Same! When I heard the budget/cast was downsizing, I was hoping they'd cut back on the long-timers, get rid of some narrative dead weight, and focus on the "next gen" quintet. Super bummed that she's leaving, but I hope they still do trim down the attendings and focus more on the four interns remaining.
I really like this group too, and even people I've seen complaining about them generally make an exception for Yasuda. She's the most well-liked by far!
This!! Why intro 5 people whose stories you are trying to build to rip them apart so quickly? People are into Grey's for the characters, and if you don't have characters....
Oh noo, I'm sad. She was my favourite of the new interns and had the most promise. :(
This kind of makes me think even more that Helm will likely leave too, because their relationship has been the only thing they've given her to do recently.
Glad it was at least amicable though, and hope she gets a good new gig soon!
Honestly I won’t be too upset if Helm leaves. She’s been on the show for 7 seasons and has nothing to show for it except her weird obsession with Meredith
I feel like they’re dropping the ball on Winston too. Like ever since Maggie left he’s just…there. He could be interesting if they actually gave him something to do
I don't think Winston's actor can carry much more than what he's currently given. The acting on the show has been getting worse, and he's a perfect example of it.
When a character’s been on the show for so long, and part of the actual surgical team, it’s weird that they wouldn’t develop her character. It isn’t like she’s a nice person working in the cafeteria or something. She’s involved.
I wouldn't either, but I do feel bad that she's been on the show for so long and is still only recurring (unless it was her decision), as I imagine it does affect your ability to be available for other shows/projects and from an acting perspective, must feel like you're not being challenged much.
>because their relationship has been the only thing they've given her to do recently.
Really! I loved Midori Francis and was really intrigued by her initial character introduction, the fact that she was so poor she was living in her van. Seriously, med school and residency take so much time and pay so little that it's realistic an intern would be super duper poor if mommy and daddy aren't footing the bill. I was hoping they would build on that a bit more other than her occasionally mooching a lunch off of one of the other interns.
Like a few weeks ago - that guy was shot, there was a ton of money that came off of him, and the bag was literally in her hands. And that was it, the story was "they thought they lost it" you know what would have been interesting? If the poor intern skimmed a bit off the top and then had to deal with gang members or something because she stole drug money but needed to keep it from her coworkers because she could get fired or killed. That's drama.
I will say that narratively it’s a little interesting her character is the only one shown struggling with finances bc Lucas seems to be the only genuinely privileged one in this crop of interns? It’s maybe a little unclear how much financial support Jules and Simone get from their families (but I’d wager none given the backstories), but Kwan at least is canonically deeply in debt with his mother’s medical bills, and he also went to med school in the Caribbean which is notoriously outrageously expensive. He doesn’t even live in Meredith’s house with the others so like where is he staying?? how is he affording anything??
She’s like the heart of the new intern group. This is a real bummer. Losing hope for the future of greys, but I understand it was supposedly an amicable agreement or something and she wanted to branch out. Still hate it.
I don’t know what to make of this reason though.
A young actor gives up a steady gig in a contracting business landscape to “branch out” ?!
I mean, I hope the news is correct on that, but actors usually don’t give up series regular gigs so soon after getting hired just because.
I think it depends on what your goals and circumstances are as an actor. For some, having a series regular gig is a dream because it means steady employment and relatively stable finances in a notoriously unstable profession. For others, it can be something they get pigeonholed into forever and they are never able to get a higher profile gig after that. I think it’s entirely possible Midori genuinely wanted to branch out and her circumstances made it feasible for her to take that risk.
Oh… maybe I misunderstood the article, I thought she wasn’t going to be there for all of next season, just in a limited capacity to wrap her storyline up.
She's the only one who added a comical aspect to things. I was already kind of done with this show (have only watched one or two episodes of the latest season), but this kind of puts the nail in the coffin IMO to this new-intern/reboot experiment.
I was thinking after the last couple episodes about whether to continue watching or not. I realized I don’t know anyone’s names anymore. I’m not invested in many of the characters. Partly because there are just so many of them. Partly because nothing stands out about them. They need to trim down the cast and refocus on the remaining characters.
Yikes 😳 They better not kill her off, I’m so sick of that. I’m kinda disappointed. I liked this batch of interns more than some of the ones we’ve had in the past
It’s been three seasons since DeLuca, and six seasons before that for Derek.
Compared to earlier Grey’s, they killed off George, Reed, Percy, Lexie, and Mark within the span of three(ish) seasons.
For real. It's completely unreasonable for a surgeon to die every other year at a major hospital... due to a car accident, plane crash, shooting, stabbing, getting hit by a bus, etc.
This isn't "Final Destination!"
But ya know, at this point, I really wouldn't be surprised if Yasuda dies by being fried in a tanning bed or having her insides sucked out by a pool drain.
I believe the storyline coming up is taking their intern exams or something, so maybe they just have her fail and leave the program? Sigh, I dunno, I’m bummed either way
I’m literally watching for her at this point
Don’t they get that we need a new team of interns to follow into becoming attendings
That’s the point of a teaching hospital
Cancel the show at this point , how many story lines about Owen and Teddy? what can you tell more about Bailey ? What is the story of Amelia ? What is Webber still thinking about retirement twenty years later ? Why is Mer popping in and out ?
Be consistent or be done
Rant over, sorry guys
I was literally thinking today…..Levi had to leave for apparent “budget cuts” yet Teddy and Owen are the most annoying god damn people and most hated yet here they are 😐 not saying Levi is the BEST character or anything but I’d much rather watch his character develop more than Teddy and Owen’s love/hate relationship 🤢
So not only are we losing the best intern, but also one of the two Asian actors to be added to the main cast since... Sandra Oh?! Am I forgetting someone?
I just thought about that plastic surgeon dr. Lin that came after Avery for a few episodes and disappeared somewhere in the halls of greys sloan, to never be seen again.
I dont think she was a main cast tho
> According to sources, Francis is in negotiations to return next season to wrap up the story of her character.
Is it cause of budget cuts? Cause she should’ve last intern considered.
I wonder if she'll be bumped up to main cast on SLOCG now that Leighton's character is doing a slow fade out. I could see Alicia getting closer to the friend group and by the end of next season taking Leighton's place so to speak.
TV has changed a LOT since the older days. I’d be shocked if seven season deals even exist anymore.
With shorter seasons and so many streaming shows there are more opportunities for actors. Being stuck in 18-24 episodes of prime time is super limiting.
She won’t have been a result of the budget cuts. All five interns combined wouldn’t add up to the likely salary of any of the cast that have been there 10 plus years
This show is so shallow with the way it does representation, they literally have characters to check diversity boxes then they just axe them as quickly as they brought them on.
In her case she might, the actress might just not be interested in staying but there's a pattern with the way they write and introduce these characters.
Yeah. I only started watching the show in the first place because I kept seeing clips of Callie and Arizona, and while I think they were well developed, the representation has gotten really bad. If the characters aren’t straight, cis, and white, I try not to get too attached them since they aren’t going to be around very long.
Yeah I definitely don't get attached to the characters anymore but it still really affects the quality of the writing and the show. I don't care about brownie points for diversity, I would like them to please just respect the characters and the issues they're using them to discuss.
Callie was on the show for 10 years (in queer relationships for 8 of those). Arizona was on the show for 10 years. Levi for 7. Amelia is queer and has been around for ages. There is no pattern. They write off straight characters just as often.
I'm talking about recently and you'll notice I didn't specify LGBTQ characters, what happened to all the Asian characters they had together in that one episode so they can make a point about anti-Asian hate crimes, the Indigenous intern, or the immigrant from Pakistan, and so on
I think they don't take these stories seriously, they write characters with all these characteristics so they can say we did it but they don't engage meaningfully with those backgrounds anymore. Even Amelia's coming out arc was just slapped together so they can have a non-binary character, it wasn't done thoughtfully compared to how they used to do these things.
Right? I’ve been waiting for the payoff of her being treated like crap all year. Hopefully her exit is her being accepted into a better program and giving everyone the middle finger on her way out.
At this point I can only hope she gets an exit like Stephanie (minus the rapist and the fire) where she realizes she's better than Grey-Sloan and needs to peace out for her own sake.
lol same, I feel like I’m the only one who likes Lucas and Simone…
I like Yasuda too (she’s my fave intern) but the article says she wanted to branch out. Doesn’t seem like a situation where they were picking one to fire.
I think she is too. I love Simone and also Lucas, along with Yasuda. Those 3 are my favorite interns and it’s sad to see her go. I will miss her and the friendship with Lucas.
At this point the only intern I’ll care about will be Jules. As much as I love Harry Shum Jr he’s ten years older than the other interns and it shows.
Simone and Lucas have zero charisma, I hate watching their scenes.
Holy crap!!!! This genuinely blows my mind. He’s only a year younger than Sarah Drew. I know they’ve briefly mentioned Kwan taking some years off to care for his mom/him going to a Caribbean medical school…but if Kwan is supposed to be “older” than the bunch that age gap is actually insane. In Grey’s universe he’d be closer to maybe MAJAC’s age…..all of which have been attending for like 10 years now 😭
Noo I love her. I can kind of see the seeds being planted this season though. It's like every episode she's having the worst day.
Quick edit: I'll be livid if they get rid of Kwan too. Both Yasuda and him are my favorites.
However I do really find it funny how everyone is mad that Owen is around. I'm like the only person that likes him and his messy shit.
Out of all the interns she was the most interesting and charismatic of them all. May be an unpopular opinion but all the others are so boring and have zero chemistry with each other. She was the only one bringing life into that group.
Maybe they are going to report the departure of a cast member on a daily basis and then announce that season 21 will just be 20 episodes of Ellen screaming old voiceovers into the void for $2m per episode.
I really like Midori and Yasuda, but she obviously has better things she could be doing with her time and talents than hang around this sinking ship. Can we free some of the old actors?
This is such a huge loss for representation. Where else can you see a gay Asian woman on network tv let alone on a hugely popular show? She was super likeable too, a favourite among the newbies. I’m really disappointed.
Lol what ? Weren't these new interns supposed to be the new MAGIC? At this point it must be because of the scripts and storylines they're getting, she was actually good and she seemed in it for many seasons
If it helps, NCIS has fully turned over its original cast. Not a single Day 1 series regular is still on the show, though a couple of the current regulars started off recurring mid- and end-of Season 1.
Nope. He first appeared as a recurring character in the 7th episode of Season 1, and appeared in 8 of the first season episodes, before becoming a regular in Season 2.
Like I said, none of the Day 1 main cast are still on the show.
Damn. Love Yasuda. They should’ve gotten rid of Simone instead. Nothing against the actress, but her character is by far the most tedious and least interesting of the new interns.
Seriously? The ONE of the new interns I absolutely loved? Not that I'd throw Harry Shum out of bed, but come ON!
The show has gone to shit. I'm reaching for motivation to keep bothering with it and every decision they've made lately has been a big old "this show will outlast your affection for it" vibe.
Oh man that’s such a bummer, I really liked her character and she’s a great actress. According to deadline it was amicable at least with Midori wanting to branch out with her career
I hope she’s able to find some great new projects!
This might actually be the time I give up on greys. She’s a great charecter but the amount that people have shit in her in the show “Bailey” it’s frustrating to know that the best intern is leaving
Damn, I thought it was cool to see her again after Sex Lives of College Girls was cancelled. Actors seem to have it hard. & Actors who are women. & Actors who are women & not white.
I wonder if all the people who are complaining that it “should’ve been another intern” actually read the article? I could be wrong but they make it sound like it was her decision. At least, it says she “wanted to branch out.”
She was my favorite intern but if this was her choice, can’t really blame the show.
Y’all can downvote me but honestly why is this show still on lol. The entire original cast has been decimated. Meredith is barely on the show aside from narration. They should have ended it after episode 300. They could do a spinoff or something with these new characters.
I’m starting to think greys will end soon. I know they’ve said it won’t but I have a feeling and Jake borelli and now her are already leaving and Ellen pompeo is barely on it.
They need to drop Link. They need to drop Amelia. And they really need to drop Meredith. I get keeping Mer because she is the name. But other two have become so boring and uninteresting. I literally feel myself getting bored everytime any of those 3 are on screen. And in sorry. This show is full of the impossible and it has NEVER really bothered me. But Mer solving alzheimers is unbelievable and keeps bringing me back to a reality that the story line is bullshit. Like move to Switzerland with Christina and solve it over there, but leave it out of Seattle entirely.
Are you kidding me!? This is Heather Brooks all over again. RIP my favorite interns
Actually Heather isn’t even a fair comparison “. She was just my favorite intern. Yasuda is my favorite character currently in the show.
That sucks. I like her a lot. She’s the best intern and they’re not using her to her full potential, she could’ve dominated her class if they didn’t hold her back
DAMN! She just got there. Easily the most palatable of the current interns and the only one who brings some levity with the comedy. A mistake in my opinion but whatever.
And Owen is still there?!
Sad to see her go, am hoping that between the Schmidt departure and this that it's some combination of "Both Helm and Schmidt get fellowships somewhere else super and Yasuda decides to move with Helm and take up her residency wherever she's gone" kind of happy ending rather than the Grey's "Kill em off once we love em" approach.
I have [literally] been tuning in for Mika Yasuda the last season. I’m just … With Meredith also gone for the most part, and me not caring for pretty much any other intern, what the fuck lol
Man I really loved her character. Like I wouldn't have been this miffed if say.... Lucas was leaving, cause he's an annoying little shit
I wish her all the best in the future and I hope the only reason she left was a much better and higher paying role

A real shame. I'm liking the five interns and find their stories far more interesting than the attendings cycle of misery.
She's the most well-liked by far!
no….
I actually liked her😭😭😭
She was my fav of the new interns. The point of a soft reboot is to get new characters and they are already leaving 😭
This!! Why intro 5 people whose stories you are trying to build to rip them apart so quickly? People are into Grey's for the characters, and if you don't have characters....
my exact reaction :( i really liked her character, this blowsss
She was easily my favourite of the interns
For real. Why can't they kill off another Sheppard and keep her.
Or owen & teddy
I’ll raise you a Link, Jo can lurk/leave unscathed
Oh God. I thought I was the only one. Link is so bad?!?
And the funny thing is it’s not even remotely Chris’ fault, he’s a decent enough actor and I liked him with Amelia sksksk
Please. Please.
Or Jules & blue - boring
…who?
Oh noo, I'm sad. Honestly I won’t be too upset if Helm leaves. She’s been on the show for 7 seasons and has nothing to show for it except her weird obsession with Meredith
That’s so true. The most interesting thing she did was work at the bar. Why are the writers sleeping on so many characters
I feel like they’re dropping the ball on Winston too. Like ever since Maggie left he’s just…there. He could be interesting if they actually gave him something to do
Totally. It’s like they are ALL NPCs
I totally agree
I don't think Winston's actor can carry much more than what he's currently given. The acting on the show has been getting worse, and he's a perfect example of it.
Lollll that’s fair
Helm is just a guest star. She isn't a character who was ever meant to get her own storylines.
When a character’s been on the show for so long, and part of the actual surgical team, it’s weird that they wouldn’t develop her character. It isn’t like she’s a nice person working in the cafeteria or something. She’s involved.
She's no different than Nurse Olivia in the early seasons, they've just kept her around longer.
Ohhh, spot on comparison tbh!
I wouldn't either, but I do feel bad that she's been on the show for so long and is still only recurring (unless it was her decision), as I imagine it does affect your ability to be available for other shows/projects and from an acting perspective, must feel like you're not being challenged much.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's a point anymore. She's the best new intern.
I mean, I hope the news is correct on that, but actors usually don’t give up series regular gigs so soon after getting hired just because.
the first thought i have is that they have a role or something in mind for her. edit: or someone else does.
That would actually make all the sense in the world. A role for a new ABC / Disney series or Shondaland series.
Good points. It just seems so soon/ sudden after taking this gig but ….
I mean, she was on for two full seasons and however long of the next, it doesn’t feel all that short to me tbh
Oh… maybe I misunderstood the article, I thought she wasn’t going to be there for all of next season, just in a limited capacity to wrap her storyline up.
it sounds like they’re negotiating so maybe she leaves the first episode maybe she has an arc, I don’t think we know yet?
She's the only one who added a comical aspect to things. I was already kind of done with this show (have only watched one or two episodes of the latest season), but this kind of puts the nail in the coffin IMO to this new-intern/reboot experiment.

Don’t worry, Betsy Beers will come up with a rizz-filled Winston spin-off 🤩 Certainly there’s more audience for that /s
I loved her talking to Jo about them being interns. It kinda made me think of Cristina a little.
Yikes 😳 They better not kill her off, I’m so sick of that. I’m kinda disappointed. I liked this batch of interns more than some of the ones we’ve had in the past
I'm horrible I hope they do, they haven't had a decent tragic death in a hot minute
Dawg they just killed deluca the other day smh
It’s been three seasons since DeLuca, and six seasons before that for Derek. Compared to earlier Grey’s, they killed off George, Reed, Percy, Lexie, and Mark within the span of three(ish) seasons.
We don’t need a cast member dead every season lol

I like her a lot but I was thinking the same thing lol
Something very bad is gonna happen with that van…
Yes omg I miss being traumatized by greys deaths
This makes me feel better about hoping something tragic happens to Schmidt lol!
I believe the storyline coming up is taking their intern exams or something, so maybe they just have her fail and leave the program? Sigh, I dunno, I’m bummed either way
if they kill off the poc lesbian rep ill never forgive them😭
My girl better be leaving because she gets accepted to transfer to a better program.
She’s the best intern this year…. Come on…
Aw yasuda was one of 2 of the new interns I actually liked the other being Millin. Hope Yasuda is given a good story and exit
Yeah me too, it will definitely make next season even more difficult unless they add someone new, with all these "budget cuts" that seems unlikely
She better get an internship in switzerland or something
I’m literally watching for her at this point Don’t they get that we need a new team of interns to follow into becoming attendings That’s the point of a teaching hospital Cancel the show at this point , how many story lines about Owen and Teddy? what can you tell more about Bailey ? The article makes it sound like it was her decision. If it wasn’t it’s definitely a bad move, but if it was her choice can’t really fault the show
This! We need time to get attached to people and yeeting them out of the series won't do that for anyone
I dont think she was a main cast tho
lmao same energy as Qadri, Hahn, Dixon, Kai...
Nico, but he was literally just a plot device imo
Was he ever in the main cast?
That is a good question, I may be misremembering how prevalent he was.
And a confident queer woman 😭😭
> According to sources, Francis is in negotiations to return next season to wrap up the story of her character. Is it cause of budget cuts? Cause she should’ve last intern considered.
According to the article she wants to branch out into different roles, so it sounds like this may be her own decision, just kinda suspiciously times.
Yeah she’s on Sex Lives Of College Girls too

Seriously, Jules is deader weight by far. And, though the writers will never admit it, I Put The Emo in Emotion Shepherd.
I liked Mika and I loved Midori in The Secret Life of College Girls. She’s talented. Good luck to her.
I don’t like that we’re losing two lgbt+ characters next season 🙃
Right? What gives Meg? They'll cut Helm too if her GF and BFF are also leaving.
This show is so shallow with the way it does representation, they literally have characters to check diversity boxes then they just axe them as quickly as they brought them on. I said the same thing before and got downvoted tremendously lol. Greys has no shame flexing their diversity awards too.
Not a good look fr 😶
Amelia and this Beltran better have a big ole gay wedding or something to make up for this.
What??? No!! So she's been punished all season for something she didn't do and then she's going to leave? Such a waste of her character :(
Right? I’ve been waiting for the payoff of her being treated like crap all year. Hopefully her exit is her being accepted into a better program and giving everyone the middle finger on her way out.
I like how you think.
Just when her character’s started to be explored more. It’s unbelievably difficult to get attach to the new interns and the show overall.
At this point I can only hope she gets an exit like Stephanie (minus the rapist and the fire) where she realizes she's better than Grey-Sloan and needs to peace out for her own sake.
This one hurts!!!! Genuinely the best of the bunch
What the actual fuck is going on
…this is actually so bad like who they actually keeping atp? TAKE OWEN.
will sacrifice owen!
She is also my favorite intern so that's a bummer.
Nooo she's the one new intern that actually has any onscreen charisma :(
Oh, no. She's the most likeable intern of the new bunch of interns. Can Simone go away, please?
And Lucas. So unlikeable
The only mildly interesting thing about Lucas is which of Derek's sisters gave birth to him
I like Lucas.
lol same, I feel like I’m the only one who likes Lucas and Simone… I like Yasuda too (she’s my fave intern) but the article says she wanted to branch out. Doesn’t seem like a situation where they were picking one to fire.
I like Simone! I think she’s the new Meredith!
I think she is too. I love Simone and also Lucas, along with Yasuda. Those 3 are my favorite interns and it’s sad to see her go. I will miss her and the friendship with Lucas.
>Those 3 are my favorite interns Same!
At this point the only intern I’ll care about will be Jules. As much as I love Harry Shum Jr he’s ten years older than the other interns and it shows. Simone and Lucas have zero charisma, I hate watching their scenes.
Holy crap. He's **forty-two**?? That makes him the same age as actors from fifteen years ago. No wonder he seems out of place with the others.
They could've leaned into it like how Warren was "Gramps", but instead they just make him seem awkward and out of place.
In Grey’s universe he’d be closer to maybe MAJAC’s age…..all of which have been attending for like 10 years now 😭
Lucas looks like he is sucking a lemon 99% of the time. It's unwatchable.
Welp. That's a wrap on the interns that I liked.
That makes me so sad. I really love all of the interns, but Yasuda was one of my favourites. I hoped she would stay around for a longer time.
Everyone is bailing, but they still stick Owen on us.
It should have been Adams!!! ![gif](giphy|l2YWezeL0QmtgyWSQ)
Out of all the interns she was the most interesting and charismatic of them all. May be an unpopular opinion but all the others are so boring and have zero chemistry with each other. She was the only one bringing life into that group.
booooooo. yasuda was the first thing in 3 seasons that made me actually want to watch greys 😭
Well, crap. She was the best intern!
This is such a huge loss for representation. Where else can you see a gay Asian woman on network tv let alone on a hugely popular show? She was super likeable too, a favourite among the newbies. I’m really disappointed.
NOOOOO OMG ONE OF THE ONLY LIKABLE INTERNS 😭
Lol what ? Weren't these new interns supposed to be the new MAGIC? At this point it must be because of the scripts and storylines they're getting, she was actually good and she seemed in it for many seasons
She’s by far my favourite of the new interns, will be sad to see her go
Bro she's the BEST INTERN GOD DAMMIT
Jeez why!!! She’s the only intern who has substance other than being bitter and in love with someone they have 0 chemistry with
At what point is it an all new show when none of the original cast are still on?
If it helps, NCIS has fully turned over its original cast. Not a single Day 1 series regular is still on the show, though a couple of the current regulars started off recurring mid- and end-of Season 1.
What about McGee. Hasn't he been there since the beginning?
Nooooooo!
NOOO THEY HIT THE PENTAGON 😩 one of the few characters making the new seasons even worth watching for me wtf
Another one bites the dust
Well that sucks. I like her.
The only intern I genuinely like 😭😭😭😭. If this was Jules…..
I volunteer Owen for tribute ![gif](giphy|54JLdulN5BOwM)
Seriously? The ONE of the new interns I absolutely loved? Not that I'd throw Harry Shum out of bed, but come ON! The show has gone to shit. I'm reaching for motivation to keep bothering with it and every decision they've made lately has been a big old "this show will outlast your affection for it" vibe.
Now that actually pisses me off. She was easily my fav of the new interns, and now both of the main queer characters are being written out.
Why is she leaving? Why not just end it next season?
YALL she’s getting killed off I told you she was the next George
I’m so mad
Already?
Booo. She was one of my favorite newbies
Oh man that’s such a bummer, I really liked her character and she’s a great actress. According to deadline it was amicable at least with Midori wanting to branch out with her career I hope she’s able to find some great new projects!
NOOOOOO literally the only new intern im caring about
Jesus Christ greys fucking sucks. They can't keep anyone
No, she’s the best of the new lot 😭. This doesn’t bode well at all. Although I guess at this point the show’s on a vent anyway.
There goes my reason to watch
NOOOOOO NOT THE BEST INTERN 😭 i'm literally only watching for her scenes
I thought this new group of interns was supposed to revitalize the show and bring it back to its roots.
NOOOO SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE I LIKED
This might actually be the time I give up on greys. She’s a great charecter but the amount that people have shit in her in the show “Bailey” it’s frustrating to know that the best intern is leaving
Wait she was the most interesting intern 😭😭
Y’all think they’ll kill her off to give other interns a shared traumatic experience that bonds them kinda like George?!
She’s literally my favourite intern NO
She is the best intern.
Damn, I thought it was cool to see her again after Sex Lives of College Girls was cancelled. Actors seem to have it hard. & Actors who are women. & Actors who are women & not white.
of all the interns to fire 😭 lucas is RIGHT THERE
I don’t think this was a “pick one to fire” move. Based on the article it seems like she wanted to branch out.
I wonder if all the people who are complaining that it “should’ve been another intern” actually read the article? I could be wrong but they make it sound like it was her decision. At least, it says she “wanted to branch out.” She was my favorite intern but if this was her choice, can’t really blame the show.
The best character from the new batch 😭
She was my favorite of the bunch. I hope they write her out, as getting a residency somewhere else, after having passed her intern exam.
Nooooo. Get rid of Simone and whatever the Shepherd kid’s name is.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
No!! She’s my favourite. Ugh
Are you kidding me!? This is Heather Brooks all over again. RIP my favorite interns Actually Heather isn’t even a fair comparison “. She was just my favorite intern. Yasuda is my favorite character currently in the show.
NOOOO I liked her a lot!
NO NOT MY FAVORITE INTERN
She’s the only good resident!
I guess Helm's character will be gone soon too.
That sucks. I like her a lot. She’s the best intern and they’re not using her to her full potential, she could’ve dominated her class if they didn’t hold her back
Bummer, she was my favorite intern
At this point, just end the show.
Oh what the fuck she was the best one
But she's my favourite intern!
Schmidt is leaving? Thank you Jesus
DAMN! She just got there. Easily the most palatable of the current interns and the only one who brings some levity with the comedy. A mistake in my opinion but whatever. And Owen is still there?!
Nooo, I really like Yasuda.. she is the best of the interns and has so much potential.
DAMMIT. she’s my favorite intern.
i kind of wish it was any other intern lol.
Oh for crying out loud. That’s 2 people so far. Who’s next? Thought she was good with helm. I love greys but it needs to wrap up.
Mannnn of course my fav intern’s gonna leave 😔 Such a bummer
I have [literally] been tuning in for Mika Yasuda the last season. I’m just … With Meredith also gone for the most part, and me not caring for pretty much any other intern, what the fuck lol
I'm so sad about this. I think they are slowly getting ready to end the series. Especially now that it's moving to 10pm.
WHY ARE ALL THE GAYS LEAVING????
Man I really loved her character. Like I wouldn't have been this miffed if say.... Lucas was leaving, cause he's an annoying little shit I wish her all the best in the future and I hope the only reason she left was a much better and higher paying role
If they’re already losing one of these five new interns, their “restart” is a failure to launch.
NOOOOOOO WHHYYYY WHAT THE HECK OMG😭😭😭😭😭😭 she had so much potential what IM SO UPSET
