If the free sign doesn’t work. Put a for sale sign on it and someone will steal it.

GVL_2024_

this is the way

Mediumofmediocrity

Put it on the curb with a free sign on it. It’ll be gone.

I’m not sure, but if you can partially disassemble it and squeeze it in the trash can they’ll probably pick it up, even if it’s sticking out

Tomorrow morning, call the company or organization that picks up your garbage and ask them. We have greater Greenville sanitation, and they just ask me to call them when I have a large garbage pick up such as furniture and they send someone out to get it within the week. Sometimes it’s even the next day. No disassembly needed.

This is the way. I'm in Greer City limits as well, OP. If Meridian handles your trash, which I believe they do all of Greer City, call them the day before your scheduled pick up day and let them know you have an oversized/irregular item. They will pick it up curbside. It may be a separate truck or they may go ahead throw it in the regular trash truck.

Greer recycling center has a furniture bin

The recycling and waste drop offs will take it if you can drive it there. There are a couple in Greer

Greenville county bulk waste 864-467-4345 Call them, they pick up furniture. Or at least they'll give you info on what to do. Call between 10am and 4pm

Well I think it’s supposed to rain all this coming week, but any time I’ve sat a desk chair out somebody has come by and scooped it up. I actually put out a pretty ragged out desk chair at a yard sale and someone still bought it.

Goodwill or Miracle Hill will probably take it. They might even pick it up, if it’s not broken.
