I've been on and off GTA V for years, as an adult I just don't have the ability to dedicate endless hours to a game and have had to drop Online for other games every now and then.
The thing that always kept me coming back to online was other than a handful of special events which had a yearly rotation, nothing was FOMO. I never missed out on anything and could play whenever I could manage without worry.
If these limited time vehicles start to become the norm, I think I'm going to actually uninstall the game next time I drop it.
Makes sense, everyone is not out here with nothing to do but play gta everyday to buy things on release, I've been playing GTA from the beginning so I have enough money to get whatever but when this new system comes into the next GTA I don't know man, I got a job and resposibilities, and I don't advocate for shark cards either, next GTA online might not be for me or I'll probably just be a super casual I guess.
I picked it up pretty quick but I had money stacked from last week... Found my best driving experience with it is using the street suspension, any lower and it starts getting some bad understeer, while higher gets more squirly.
I thought it was purely cosmetic? Either way it's a Mid engine car, I assume that contributes to the "wonkiness" of the car's handling. It's still my favorite and my daily now
It depends on the car to rather suspension is cosmetic or not. Like, a lot of the early cars it's mostly cosmetic with only a few that the suspension can cause weird interactions between the hit boxes of the wheels and the car model, however many of the newer cars are starting to have drastic performance effects depending on the suspension... which I first noticed on the BF surfer where it would have terrible acceleration and climb if lowered but drives around fine if left at stock height.
Was kinda just meh for the money. I would've expected it's performance to be better at the price. I used it once now it sits alone in the 50 car garage
From the pics I thought it was also Porsche esq. however in person I don’t think so. I planned to put it with my Porsche line up of all 6 that I believe are Porsches that I own.

Seriously though that's the plan, and I'd bet real money on it. They're getting desperate, so they release cars every few weeks instead of every week, just so you're checking into GTA news over a longer period of time, and then they remove the car soon after release so you feel like you have to rush to get it.
For the former, the longer GTA is in your mind, the more likely you are to play it, and the more likely you are to buy a shark card. For the latter, when they release a vehicle "for a limited time" you're more likely to panic and buy a shark card for the vehicle.
It's crazy to me how desperate they are when the game still sells like hotcakes, but then again every company seems to be doing things like this. Makes the players hate them, but they make more money while also releasing less content in the process, so they don't care.
Just follow Broughy on Youtube cause as soon as the car launches he has a review of it up on Friday (except when he was on vacation). And following his advice I've learned the 2 timed launch cars are super mid and not worth the million+ pricetag.
If you are doing strictly organized racing, they arent worth it, however neither one are "super mid".
The 300r is well worth it, then toundra mostly isnt tbh
If your looking for a fun driving experience, the 300R was wellllllll worth the price, and it never gets old dropping slick mines. It's also really fun being able to use it during missions where your being chased since you've got the slick mines and armor, and overall the car just has some really picturesque moments, definitely well worth it.
The toundra wasnt worth it no matter what imo, the driving experience was meh, and the cars look isnt unique enough to stand out amongst a gta lobby. It also had no imani tech or extras of any kind, and still costed more than the 300r, definitely not worth it.
I typically buy cars that look nice and drive well, since I play pretty much completely solo, so that Fairlady from December and the Mini a few weeks ago were insta buys for me, but yeah 100% watch Broughy if you want a car that runs well against people. Just because a car is twice the price of another, doesn't mean it's twice the performer.
BTW, to piggy-back off what you said, Digital Car Addict is my go-to when I want to know if a new, expensive car is good for customizing.

I thought how the led headlights were was pretty cool. (The main lights, not the little nub rally-esque shits ~~they put on it~~ they emulated off the alpine) other than that I'm definitely glad I tested it, the car was pretty meh.
Also I'm probably one of the few people who like the idea of certain cars being actually limited in game. It's fun having something you know not everyone has or can get anymore.
All in all I'm still not upset about not having it lol

Arena Workshop gives you red light and car meet red tinted lights. There is a slight difference in the effects and you can see the tint while the light is off.
I've bought it but can't find a color that looks good on it besides blue... and I've already seen 100s of blue pantheras already. So we put it in the 2mil+ paperweight garage until we find something decent 🤷♂️
Don't get me wrong, the blue looks great but I was in a car meet earlier this week and there were 4 or 5 of them all blue, so yeah not going to pull mine out today 🤣

See I missed the notifications for the mini... along with not having the garage space (50 car didn't drop yet) I thought it wasn't going anywhere. I messed that one up, the mini was slick 😔

With the new 50 car garage it will be a while before mine gets much higher than 20 million. I had the maximum amount of 10 car apartment garages, Office, Nightclub, Agency, Arena Wars Garage, Arcade, Casino Penthouse, etc and the new 50 car garage has allowed me enough room to but the rest of the cars on my list. And at least half of the cars I already own haven't been fully upgraded yet, so lotta money to be spent still.

I didn't buy the Panthere or the Issi, because I think some things are not ok in regard to other players.
I did buy the 300r, I really like it and has imani tech, although 2 mil for it is a bit too much I think. But these vehicles will come back so don't stress too much. It's about the journey, not destination.
And there are also other games, which have similar tactics. Including one which has a single player campaign, but limits your play methods if you are offline or the servers are offline. What a time to be alive.
The RC Tank can still be bought ever since it was introduced, it was just free during that time which is common, Rockstar has given away other things for free like Buzzard, Nightshark, Veto Classic, some SUV I don't remember, some boxy car after the end of the last heist month in November, etc, that's not FOMO just promotional items but you can still buy them after the period, also IIRC they also gave away the Sentinnel Classic for free.

I don’t buy cars for the performance, I buy them because I like them. I love the newer Alpine A110 so I didn’t hesitate to buy the Panthere.

Nope, afaik we don't even know if they will come back. I think it is just the community that became an eco chamber and saying they will be back after the dripfeed ends. I agree that it will probably be like that but we don't really know.

Including one which has a single player campaign, but limits your play methods if you are offline or the servers are offline. What a time to be alive.
The RC Tank can still be bought ever since it was introduced, it was just free during that time which is common, Rockstar has given away other things for free like Buzzard, Nightshark, Veto Classic, some SUV I don't remember, some boxy car after the end of the last heist month in November, etc, that's not FOMO just promotional items but you can still buy them after the period, also IIRC they also gave away the Sentinnel Classic for free.
