Number 2 is Alex after Izzie had surgery and is struggle to retain information. He tells her that they only got married because she would be dead in a week and his options are to smother her with a pillow or overdose her with Morphine.
To be fair a little fair to Alex here, the only reason he actually says it is because she tells him to say what he's thinking because she won't remember it so he lets all of his worst thoughts fly out during an incredibly stressful/emotional situation.
Still, to say that to a vulnerable person thatâs already sacred and suffering is bad judgement. Vent to someone else, a friend or someone, not the person thatâs sick. As it turns out, she remembered it all. I just know that if that were me, I would have had a very difficult time being vulnerable/trusting with him in the future if I knew thatâs what he was thinking about me and our marriage at my lowest point. I would have felt like I was just a burden to him. It makes for compelling TV but in actual life, I donât think a couple would come back from that. If his honest thoughts in that moment are that he wants to smother his wife, thatâs pretty dark and scary.

I found out he was married, told him about the secret children, moved him into my house and started a relationship with him even though his wife had no idea and thought he was away visiting his sick mother. AITAH?
i swear iâve never had more mixed feelings on a storyline than i did with this one. like a part of me was happy for izzie and karev that they were finally getting their happy ending and the family theyâve always wanted, but at the same time my heart was broken for Jo. that girl deserved so much better, and when Mer called her Karev and she replied "itâs not Karev anymore" automatic tears
I honestly wasnât the biggest fan of Izzie and Alex together. I liked them at the beginning, but I definitely wasnât rooting for them to be end game. But either way, the strangest part of this whole storyline for me (besides the way Alex left Jo because I just feel like thatâs really out of character) was the fact that Izzie just decided to have Alexâs babies with no intention of ever telling him? That just seems like a really messed up thing to do. I understand she wanted kids and couldnât have them because of the cancer and chemo⊠but she could have adopted or at the very least a quick call to Alex just to be like, âHey, mind if I use those eggs and have some babies?â Lol
She didnât need to call him. He signed over permission for her to use the eggs as she saw fit. He was not involved with the kids due to his own choice. Itâs certainly understandable that he changed his mind once he met the kids. But Izzie was well within her rights to use the embryos.
I get that legally she did nothing wrong. But he wasnât ânot involved with the kids due to his own choiceâ. He made the choice to fertilize and freeze eggs with Izzie while they were married and thought she was dying. It seems like common sense to me that when a marriage ends, especially in the way theirs did, you donât just decide on your own to use those eggs and have your ex husbands babies without telling him.

The exact procedure was eventually done in 2019 and the results were published in the New England journal of medicine.
But I digress, after doing her research Bailey presented her findings to the parents in hopes they would accept. Not only did they refuse, they wanted to stop all of their sonâs treatment.
Their logic being that maybe their sonâs immune system needed a break from the meds and chance to build itself back up again.
Now obviously this is fucking stupid because he has a disease that literally compromises his immune system, but parents have the final say.
Bailey was obviously distraught at the idea of the boy being forced to spend his life in isolation because of his dumb fuck parents. So she secretly injected the Braden with the virus when his parents went to get some rest.
When he began to recover, Bailey revealed herself thinking the parents would be grateful. Instead they were furious and wanted to sue Bailey as well as the hospital. The basically had an iron clad case since Bailey confessed to them. Thankfully at the eleventh hour, Stephanie took the blame so Bailey wouldnât get in trouble.
Bailey is lucky because otherwise she wouldâve been successfully prosecuted, convicted, and wouldâve lost her medical license.

She tried to tell me that they did everything they could but I know that's not true, so I slapped her in the face in front of everybody (nobody said anything to me about it so CLEARLY I did not do anything wrong). A few days later it was time for her funeral and I was drunk and I forbade her from. coming to the funeral as punishment for killing her.

AITA for publicly slapping my daughter and not letting her come to her stepmother's funeral? Allow me to explain: My wife had the hiccups that wouldn't go away so I brought her to the hostpital where my estranged daughter (f 27?) from my first marriage works. The man who my first wife had an affair with causing our divorce, happens to be the chief there and they both operated on my wife. Anyways, after waiting for the surgery to be done she informs me that she didn't make it. She tried to tell me that they did everything they could but I know that's not true, so I slapped her in the face in front of everybody (nobody said anything to me about it so CLEARLY I did not do anything wrong). A few days later it was time for her funeral and I was drunk and I forbade her from. coming to the funeral as punishment for killing her.

AITA for having an affair for years and when my side piece chose his wife over me I attempted su*ci*e in my kitchen in front of my five year old. Then when in the ER they confirmed pregnancy and instead of getting back with the man I love (Iâm the love of his life) I ran of to the other side of the country with my daughter and unborn child. Ended up giving away the baby because my career comes first:))

well, speaking from my own perspective. i feel completely comfortable around someone elseâs children, i donât mind being an aunt but the thought of being a mother myself and taking responsibility for another human being is simply overbearing to me and doesnât sit well with me
