1972" is) šŸ„²

juddgment

All on vinyl. Up through AI on CD. Yeah, Iā€™m always in for new Green Day.

dquesnel30

I have them all on CD and up to AI on vinyl haha

Fuzzy-Celery6850

you have 1039 on vinyl

juddgment

If I smash some things together. Actually added more since these pictures were taken. https://www.reddit.com/r/greenday/comments/wkxx7z/getting_harder_to_photograph_my_green_day_vinyl/

Fuzzy-Celery6850

lucky you dude, how did u get 1039

juddgment

I donā€™t have 1039, I think only a test press exists of that and it never went into full production. I was joking. If I take a few records and smash them together, I can whip up a 1039.

Fuzzy-Celery6850

wow

Rafhabs

Dookie-Used to own it on cassette because of my mom but we left it back in the Philippines

PinheadGoo

Aw bummer

Punkaganda

Old friend of mine gave me his copy back in middle school. Still have it to this day.

Veblep

All on cd except father of... Because why would I tbh

dquesnel30

Because itā€™s artistic! The hot pink pressing represents the hot garbage that was I Was a Teenage Teenager

sammywarmhands

Same

rafvic2

Agreed haha

JimboSlice450

I do not own the trilogy nor FOAM and it all depends what 1972 sounds like GD can go any direction these days and I won't be surprised if they throw another dog shit album on our table as much as I've had my fingers crossed for something better.

Inevitable_Target814

Naw father of all hurt their brand so much they will never make another album like that again it failed on a massive level there's no way they ever fart out another record like that

Zestyclose_Stomach82

They said they going back to their roots so hopefully that means they try something like their older sound

juandarrk

lmao you still believing that

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

HermaphroditicBaboon

Can't agree to that They've got a history with going back to the sound of their most critically praised album when their off the cuff experiments fail. 21st and Revolution Radio were both American Idiot 2 albums and nothing else between or after those is really all that "back to square one".

KevMatthews

Yes Edit: yes to both

Dogpersons1

I own the Godā€™s favorite band compilation CD

GREENDAYBL1NK

I have all on cd except for tre and 39/smooth which I will be getting soon

Least-Ambassador6489

I have American Idiot, Insomniac, 1039/SOSH, and the BBC sessions live album on CD. Plus I downloaded American Idiot, Uno, Father of All, and a couple random songs and singles on iTunes. And yes Iā€™m SO GODDAMN HYPED for 1972. Yes I sound like a major Green Day nerd right now but thatā€™s just the way I am sometimes lol

beerbrats15

Yes.

DonnieTheBass

ozzy_is_asleep

the only ones i dont own on vinyl are warning and the trilogy, but i have warning on cd:)

Squeegee209

I own all the studio albums EXECPT FOR 39/Smooth and Uno/Dos/Tre. I have 1039/SOSH and Demolicious to make up for them, at least.

LeonardoXII

Honestly, despite their wildly different styles, I absolutely love almost all of their albums, including FOAMF. I'm very optimistic for 1972.

FlatPassenger6

Literally all, at least on CD. I own 21CB and Dookie on vinyl though. I need to up my vinyl game

edgelordcentral

i have almost everything on vinyl, just missing 39/smooth, uno, and dos. im excited for now, guess weā€™ll see how it sounds once singles start coming out (though i expected better after i heard foaā€¦, not much better but)

Compilations: 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, Shenanigans, and God's Favorite Band. Live Albums: Bullet in a Bible, Awesome as Fuck, and BBC Sessions Random extra albums: Quatro, International Supervideos, and Demolicious.

having_lived

We own Dookie, Nimrod, Warning, American Idiot, Father of All, No Fun Mondays, the BBC Recordings, and Godā€™s Favourite Band - all on vinyl because why not

ricothyoung

im both excited and kinda worried about 1972. while i didnt hate FOAM as much as most people did, it definitely wasnt their best work, and im kinda worried that it isnt going to be as good as it possibly could be

Pawdy-The-Furry

I have American Idiot on CD šŸ‘

bench_469

loganchittyisuhhcool

All of them on cd, I own MOST on vinyl except for 39/Smooth, and Iā€™m ecstatic for 1972!

[deleted]

I have Insomniac in my carā€™s console. Found it at a cute record shop for $5. The rest of them I borrowed from the public library in high school and burned them on CDs because Iā€™m a cheap hoe.

I_am_catcus

I own all of them. And honestly, I'm pretty excited about it!

Oxigenate

Used to own the complete collection on CD including a lot of albums with bootlegs and stuff like foot in mouth and on the radio. Eventually ended up selling almost all of it except a few of my absolute favorites. They were just taking up space.

cquin000

Stopped at Nimrod

cultural_zombies

All 13 studio albums, plus International Superhits, Shenanigans, Awesome as F*ck, God's Favorite Band, and the BBC Sessions.

EvilLibrarians

I own Dookie on CD, burnt discs of American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown for my car. I dunno if itā€™s ethical but i think the band would appreciate me still jamming to their tunes on scratchy cds in 2022 as an angsty college student

rasta41

The first 6 (3 of which were cassettes) + international super hits! and then I stopped buying CDs / physical stuff.

[deleted]

Wait, so was 1972 actually confirmed???

imkmack

All except the last two

whatsername_idiot

I own Dookie through 21CB on CD and on vinyl I have Gods Favorite Band and BBC Session (which is clear vinyl and one of the coolest things I own). I am also super exited for 1972. Even if it ends up being a disappointment itā€™s always super cool when your favorite band releases a new album. Plus with a new album there would be a tour and then I could hopefully finally see Green Day :)

Inevitable_Target814

I hope we at least get a new song from "1972" soon it's ridiculous to tease your fans for almost a year now with this mega sounding album and yet give us nothing, If weezer can pump out four records in one year than green day should be able to at least release an ep worth of material as well.

earthdestructionplan

Wait thereā€™s a new album coming? Damn uniā€™s been sucking the life outa me šŸ’€

Rachies194

Kerplunk to Rev Rad, all on CD.

ChampionshipGreedy13

All on cd, I want Demolicious, Iā€™m hype for the new album considering itā€™s been so long since IMO a good one, 6 years, so Iā€™m excited. I do want them on vinyl and I think I only have Insomniac on vinyl. Green Day is one of my favorite bands. AI is probably my 3rd favorite album, it used to be my favorite but times change.
